Chapter 1882: Chapter 1882: The Eighth Seraphim VS Eye of Darkness (Part 23)

Unless...

Gu Shengyin once again guessed about the Balance of Light and Darkness.

She had a vague suspicion about this, but wasn’t certain.

After thinking for a while, Gu Shengyin suddenly asked, "System, does this world have an original storyline?"

The system shook its head.

Gu Shengyin asked again, "What about Skill Extraction?"

The system continued shaking its head, "Due to transmission failure in this world, the host doesn’t have the Golden Finger of Skill Extraction."

Gu Shengyin: "..."

So what exactly is she supposed to do?

The system immediately continued, "I cannot appear frequently in this world; the Creator God’s power is too strong, I’m afraid He might detect my presence."

Gu Shengyin nodded to show her understanding.

After the system and Gu Shengyin exchanged a few words, it returned to silence.

Gu Shengyin stayed alone in the palace for a while and decided... to earn the favor of God!

Although she was quite sure that, compared to other living beings in this world, she had already made her presence known enough.

But who knows what might happen in the future?

The system’s task for her was not to become The Fallen; Gu Shengyin always felt it couldn’t be that simple.

Most angels become The Fallen because they violated the rules of Heaven, their hearts were contaminated, and they could no longer stay in Heaven.

Such falls are mostly the choices of the angels themselves.

Then, could one be forced to become The Fallen?

Gu Shengyin thought to herself.

She came to the entrance of the Great Cathedral.

"God." She called softly.

"Gallia?" God looked in confusion at the silver-haired Seraphim.

Her face was still beautiful, yet her expression seemed shrouded in a thin layer of confusion.

This side of Gallia was indeed rare.

Gu Shengyin walked straight towards the Divine Throne.

God did not stop her.

Gu Shengyin, familiar with the process, came before the Divine Throne.

She knelt, as she had done before, resting her head on the divinities’ knee.

Completely dependent and fragile.

"God, I’m so lost." She spoke quietly.

God’s gaze fell on her long silver hair.

She wore a headpiece signifying her identity as a Seraphim, a delicate gem chain, yet it couldn’t outshine Gallia’s own glow.

God did not speak, but waited for Gu Shengyin to continue.

"I don’t know what I’m afraid of, but there’s always unease here." She pressed over her heart.

There was a warmth on her head.

Gu Shengyin looked up in surprise, it was God who had gently placed a hand on her head.

God looked down at her, "Do not worry, Gallia. I am here."

Though it was just a simple sentence, Gu Shengyin felt as if she had received some powerful reassurance and smiled.

She quietly closed her eyes.

Being beside God always brought her heart extraordinary peace.

"Fell asleep?" A low voice echoed in the Great Cathedral.

Even God hadn’t expected that there could be an angel falling asleep in His presence.

He lowered His head, looking at the half-revealed side of Gallia’s face, filled with tranquility and trust.

God looked at her face for a moment, then moved His hand, preparing to place her elsewhere.

But before He could move, the figure on His knee suddenly called out softly, "God..."

God waited a moment, but hearing nothing further, realized she was only talking in her sleep.

Even in Gallia’s dreams, there was Him.

This realization put the divinities in a very good mood.
