For Gu Xi, that wouldn’t just be a minor boost in Power—it would be a whole different level of reinforcement.

Once Eve withdrew with the Blood Crown Book in hand, Gu Xi turned to look at Dietrich.

"Dietrich, dragging you over on short notice really is a hassle for you."
