[Chapter Size: 2500 Words.]
Third Person POV
Aretuza.
...
...
At Aretuza, at the same time that Madara was destroying the capital of the elves, Ciri felt that something had changed in the middle of the battlefield.
And suddenly, a new group appeared at the entrance that she had kept blocked with a magical barrier from before.
At the same time, she knew she had to focus on the fights in all places to protect her companions, but she kept her senses there.
Almost everyone had already managed to get out… well, almost everyone. While she, Yennefer and Triss fought together to destroy all the gostos coming out of a portal, Madara's clones still managed to give them room to breathe, while some of them also joined Tissaia and the others fighting elsewhere.
Nearby, an ice dog walked across the tables where the meeting organization had placed wines to be served. Under one of the tables was none other than Dandelion, trying to get away from the ice creature that was trying to bite him, while he offered his lute for the creature to bite instead of him.
"Hey! Some help here!" he began exclaiming in that tone of fear of his. "This thing just ate my lute! Someone help me!!"
This made Ciri look for a moment before shaking her head. Ciri then acted, teleporting directly there and cutting the creature in half with a strike.
Before Dandelion could react, he was pulled by Ciri's hand out of there. "You should have left with the others!" she said to him.
"Sorry, I thought it would make a good song..." he said with an awkward smile.
Ciri just clicked her tongue at the fool. "I'll take you somewhere safe," she said, simply opening a green portal for him and throwing him in, as he disappeared without even being able to say anything.
She saw Geralt having difficulty, being surrounded, and advanced like a green shooting star. She began cutting down numerous soldiers in just a few movements, freeing her father, who thanked her before running to another side.
Ciri was heading to deal with a group pressing forward, moved to another point to help, but in the next moment she saw that group she had sensed before finally appear at the door.
They stared directly at her. There was someone without armor, which was new, an elf wearing a mage's robe different from the others stood at the front of all.
They were there for her.
"So be it," she said, leaning slightly forward as energy began to overflow from her body. Then she dashed forward.
But, just as she was about to hit him, the elf opened a field, and Ciri suddenly felt trapped, surprised, unable to move in a kind of magic that bound her body before she could move the sword to kill him.
"Your powers are magnificent, but you cannot seek your full potential. Unfortunately, only an elf can release your potential," he said with a tone full of pity, as if the power she had was with someone unworthy of it.
"Shut up..." Ciri clenched her teeth, she began to glow.
The elf was surprised when suddenly, Ciri began to slip out of her restraint, moving back and in an instant stopping in the same position she had been before.
"Wait, time?!" Avallac'h couldn't help but be stunned, with her bending time?!
He and the other elves could barely remain very surprised when Ciri attacked again, but instead of going for them, she moved like lightning to the side of the group and advanced in the next moment toward the same elf, trying to catch him in a blind spot.
Avallac'h was quick not to be killed as he raised his hand to protect himself from the attack and cast another spell that stopped her.
She was trapped again, gritting her teeth as she tried to break free from her imprisonment by force, instead of going back in time again.
Ciri's fight against this new group did not go unnoticed by everyone else. Yennefer and Triss quickly acted, while other mages from the group also attacked, Yennefer struck with lightning and Triss with fire, with the enemy mages having to create shields to protect themselves from the humans' attacks.
"Release her!" Geralt also appeared with his sword in hand, advancing.
The largest man of the group with a hammer advanced and stood in front of Geralt, preventing him from continuing to reach Ciri, still trapped in Avallac'h's spell trying to break it.
Imlerith wasted no time as he moved his weapon against the witcher, who dodged, before making a sign and pushing him with telekinesis, but not very far.
Imlerith seemed to growl inside his helmet. "You will not pass me, mutant." the elf replied.
"Get out of my way!" Geralt growled and attacked.
Avallac'h approached Ciri, still keeping her trapped. She forced her magic even more, but as she thought she was going to manage to free herself, the elf pressed her even more.
Suddenly, she began to feel her energy from her body draining away, becoming surprised.
"As I said, you do not have full control over that power," the elf said categorically.
"Fuck you!" Ciri growled, seeming even unable to make a time movement due to some restriction that Avallac'h placed on her at that moment.
Then, two kunai advanced through the air, passing through the middle of the fight between Geralt and Imlerith, while at the same time going through the spells as if it were perfectly calculated to pass through time and went straight toward Avallac'h.
The elf seemed to respond quickly as he created a small shield to deflect them. His eyes went to the knives as he noticed the small sphere attached to the back of those strange throwing knives. In the next instant, they began to catch small flames.
