Chapter 1135: Chapter 460: Pale Moon_2
Because the entire ritual is indeed related to the moon.
"Alright, alright, let’s not talk about this anymore. The most important part of the ritual has yet to begin."
Seeing everyone’s bored expressions, Chadite said with a smile.
Alka waved his hand directly, and a wide Mirror floated at everyone’s feet. Everyone boarded it.
Alka controlled the Mirror, and a blue-green Wind Card appeared beside him.
Making the entire Mirror fly quickly through the sky, like a Magic Carpet.
"Do you feel anything?"
Hearing Alka’s question, Chadite shook his head with a frown.
"I don’t feel anything, no change at all, except for an additional pattern here."
Saying this, Chadite pointed to his left eye, where a white crescent moon mark was imprinted on his cheek.
Upon hearing this, Alka looked at him, then touched the mark on her face without any sensation.
"It’s hard to say there’s no change, your aura seems to have transformed a bit, hmm... more charming?"
Alka thought about it and said.
Sitting on Alka’s shoulder, Lucilia nodded at these words, and the others couldn’t help but start chatting.
Just as Alka said, it seemed really like such a change.
But this change obviously does not match the conditions of the entire ritual and the required materials.
This ritual was evidently prepared for that Treasure.
...
After a few days of rapid flight, even taking detours, Alka and his team quickly reached the previous campsite.
And their makeshift camp from before had long turned into ruins.
It seemed to be the doing of some wild beast.
Without lingering much.
They went directly to the ruins of the temple they had left behind before.
"I can feel it."
As soon as they arrived, Chadite immediately sensed something different, and the crescent mark on her face flickered with a very faint white light.
It was nighttime at the moment, but the night sky had returned to its usual state.
Having said that, Chadite proceeded directly into the ruins.
Alka and his team followed closely behind, a few individuals joined by a crowd of Puppet Girls with clattering footsteps.
They bypassed the ruins and headed directly to the statue they had seen before.
Chadite stood beside the statue, gently closed her eyes, then slightly lifted her hands.
There was no special effect or anything peculiar. The statue in front simply began to slide slowly.
The entire statue moved backward, revealing a stairway leading down before them.
"Is there a space below?"
The inquiry naturally came from Chadite, who had investigated this area previously.
She had previously inspected the area thoroughly, finding only solid earth below, without any spaces. Yet, now, there was indeed a stairway entrance leading downward.
She had not even discovered this stairway entrance earlier.
Silver ripples manifested before the group, very clearly undulating toward the stairway entrance.
With each ripple, Chadite’s expression grew a bit surprised.
"Amazing, it couldn’t be scanned at all, it just feels like earth."
They had never come across such a phenomenon before.
"Let’s go down and have a look," Alka said.
With that, the group slightly repositioned themselves, descending the stairs together.
The descent was not long, yet it was clear the stairway led them approximately seven or eight meters underground.
Upon reaching the bottom, a vast, empty area appeared before their eyes.
The entire area emitted a gentle, soft glow, allowing them to clearly observe the surroundings without using Dark Vision.
It was roughly the size of a football field.
Aside from the central columns, the vast expanse seemed eerily barren and empty.
"It seems... it’s not fully constructed yet?" Simon remarked after surveying the area briefly.
Whether it was the half-carved statues or the various instruments aligned, everything implied that the site was still under construction.
They even saw piles of materials stacked in a nearby corner, along with various tools strewn about.
However, within the grounds, there was one area that was completed, located at the far end.
On an altar.
A sphere radiating a gentle, soft glow floated there lightly.
The group exchanged glances and slowly approached the altar.
As they drew closer, they realized it was not a sphere but a crescent-shaped object, roughly the size of a palm.
The material of the ornament couldn’t be discerned, somewhat resembling crystal, and a bit like jade.
The luminous sphere was caused by the gathering of light emitted by it, which then dispersed again.
In Alka’s eyes, the crescent was encased by an orange border.
This was the Treasure they needed.
Driven by curiosity, Simon reached out to touch it.
Alka immediately stopped him.
"Don’t touch it, there are still protection measures here."
Referring to the light sphere emitted by the crescent.
After saying this, he turned to Chadite.
The meaning was clear.
Chadite took a deep breath. She slowly reached her hand out, gently touching the surface of the light sphere.
She wasn’t attacked, and then reassured, she reached inside, grasping the crescent and taking it out.
