Chapter 670: Chapter 670: Elder Powerhouses

A terrifying power erupted from Lin Kuang’s palm, striking Han Da’s own. A horrifying scene unfolded. Han Da’s arm suddenly went limp, and his entire body quickly followed suit, until he completely dissolved into a pile of sludge. The force Lin Kuang had unleashed had shattered every bone, organ, and meridian in his body. The once arrogant and seemingly invincible Han Da died in that instant, his death as tragic as it was swift.

Seeing this, the expressions of Han Er, Han San, and Han Si froze on their faces. The three brothers stared at Lin Kuang in utter disbelief. Their eldest brother, the strongest among them, had been killed so easily. It was simply unbelievable; they couldn’t accept that what they were seeing was real.

It wasn’t just the three brothers who were shocked. Xiao Chenfeng, who had yet to make a move, found his expression growing much graver. His gaze on Lin Kuang was now filled with deep apprehension. Clearly, Lin Kuang had just revealed a fraction of his strength. This display forced Xiao Chenfeng to recognize how powerful he was and become cautious. Otherwise, if he fought Lin Kuang, he would most likely die.

Lin Kuang, however, acted as if he had done something trivial. His gaze swept over Han Er, Han San, and Han Si, his calm eyes carrying a chilling gleam that made their hearts tremble.

"Attack! Avenge our eldest brother! Kill him!" Han Er snarled through gritted teeth, his eyes turning red as they filled with a fierce killing intent.

"Charge! Do it! Avenge our brother!" Han San roared in fury.

The next moment, the three brothers charged again. This time, they were fighting with their lives on the line, willing to die as long as they took Lin Kuang down with them. They were determined to kill him.

As he watched them charge, Lin Kuang gave them a calm glance, said nothing, and made his move.

In an instant, his figure vanished from where he stood. He moved at such an incredible speed that the three Han brothers couldn’t even track his movements. By the time Han Er registered Lin Kuang’s presence, a palm had already struck his chest. Before Han Er could even cry out, Lin Kuang’s palm struck Han San’s chest. Han Si was hit almost simultaneously.

When Lin Kuang came to a stop, the three men screamed in agony, their cries erupting almost in unison. Then, all three were flung high into the air.

BANG!

The three men crashed to the ground at nearly the same time, dying on impact.

In a single moment, all four of the Han brothers were dead. Not one survived.

"No wonder you didn’t want them around. They really were useless," Lin Kuang said coolly, looking at Xiao Chenfeng.

"Tsk, tsk. You live up to your name, King of the Underworld. You’ve truly entered the Skyline of the Innate Realm!" Xiao Chenfeng said with a smile, though his heart was on high alert. Even though he was also in the Skyline Realm, Lin Kuang gave him an incredibly dangerous feeling.

"Innate? Skyline? Is that my current level of strength?" Lin Kuang asked with a frown, as he truly had no idea what his own power level was.

"Oh? You don’t know? Hasn’t your master or your family told you?" Xiao Chenfeng couldn’t help but ask, seeing that Lin Kuang’s confusion didn’t seem to be an act.

"No," Lin Kuang said, his brow furrowed. "I don’t know what Realm that is."

"It seems you’ve only just entered the Skyline of the Innate Realm. Alright, allow me to explain it to you, free of charge. You were previously in the Postnatal Realm, but now you are in the Innate Realm. The Innate Realm itself is divided into four minor stages: first is Skyline, followed by Three Flowers Gathering at the Top, Five Energies Towards The Origin, and Ninth Layer Ascent.

"There’s a saying that describes the path: ’Skyline is the foundation, then the Three Flowers gather and the Five Energies align, until all returns to one, achieving the ultimate limit of the Innate Realm.’ From what I know, experts at the Five Energies Towards The Origin stage are already exceedingly rare. As for those who achieve the state of ’returning to one,’ they are almost never seen. Anyone who has reached the absolute limit of the Innate Realm, let alone surpassed it, exists only in legends," Xiao Chenfeng explained indifferently.

Listening to Xiao Chenfeng’s words, Lin Kuang finally understood the Realm he had reached. He was now at Skyline, whereas before, he had only been in the Postnatal Realm.

"Thank you for the clarification. For that, I might consider sparing your life," Lin Kuang stated calmly.

Hearing this, Xiao Chenfeng was momentarily stunned before breaking into a smile. "King of the Underworld, I admit you’re strong. But killing me won’t be so easy." He said this with a grin, but his heart remained full of vigilance. The speed and power Lin Kuang had just displayed were far beyond that of an ordinary Skyline Ancient Warrior. Even among those in the Skyline Realm, his strength would be considered exceptional.

"Is that so? I don’t see how you have any chance of killing me. At least, not right now," Lin Kuang retorted, glancing at Xiao Chenfeng.

"That’s true. While I might not be able to kill you, I’m not the only one hunting you. You’d better be careful you don’t die at the hands of someone else," Xiao Chenfeng said with a smirk.

"Let them come. I will kill anyone who tries to kill me!" Lin Kuang spoke again, his cold words filled with murderous intent.

Just as he spoke, both men’s expressions changed. The roar of an engine echoed nearby, signaling that someone else had arrived.

The two exchanged a glance before stealthily slipping into the forest. Lin Kuang casually found a hiding spot. Xiao Chenfeng did the same, taking cover on the opposite side. They were about thirty meters apart, a safe distance for both of them.

The roar of the engine grew louder until an off-road vehicle came into view. The car door opened, and a single man stepped out. It was none other than the Chen Family’s last remaining old monster: Chen Fengyuan, the second uncle of the Chen Family Head.

Chen Fengyuan hadn’t brought anyone with him, confident that his own strength was more than enough to handle Lin Kuang. Having more people would just be a hassle. From his perspective, dealing with Lin Kuang himself was already beneath his status; bringing others along would have been far too embarrassing.

Chen Fengyuan had wanted to make his move for a while, but Lin Kuang had always been active around East Sea and the Yanjing region, which made him hesitate. As an expert from the older generation, he knew that making a move could provoke one of Lin Kuang’s own senior backers to intervene. Chen Fengyuan was wary of this possibility, which was why he had refrained from acting until now.

But now that Lin Kuang had finally left the Yanjing region for Heavenly Mountain, it was the perfect opportunity to strike. And so, he had come.
