Chapter 1124: Chapter 456: Acquiring Information_3
A brilliant Giant Dragon silhouette streaked across the sky, and Jason jumped down from it and asked.
"Weren’t you supposed to be clearing out those rats at the back?" Alka asked, looking at Jason beside him.
"I have to come back to handle new intelligence and take some supplies, don’t I?" Jason said with a smile.
Hearing this, Alka nodded and then pointed at the distant Cyclops.
"Quickly, now, kill those damned giants immediately."
"Aye, Captain!"
After saying this, Jason shouted to Ulu Liwus, who was flying in the sky and spewing energy towards the demons everywhere: "Ulu Liwus, fusion! Captain’s orders!"
After speaking, the dragon in the sky and Jason transformed into light spots, merging together.
This marked their first appearance.
The soldiers around them saw the scene, so they knew that beautiful creature was on their side.
As the light spots flickered out, a huge dragon-shaped monster appeared in the sky.
Seeing this monster, all the soldiers became tense.
Then this extravagant and powerful monster expressed itself through its actions.
Upon fusion, it already had two dragon heads, and the two heads simultaneously reached back.
The gathered energy was directly ejected.
A brilliant seven-colored beam shot out, instantly freezing a Cyclops demon in place in the distance.
With a flicker, its tail gathered an exaggerated crystal sphere, which was thrown out with great force, hitting the frozen Cyclops demon in the distance.
The sound of shattering glass echoed across the battlefield.
In everyone’s eyes, the giant Cyclops demon turned into crystal shards.
Subsequently, the enormous Dragonman began to rampage across the battlefield.
Starting to massively clear those demons of mediocre strength, clearing out area after area.
"Cover him!"
Some commanders saw this situation and immediately shouted.
Powerful warriors began to use various Treasures to shield Jason.
After all, the two’s fusion resulted in an overly large size; although agile, its huge size made it easy for demons to focus fire on it.
Many demons had begun attacking Jason, trying to restrict his actions and claim his head as a very valuable war trophy.
With everyone’s coverage, Jason only needed to dodge slightly, allowing him to rampage across the battlefield, quickly easing the pressure there.
He’s like a bulldozer.
But such methods can only be used temporarily.
Using them too often will lead demons to employ targeted tactics to stop him, as being large often means being more easily harmed.
Just like the demons’ Heavy Hammer Demon and the Cyclops demon now throwing afar.
Alka looked at the two remaining Cyclops demons in the distance.
Just as he was preparing to gather energy to eliminate one, a blue meteor streaked across the sky.
In the blink of an eye, it rushed towards the distant Cyclops demon.
"Ha!"
A proud shout sent a Cyclops demon flying backward.
Its huge body slammed against the base of the city wall, crushing a large group of demons.
It became a temporary barrier in front of the city wall, blocking part of the demons’ path.
And when the Cyclops demon arrived, its head had disappeared, leaving only the neck’s broken part that kept spewing lava-like blood.
In the distance, the blue meteor had already begun attacking another demon, but this time, her attack was blocked.
Various Shields layered upon each other were wrapped around the Cyclops demon.
Even with Chadite’s formidable power, it couldn’t be blown apart with a punch.
Moreover, in this dangerous rear, she couldn’t fully stop her speed to convert it into power. That would be far too dangerous, essentially making herself a temporary target.
Seeing the second attack failing and more rear-support demons targeting her, she quickly turned back into a blue meteor.
The meteor stopped on top of the city wall, transforming into Chadite’s figure.
It seems Chadite has returned as well.
At this point, only one Cyclops demon remained, whose attack could easily be neutralized by Alka, no longer posing any threat to the fortress.
At most, it merely restricted some of Alka’s actions.
"How is the support process going?" Alka asked Chadite with a smile.
"Not bad, but it seems the battle here is really intense."
Chadite looked at the massive amount of demon corpses below the city wall and the demons continuously coming for support from behind.
The demon blood forming molten lava flowed and gathered below, appearing extremely brutal.
Some demons below continued walking and eating.
Here, the Abyss’s aura was so dense it was hard to breathe.
Exchanging a few pleasantries, they once again joined the battle.
With Jason and Chadite’s addition,
the pressure on the front battlefield decreased significantly.
...
Night.
Although the demons outside still continued the siege, Alka and his group had been switched out.
They could take a short break since they had stood against the most intense assaults all day.
The few resting inside the small Round Tower suddenly heard knocking on the door.
"Master Alka, this is something from Lady Matilda."
The soldier handed over the item to Alka and quickly left.
"Sent by Matilda?"
While speaking, Alka looked towards the Puppet Girl in the room, casually picking up one of the Puppet Girls by the door.
"Lu Yi, ask your sisters beside Matilda."
The Puppet Girl that was picked up nodded and quickly communicated with her distant sisters.
Then she said, "Matilda said this is the Moon Worship Sect’s scripture you need and the journals of previous survivors."
Hearing this, Alka looked at the item in his hands and opened the package.
Inside was a somewhat worn but well-preserved black book.
On the book’s cover, one could see a metal moon emblem, uncertain about the material used to create it.
Besides that, there was nothing else, making it appear very succinct.
Nearby were several small booklets with severe wear marks from reading, evidently journals.
Chadite and the others also leaned in.
"Everyone take a look, see if there’s anything noteworthy."
Alka said, distributing the books.
He also added, "Be careful; Matilda lent these, and they must be returned to others."
Saying this, he opened the Moon Worship Scripture in his hand.
Preparing to examine it carefully.
