Chapter 250: How About We Have Another Child?
Leah and Jake got off the stage after the show. They were the first to come to Wendy and Michael.
Leah was smiling very happily and ran into Michael’s arms with her arms wide open as she said, "Mummy and Daddy, how was my dance today?"
"Great, very good," Michael praised Leah and kissed her little cheeks.
Wendy smiled and gave her a thumbs up.
Even the parents around said, "Leah danced well."
"Did Leah learn to dance? She made no mistakes while leading the whole dance. I saw my daughter make several mistakes."
"Leah is awesome!"
Other parents around the room started asking Wendy, "Mrs. Lucas, did your daughter take dance lessons somewhere? Or did you hire a private instructor? I want to send my daughter to take dance lessons too."
Wendy smiled and shook her head as she said, "No, not yet, but we are planning to send her to take dance lessons."
"Really? She’s so good at dancing without ever learning it." The parents were not buying it.
Wendy did not explain too much.
Behind them, Christian watched the family’s warmth and happiness. The smile on his face could no longer be kept, and his fingers were clenching one by one.
In the next second, he stood up, turned around and left. Wendy was relieved to see Christian go.
.....
Zen was shocked to learn that Christian had gone to Jake’s kindergarten today, and immediately drove over.
She was afraid that Christian would do something to them. But when Zen arrived, she saw Christian coming out of the kindergarten with a sullen expression on his face.
She looked inside the kindergarten, but naturally she couldn’t see anything.
Christian had already walked away from Zen, and Zen subconsciously followed him and said with some urgency in her voice, "What are you doing here?"
Christian didn’t answer Zen’s words and didn’t say a word.
"Christian!" Zen saw that he looked a little intimidating, and ran up to him with big steps to stop him and asked, "What in the world do you want?"
"He... " Christian looked at Zen in front of him and reached out to pinch Zen’s chin harshly.
Suddenly, he remembered what Michael had just said to him.
He said that he had done all kinds of bad things and was prone to having his future bloodline cut off.
Originally, Christian did not care whether he had a family or children. Because in his opinion, a wife and children did not necessarily lead to a happy and fulfilling life.
As a child, he always lived in a dark place without a ray of light. There had never been any happiness in Christian’s world. So, he didn’t want to have children. But when he saw Michael’s family, Christian was a little envious for the first time.
"What are you doing?" Zen swallowed hard and looked at Christian with some fear in her eyes.
Christian was acting a bit abnormal.
Zen couldn’t help but worry more about Wendy and the others.
"You love me, don’t you?" Christian smiled devilishly with a fatal charm to him and said, "Give birth to a child for me then!"
Zen’s heart skipped a beat in shock when she heard Christian’s words. A child?
This was the first time Zen had heard the word "child" from Christian’s lips.
"What’s wrong with you today?" Zen’s pupils slowly dilated as she looked at Christian’s face intently.
He was just too out of sorts.
"If you don’t answer directly, consider yourself acquiescing," Christian ignored Zen, and the hand that was cupping her chin moved to tug her hand tightly.
Zen was forcibly pulled by Christian to the car.
"Christian... " Zen was a little flustered as her heart was pounding madly as she said, "Where are you taking me?"
"Hotel!" The simple and straightforward word crushed Zen’s disturbed and chaotic mind.

According to the flow of the event, after the kindergarten class performance, there was an individual performance.
Jake had no talent in this area and couldn’t sing or dance. Leah, on the other hand, had a singing act.
Jake sat in the audience with Wendy and Michael and watched Leah perform.
In total, there were about ten children who participated in the individual show.
All of these kids volunteered and were screened once.
The audience was filled with the most excitement after Leah’s performance.
It was soon twelve o’clock and lunch time.
The kindergarten arranged for a communal meal at noon. After lunch, at 1:30 p.m., it was time for the awards ceremony.
The host stood on stage and read out the names of the winners and said, "Congratulations to Leah for winning the first prize for her individual performance and let’s give a round of applause to Leah and her parents!"
According to the requirements, one parent would accompany her to the stage.
"Leah, you can go up with Daddy," said Wendy.
"No, you go with Mummy," said Michael.
Leah looked at Wendy and Michael and was in a bit of a quandary.
Should she choose daddy to go on stage with her, or should she choose mummy?
It didn’t really matter if they went on stage or not. At this time, Michael and Wendy wanted to see who Leah would choose.
"Mummy, let’s go up together." Leah took Wendy by the hand and said to Michael apologetically, "Daddy, is it okay if I choose you next time?"
Expecting this choice, Michael reached out and stroked Leah’s little head and said, "Okay, go on stage."
Michael and his son sat in the audience with their eyes full of mirth.
Then as they both stood on the podium, they both took out their phones and took pictures.
After the awards were presented, it was time for the parent-child activities.
The kindergarten arranged quite a few programs, including parent-child relay races,
one person trying to guess, frog jumping, carrying balloons and so on.
They were all very childish activities, but when Wendy and Michael really participated in them, they only felt happy.
All the parents almost forgot that they were already 20 to 30 years old.
At 6:00 p.m., the parent-child program ended, and the parents took their children home after the closing ceremony.
Leah was so exhausted that she fell asleep in the car with her little trophy in her arms.
Michael carried her gently for fear of waking her up and tried to keep his footsteps as gentle as possible.
After putting her to bed and covering her with the blanket, Michael reached out to take Leah’s trophy and put it down but found that she was holding on to it for dear life.
Michael laughed helplessly and let her be.
After dinner, Wendy washed up and went into the bedroom, while Michael laid on the bed watching the day’s videos over and over again.
Wendy was amused and said, "How many times have you watched it since you got back?"
Michael said, "I never get tired of watching it. My daughter is so good. She actually got me a first place," Michael’s face was full of pride.
"Look at your smug look." Wendy kept smiling even though she was mocking Michael.
Michael suddenly put down the camera, put his hand around Wendy’s waist, and said in a low voice, "Wendy, how about we have another child?"
When Wendy heard this, she reached out and smacked him. She said somewhat shyly, "Get lost, who wants to have another one with you? Two is not enough?"
Michael said, "Not enough."
Michael pushed Wendy straight down on the bed.
"I’m exhausted today, so stop it." Wendy had been following the events all afternoon today, and although she hadn’t fallen asleep in the car straight away like Leah had, she was still very tired.
Wendy didn’t know how he had such good stamina.
Before Michael could say anything, the phone rang.
