Chapter 242: First Time Wearing A Wedding Dress
"Mrs. Lucas, come with us first and soon you will know," the one at the head of the group spoke.
Even now, all of them were still trying to keep it a secret.
Yet now, Wendy’s mind had long since cleared.
The more she knew about it, the more she knew that it was something surprising.
Wendy smiled and followed the men.
They took Wendy to a house. The room was not large, but one quick glance showed Wendy that it was a dressing room.
Wendy sat on a chair and let them work on her face.
It took almost half an hour before they stopped.
Wendy opened her eyes, looked at herself in the mirror, nodded her head in satisfaction and said, "Not bad."
"Thank you, Mrs. Lucas, for the compliment." The make-up artist was very happy to be complimented.
Wendy was already very good looking. She was a beauty even without makeup.
Looking at herself in the mirror with heavy makeup on, Wendy seemed to have realized something.
Then, someone brought out a wedding dress.
Now, Wendy understood completely.
Michael dragged her up early in the morning and hid it from her because he wanted to take wedding photos with her.
When she was in the small room yesterday, Wendy told Michael that there were no wedding photos of them.
Unexpectedly, he brought her here today. It seemed that Michael had taken her words to heart.
It felt good to be cared for, and Wendy felt warmth in her heart.
After changing into her wedding dress, Wendy twirled in front of the mirror for a moment.
This was her first time wearing a wedding dress. She hadn’t even tried it on before.
When she first got married, Michael hated her so much that they never had wedding pictures or anything like that.
Wendy put on the crystal shoes and the tiara before walking out of the dressing room step by step.
By this time, Michael was already waiting for her at the door.
As soon as Wendy appeared, Michael’s eyes were on her.
He walked forward with his doting eyes. He reached out and wrapped his hand around Wendy’s waist as he said, "You look as beautiful as I imagined."
At the end of the sentence, Michael dropped a kiss on Wendy’s cheek.
Wendy looked around at all the other people and coughed lightly in embarrassment before reaching out and nudging him.
"We are a legal couple, so what are you afraid of?" Michael had a proud look on his face.
By the time they got back to the beach, there were already a lot of people.
This beach was quite famous, and many people came to take wedding photos there.
Wendy saw two other couples taking pictures on one side.
Some of the tourists around slowly recognized Wendy and Michael.
"That seems to be Mr. Lucas and Mrs. Lucas."
"It’s really true. Did they come here to take wedding photos too?"
"Wow, Mr. Lucas is so handsome, and Wendy is so pretty. They look much better than they do in the photos online."
"I envy them so much. I didn’t expect to see them here today."
The voices of envy rang out all around and it made Wendy a little embarrassed.
In accordance with the photographer’s request, Wendy and Michael went to a designated location.
After taking several shots in a row, the photographer waved his hand at Wendy, looked at the camera and said, "Mrs. Lucas, lean into Mr. Lucas’ arms a little bit."
"Yes, yes, yes, lean in a little more."
With a click, the photographer smiled with satisfaction and said, "That’s a good picture."
Then the photographer said, "Next, let’s take a picture of you two kissing."
"Huh?" Wendy looked at the people around her and resisted a little as she said, "Forget it."
When the photographer saw that Wendy was embarrassed, he pointed to a couple taking pictures in the distance and said, "Look, everyone is taking pictures like this."
Wendy saw a girl standing on her tiptoes to kiss a boy.
This scene did look pretty good. But Wendy had always been shy.
"Mrs. Lucas, you can’t take wedding photos without a kiss."
"Yes, yes, don’t be shy. It will be beautiful when you take it and hang it above your bed."
"Mr. Lucas, why don’t you take the initiative?"
People from the photography team were persuasive and made Wendy embarrassed to disagree.
In the next second, Michael directly wrapped his arm around her waist, and pulled Wendy close with some force from his hand. The warm touch on Wendy’s lips made her heart skip a beat.
The photo was already taken with a click.
The photographer was very satisfied and nodded his head repeatedly as he said, "It’s so beautiful! It’s the first time I’ve taken such a beautiful wedding photo. Mr. Lucas and Mrs. Lucas are really a match made in heaven."
Wendy was curious and said, "Can I see it?"
"Of course, you can." The photographer pulled up the photos and showed them to Wendy.
In the photo, as Michael lowered his head and kissed her lips, the sunlight surrounded Michael’s head through the leaves behind him, and it seemed that the sunlight and Michael had merged into one.
The photographer’s skills were really very good.
Without the need for post-retouching and special effects, it already was beautiful.
Michael came over and kissed the side of Wendy’s face happily after looking at the photo.
The staff at the side showed envious expressions.
"Go ahead and shoot," the photographer said.
After photographing the whole morning, both Wendy and Michael were hungry.
Then, after eating, no more photos were taken.
Michael’s schedule today was to take pictures in the morning and spend the afternoon with Wendy by the beach playing around like a normal couple.
Wendy was still a little sad to change out of her wedding dress.
Michael held Wendy’s hand and walked along the beach step by step.
Their footprints were large and small. freёweɓnovel.com
The water soon flooded up and all the footprints were washed away.
Wendy and Michael happily stepped on the beach to make footprints and then stepped again after they were washed away.
The two people were like a young couple who had just started dating. They were full of passion and love.
Tired of walking, they both sat directly on the ground.
People around them came and went with their eyes on them.
Wendy saw that many people also took out their cell phones and were taking pictures of them.
Michael held Wendy’s hand and asked in a whisper, "Do you not like them taking pictures of you?"
Before Michael came, he thought about clearing the area. But he felt that after clearing the place, there would be no sense of liveliness.
There was no point for only the two of them to spend all day here. Michael was trying to hang out with Wendy like a normal couple.
Wendy smiled at their camera and said, "It’s not that I don’t like it. It’s just that I don’t feel comfortable being in the spotlight all the time because I’m not a celebrity after all."
Michael nodded and understood what Wendy meant.
As he stood up, Michael said loudly to the tourists taking pictures around him, "Hello everyone, I know you all like me and my wife a lot, and I’m grateful that you like us. If you want to take a picture with us, come and take a group photo together. But after that, I hope you won’t keep taking pictures of me and my wife with your cell phones, okay?"
As soon as Michael’s voice fell, all the people around them gathered around.
Just now, they didn’t dare to approach Wendy and Michael for fear of displeasing him. Many of them were hesitant to take the bold step of asking for a photo, but now Mr. Lucas himself had spoken up.
