Chapter 1592: Chapter 1592: Opportunity
While drinking tea, Catherine talked with Justin Kingston about the castle park to be built, discussing its area and purpose, as well as some of her ideas.
Justin looked at the men around him and then told her, "They are all renowned builders from my company, so if you have any ideas, you can discuss them in detail with them."
"That would be wonderful." Catherine always had a smile on her face, "I will arrange accommodations for them so they can draft designs here. Of course, I’ll also arrange a private room for you, as every project takes quite some time to plan in its early stages."
"Thank you." Justin said to her while drinking tea, "I will visit often, but not every day, since the company headquarters is in Riventhal, and I must handle some important matters personally, but the royal castle construction is a priority for me."
"I understand, I understand." Catherine was finally relieved. As long as he visited occasionally, she was confident in building a good relationship with him.
About an hour later, everyone had rested enough.
Justin suggested, "Princess, shall we first go and have a look at the site? It would be helpful for our builders to have a clearer vision."
"Sure."
Thus, the group stood up again and, along with Catherine and Julie, as well as her guards, they made their way outside the palace.
As they walked and talked, the conversation still centered around the project, but they noticed something rather strange.
A military truck was parked not far from the palace, with a dozen people helping to unload potted plants from the vehicle.
Most were in full bloom, their colors particularly striking in the sunlight, while some had lush foliage without flowers.
Everyone unconsciously slowed down, and Catherine was obviously puzzled.
At this moment, some servants carrying potted plants passed by, greeting politely, "Good day, Princess," before heading towards the palace.
Jocelyn thought, could this be some princess’s palace?
"Hey!" Catherine directly stopped one of the servants passing by, "What’s going on here? Why are there so many flowers being moved?"
"To answer the Princess, these all belong to Prince Louis. He went to the flower market this morning and picked out quite a few flowers to add a touch of spring to the palace."
Catherine slowly released her hold, Louis? A touch of spring?
The servant bowed to her again, "Shall I continue with my work?" Seeing that the Princess didn’t stop her, she stepped away.
From observing the expressions of Princess Catherine and Captain Julie, Jocelyn Morgan was certain that this Prince Louis was indeed Ian Shelby.
Justin had the same suspicion.
But what was he doing with so many flowers and plants?
Ian was certainly not the type to leisurely appreciate flowers, and he valued his time too much to do something meaningless. What message did these flowers convey?
Justin pondered over this.
Before the group resumed walking, Justin calmly said, "Jocelyn, don’t you also like freesias a lot?"
Jocelyn snapped back to attention and looked at him as he continued, "But you can never seem to keep them alive. Why not take this opportunity to ask Prince Louis for some tips on how to care for such plants?"
Jocelyn understood, her lips curling upward, "Alright." With that, she nodded slightly to Catherine and Julie, then headed directly towards the palace nearby.
Julie’s eyes darkened, as if intending to follow, while Catherine’s gaze settled on Justin. She spoke, "Isn’t she your assistant? During work hours, should she be doing something else?"
"She’s my assistant but also my sister," Justin replied with a gentle expression, smiling at her, "My aunt’s daughter, still in college, just interning at the company."
