"You okay?"

"What happened?"
Qin Yuheng gave the short version.
"Seal trap. Three students caught. Hooded figure escaped toward inner boundary. Blood Sun token found earlier. Trap seemed designed to test bloodline reaction."
Yu Qingmei’s expression turned cold.
"Blood Sun?"
Han Shuren’s face hardened.
Academy guards secured the area.
The rescued students were taken away for treatment.
Yu Qingmei looked directly at Qin Yuheng.
"Did the seal affect you?"
"Yes."
"How severely?"
"Manageable. I suppressed the reaction."
Her eyes sharpened at the word reaction, but she did not ask more in front of others.
"Your team returns to command point. Now."
Qin Yuheng did not argue.
On the way back, Qin Mo whispered, "That was not just bait."

"Yes."

"Did it?"

No one spoke.
When they returned to command point, Yu Qingmei ended the student portion of the mission early. Several instructor teams remained to investigate, but all students were withdrawn from the ruin.
Zhao Tianyu looked confused.
Zhao Lan looked too calm.
Lin Xian’er watched everyone silently.
