In just a few dozen seconds, Lin Kuang’s Nameless blade flickered and pierced directly through the Demon Sect expert’s throat. The expert was dead in an instant. The female disciple from the Heavenly Mountain Sect looked at Lin Kuang, her eyes filled with immense gratitude. Without him, she would likely be dead by now.

"Thank you," she said.

"Don’t mention it. The crisis isn’t over yet. The battle continues," Lin Kuang replied, before charging at another Demon Sect expert.

Seeing this, the female disciple nodded and resumed her own attacks.

The battle raged on. Ferocious attacks turned the inner courtyard of the Heavenly Mountain Sect into a ruin of shattered buildings and collapsed walls, with bodies scattered everywhere. Pei Yuandong was also leading his people in a valiant fight. As the conflict persisted, people on both sides fell in rapid succession.

In about ten minutes, all the Skyline experts from the Demon Sect had been eliminated. With many of them facing two or even three opponents at once, they couldn’t withstand the assault no matter how formidable they were. Death was the only outcome.
