Chapter 1550: Chapter 1550: Contact Finn Morgan

Early in the morning, the world was covered in white snow.

Janelle Mills called Trevor, "Hey, the snow is too deep, not easy to drive, I’m walking over."

"Where are you now?" Trevor hurriedly glanced out into the yard but still hadn’t seen anyone. He grabbed the car keys and headed out.

A few minutes later, Trevor’s car stopped beside Janelle. The tires were covered in snow, and Janelle, standing in the snow, looked at him, feeling touched and couldn’t help but smile.

She opened the car door and sat in the passenger seat, "Thank you for picking me up!" She stuck out her legs to shake off the thick snow on her boots.

"If driving conditions are bad, you should have called me earlier, I could have picked you up from home and you wouldn’t have to walk so far unnecessarily." Trevor was not blaming her, just concerned.

Janelle pulled her legs back in, closed the car door, and turned to look at him, "It’s alright, isn’t that what legs are for, walking? Besides, driving is really unsafe, the snow is too thick, you can’t see the road at all."

"I remember the road, I’m an experienced driver." Trevor began to turn the car around, "Did Auntie Sterling say anything when you got home last night?"

"No." Janelle was curious, "No idea what Dad talked with her about for two hours, she hasn’t revealed a thing."

"Whatever they talked about, knowing your mom’s personality, managing to keep Uncle Mills there for two hours is not easy, I bet the reconciliation will happen soon." Trevor was confident, "Let’s keep working hard."

"That would be really wonderful, my biggest wish in life is about to come true! I have to plan a grand wedding for them!" Janelle’s spirits were high, many lovely images flickering through her mind.

After a while, she turned to ask, "How’s Jocelyn? Was she uncomfortable last night?"

"Even if she was uncomfortable, wasn’t there a doctor with her?" Trevor wasn’t worried at all, "I don’t know, I just got up."

"The Morgan family elders haven’t contacted us yet?" Janelle asked, "Should we call them? They must be a little anxious after being out of touch for a night."

"Let’s check on Jocelyn first and decide."

"Okay."

The car quickly drove into the yard, Trevor led Janelle towards the living room, their footprints shallow and deep in the snow.

At this moment, Ian Shelby and Jocelyn Morgan just came downstairs. She was holding a bowl of sober-up tea. Actually, after a sleep, she felt much better, but Ian insisted she drink a bowl.

After entering, they exchanged greetings, Ian and Jocelyn thanked Trevor.

Seeing Jocelyn in good condition, Trevor asked her, "Send your brother your location to let him know you’re safe? You didn’t go home last night, they must be worried."

Jocelyn held the tea bowl, thought for a moment, then nodded; she couldn’t just leave home without a word, eventually she would have to contact her family.

"You drink your tea, I’ll send it." With her consent, Trevor sent Finn Morgan a message, who quickly replied, saying he’d come over to pick her up soon.

"Mr. Trevor, breakfast is ready." Miss Hollis’s voice came over, she smiled at everyone, "Good morning, everyone. Good morning, Miss Mills." The house hadn’t been this lively for a while.

"Good morning." Janelle smiled gently.

Trevor led everyone toward the dining room, "Then let’s have breakfast first."

As they entered the dining room, the rich aroma of chicken soup filled the air. Miss Hollis prepared four bowls, scooping over half a bowl for each person and placed them in front of them.

"Thank you."

"You’re welcome."

After Miss Hollis returned to the kitchen, everyone started eating breakfast, Trevor was calm while drinking the soup. freēwēbηovel.c૦m

Janelle took a sip and looked up, "Why isn’t there any salt in this?"
