Chapter 119: Chapter 119: Ape Cavalry, Charge

Kuafu’s voice trembled with excitement.

Over the past few days, his greatest fear had been that Shen Feng would disappear, rendering their agreement null and void.

The Brain Apes would be but a fleeting marvel in the Stone Statue Apocalypse. After their generation perished, all primates would once again descend into an eternal state of ignorance and despair.

But now, the sound of Shen Feng’s voice instantly proved one thing to him: everything he had said about the Origin World he came from was true!

Kuafu struggled to suppress his excitement and said:

"Savior, I have been awaiting your summons. Please, give me your orders."

’This is the first mission the Brain Ape Race has received from Shen Feng. We must succeed. Only then can we ensure a long-term partnership and receive his help with genetic medicine!’

Shen Feng’s voice sounded again:

"Good. I need one thousand Ape Cavalry to annihilate an enemy. I will open a Space Wormhole so you can enter my world and come to me.

However, your entry is time-limited. You only have thirty minutes. If you remain longer than half an hour, you will be instantly disintegrated. Remember this."

Kuafu’s eyes widened in disbelief.

’We can enter the Savior’s world!’

’If so, I’ll be able to see what the Savior’s world is actually like, and I can judge the truth of his promises for myself once more!’

The fate of the entire Brain Ape Race was now tied to Shen Feng, and Kuafu could only hope that his new ally was as powerful as possible.

Kuafu’s expression instantly turned grim. He said:

"Mr. Shen, rest assured, the Ape Race will not disappoint you... We also have two heavy armored vehicles that can provide support..."

BANG! Kuafu abruptly pulled the trigger, firing a shot into the sky as he commanded loudly:

"The Savior needs us! Ape Cavalry, Squads One through Ten, prepare to ride out with me! Armored vehicles, move out!"

The gunshot instantly startled a nearby herd of bison, sending them scattering in all directions.

But the Brain Apes’ faces were lit with ecstasy!

They had long heard from Kuafu how important this Savior was to them, and they knew he had once saved their leader’s life.

They had always looked forward to the day they would meet the Savior, and they never expected it to come so soon!

For the survival of their people, for the glory of the Ape Race, they would fight for the Savior!

As for sacrifice?

’Everything for the Ape Race!’

Soon, the small white point of light before Kuafu expanded into a Space Wormhole about five meters in diameter, revealing a dilapidated highway on the other side.

"For the Savior!" Kuafu roared, his expression solemn as he raised his arm. He then spurred his horse onward, the first to charge through the Wormhole.

Behind him, squad after squad of exuberant Ape Cavalry spurred their mounts, pouring through in a steady stream, followed by the two armored vehicles!

On the wide main thoroughfare of Wuyou Town, Shen Feng stood before the massive Space Wormhole.

When he saw the one-eyed ape, fully armed, holding a rifle, and riding a warhorse, emerge from the Wormhole, Shen Feng couldn’t help but crack a small smile. He said:

"Welcome."

Upon seeing Shen Feng, Kuafu’s lips curled into a slight smile as well. He bowed to Shen Feng from horseback and said:

"Battle is imminent, Mr. Shen. Forgive me for not dismounting."

Shen Feng nodded and said:

"The enemy has seventy vehicles, two grenade launchers, and three rocket launchers, with a total of about three hundred men just outside of town. Leave a few of them alive."

Kuafu nodded and said:

"Rest assured. I will end this battle within fifteen minutes."

Behind him, squad after squad of well-trained Ape Cavalry spurred their mounts into attack formations. Aside from the thundering hooves and the roar of the heavy armored vehicles, the one thousand Ape Cavalry were utterly silent, without a single whisper among them.

Yet, their eyes were filled with fervent zeal as they looked at Shen Feng.

’To lead them through a Space Wormhole into another world—this was nothing short of a miracle!’

’How could they not stand in awe of the Savior’s power!’

And as Kuafu observed Shen Feng and this new world, Shen Feng was, in turn, observing the Ape Race and the Space Wormhole.

’It seems passing through the Space Wormhole involves some kind of radiation or energy that instantly sterilizes travelers, killing off any pathogens they might be carrying.’

’But the energy required to maintain a Space Wormhole must be absolutely immense. After all, this isn’t just a wormhole between planets in the same cosmos, but one connecting two Parallel Cosmoses!’

’According to the law of conservation of energy, when matter and energy from a Parallel Cosmos enter this one, there must be a corresponding exchange.’

’And yet, the temporary appearance of the Ape Cavalry doesn’t seem to require such an exchange...’

’The entity behind the True Apocalypse Game seems far more powerful than I imagined.’

’And it seems to be growing, getting stronger as I discover the origins of these apocalypses and resolve their crises...’

’But even though I have no leads right now, I believe that as I grow stronger over time, I will eventually find the answers...’

Soon, one thousand Ape Cavalry and two heavy armored vehicles had assembled on the main road of Wuyou Town. Bristling with an assortment of firearms, they radiated a palpable killing intent.

The Ape Race needed their Savior’s help, so the Savior’s enemies were their enemies—enemies they hated to the very bone!

By now, Jingwei had already blocked all satellite surveillance over the area, ensuring complete secrecy.

Kuafu looked to Shen Feng, his eyes asking for the signal.

Shen Feng gave a slight nod.

Kuafu immediately raised his rifle and waved it forward. freewёbnoνel.com

The one thousand Ape Cavalry and two armored vehicles immediately split into two columns, surging like a black tide along the curved roads leading out of town!

...

Outside Wuyou Town, a line of SUVs and pickup trucks had come to a halt, among them several modified military jeeps.

A group of mercenaries in desert camouflage had disembarked, forming up in tactical formations. Over thirty ten-man squads assembled, rifles at the ready, preparing to storm the town.

According to their intel, there was only one enemy, and their boss was inside the town.

As long as they eliminated this enemy, a huge sum of money would be wired to their accounts—enough to set them up for life.

They were elite soldiers, formerly of the infamous Blackwater Company, now attached to Faulkner’s Snake Eye Mercenary Company. They would do just about anything for a price, and this job was a cakewalk.

"Chief, there’s only one guy in there. Three hundred of us to kill one person? Isn’t that overkill?" a mercenary asked, racking the bolt of his rifle. He spoke to a man beside him wearing a red bandana.

The man was none other than the second-in-command of the Snake Eye Mercenary Company, "Tank" Chuck.

Chuck’s eyes narrowed. "What the hell do you know? These are the boss’s orders. If he misses his five-minute check-in, we move in immediately and hunt the target."

At the same time, he cursed inwardly:

’Faulkner, you idiot. Did you really think you could kill the Antichrist all by yourself and claim all the glory? You fool... Because of your arrogance, the Antichrist will now be my prey, and I will be the one to witness the glory of the Final Judgment!’

The top leaders within the Snake Eye Mercenary Company were all members of the Purification Society.

The company itself wasn’t large, and nearly all of its domestic elite operatives were present.

Chuck exchanged "happy hunting" glances with several mid-level commanders. With a wave of his hand, he was about to lead the mercenaries into Wuyou Town behind a few armored jeeps.

Just then, the ground began to tremble faintly, and a low, rumbling sound, like distant thunder, echoed in the air.

’Is that... the sound of a stampede? Are there ranchers around here?’

As Chuck wondered, one of his men suddenly screamed in terror, "Mon... Monkeys!"

Chuck whipped his head around. On both sides of Wuyou Town, on their flanks, a heavy armored vehicle and a dark mass of cavalry were charging toward them at high speed!

And riding the horses were... apes!
