Chapter 1590: Chapter 1590: Catherine’s Thoughts
Jocelyn looked at him, her heart filled with gratitude. Turning her gaze to the window, she felt a bit lost internally, "Actually, I’m more worried about his safety. Although this is his home, he hasn’t lived here for years, and enemies certainly outnumber friends around him."
"That’s why we’re here," Justin Kingston said. "So he’s not battling alone."
Jocelyn nodded; she too would do everything in her power to help him.
With CEO Kingston by her side, Jocelyn Morgan felt much more at ease.
Previously, Jocelyn always heard her brother talk about CEO Kingston’s abilities and connections. He seemed almost like a god, supporting half of Riventhal’s sky and wielding significant influence internationally.
If he wished to settle something, there was almost nothing he couldn’t handle.
"Alright, don’t worry. I’ll find a way to meet him without causing him any trouble," Justin Kingston said. "Today, our only goal is to first understand his situation and what he needs us to do."
"Mr. Kingston, he’s the Prince of Lorelei, why does he need to hide his identity in Riventhal?" Jocelyn Morgan was genuinely puzzled. "Is he not favored here? So why did they bring him back?"
"Honestly, I’m not very clear about his matters. All I know is his identity," Justin Kingston answered frankly. "I’ve already told you what I knew that day, so your questions are also my questions now."
At this moment, a man’s phone behind them rang. After glancing at the caller display, he reported, "CEO Kingston, it’s Princess Catherine."
"Answer it."
The man answered and put the phone on speaker, leaning it over as a female voice emerged, "CEO Kingston, where are you all now?"
Justin Kingston did not respond, and instead, the man spoke up, "Hello Princess, Mr. Kingston will arrive shortly."
"How many people are there in total?" asked the Princess, "So I can arrange accommodations."
"Seven," replied the man, including Jocelyn Morgan. He informed her, "Six men and one woman, our assistant also came."
But wasn’t it previously mentioned there were six men? Did they also bring a female assistant?
Catherine didn’t mind much, "Okay, I got it." But she had a thought; successful men on business trips seemed to always bring a young and beautiful female assistant. That was normal.
In the palace decorated in a modern style, Catherine ended the call, her lips couldn’t help but slightly curve upward as she looked at her close confidante nearby, "He came so quickly, it just shows he’s attentive to this project."
Julie, with her calm demeanor, spoke, "Princess, being attentive to the project doesn’t mean he’s attentive to you. He’s merely a businessman."
"Yes, he’s a businessman," Catherine chuckled. "So I understand what businessmen want. Their priority is profit. To build this castle park, I can offer him double the money."
Julie remained calm, "He’s not an ordinary businessman; he’s Justin Kingston. There’s no way we’ll lead him by the nose just because of money."
"Exactly because he’s not an ordinary businessman that he could assist us. I wouldn’t bother with an ordinary businessman."
Catherine had long made plans, "Justin Kingston has branches in Lorelei. As long as we befriend him, we can offer him many policy benefits."
Julie slowly looked at the Princess and fell into contemplation.
Catherine smiled and said, "With his support, our power here is instantly fortified. No need to fear Eden."
But Julie and Catherine both knew that with Prince Louis’ backing, Eden’s influence was not to be underestimated.
As long as Prince Louis ascends the throne, Eden will be in a position of supreme power, and Taylor is bound to have a tough time.
This is why Catherine was hastily trying to win over Justin Kingston.