An explosion of smoke made Avallac'h step back, as he noticed more danger coming. He knew that Ciri was no longer within his reach, and he began to defend himself from the other attacks, which clearly had the intention of killing him. At the same time, the kunai, upon reflecting off the shield he had just created, began to catch fire.
In the next moment, the kunai exploded.
Avallac'h appeared at a distance, his cloak slightly damaged by flames, but he was perfectly fine. Even so, he did not stop looking seriously at the various clones of Madara that surrounded him.
Ciri appeared at a distance, a bit out of breath, as she recovered slightly, talking beside one of her husband's clones.
"Leave him to me. Help Geralt and the others. You can eliminate them easily. That man who is giving Geralt trouble is dangerous, it's better to kill him. He is one of Eredin's commanders," said the clone.
Madara noticed by the size — not all elves had that posture and build. It should be Imlerith, that cruel bastard who killed Vesemir.
Ciri nodded and ran toward Geralt, fighting using her signs.
"So you are Avallac'h," one of the clones said, making the sage himself raise an eyebrow.
"You know me? That should not be possible. Perhaps the minds you violated, of course..." Even if he had clones of him in the other world, it was still hard to believe that would be the reason. So knowing that Madara could extract information from the minds of the most protected elves, it would be more obvious to believe that.
"Perhaps," Madara replied, picking up a kunai and spinning it in his hand, assuming a fighting stance, just like all the clones around him, who were already ready to fight against Avallac'h.
"You are certainly powerful. We never imagined there would be someone so strong, even more so together with the descendant of Lara Dorren. We would leave her alone if it were other times, but we need her." Avallac'h spoke with a somewhat serious tone. Perhaps giving justification for his actions.
"Spare me," Madara replied, with disdain. "You sages believe that we should all be grateful for her existence, just because she possesses the blood of a rebel who fled from you a few centuries ago. She is not your property." He paused, before releasing the sharingan.
"She not only has nothing to do with you, but she is also my wife. And even if I have to exterminate your entire race, I will not allow anyone to lay a hand on her," Madara said coldly.
"You have no idea what I am capable of. If you took her, I would be able to reach your world… and all I would cause there would be nothing but destruction."
Then, he advanced.
Outside Aretuza, Madara was inside the crystal of the complete susanoo destroying the last ships.
He no longer saw any portal being opened on the side, so he destroyed the remaining ships easily.
He then decided to deal with the wind, first he put away the sword, then his colossal susanoo began to form hand seals.
He exhaled a gale over the entire storm, pushing the snow to the opposite side immediately.
In the next moment, all the snow began to move away, making Aretuza once again free from that storm. The wind, very strong, also damaged the place even more, beyond what the snow itself had already done, with windows breaking all over the school and roof tiles flying away.
In the end, the snow fell into the sea water and the hurricane that surrounded the magic school disappeared, leaving only a few particles in the air, with no more sign of the storm.
Madara disappeared from the crystal of the susanoo and reappeared inside the banquet hall, completely destroyed due to so many battles, but still in the middle of the fights against that last group that had arrived.
The complete Susanoo had already disappeared outside like fire going out, leaving only a few particles before vanishing completely.
Ciri and Geralt were fighting against Imlerith, beginning to gain the advantage. Even so, Ciri seemed a bit weakened. Madara did not know the reason, since the clone had not sent the memories. Meanwhile, that same clone was fighting against Avallac'h, something that made Madara narrow his eyes when he saw him.
A warrior with skeletal armor advanced toward him, but Madara simply created a Chidori in his hand, with purple lightning, and cut the enemy's neck, piercing through the armor with ease, leaving him agonizing as he moved forward.
He saw Yennefer, Triss, Keira and other sorceresses also fighting, while he cut his way through, passing through the middle of spells with ease due to his agility. In seconds, the soldiers fell, and he advanced directly toward the mages.
He saw Avallac'h gaining the advantage over his clone from the corner, until he managed to destroy it with a spell creating a kind of black hole, without the clone being able to react. The memories came right after, and Madara understood what was happening.
Avallac'h, a bit tired, was surprised when Madara reappeared using Hiraishin right in front of him due to having kunai with them near him there. He had no time to react when he was hit by a Rasengan directly in the stomach, being launched against the wall, which exploded with the impact. Madara did not want to kill him.
A scream sounded as Madara saw Ciri cutting Imlerith's leg. He faltered, screaming in pain.
"You bastards! Damned humans!" he roared, taking a step back, while Geralt advanced. Imlerith tried to attack him with his weapon, but Geralt moved away and advanced again.
He was already finished.
Madara watched Avallac'h getting up, spitting blood with internal damage caused by the rasengan. Not even a sage like him managed to react to the teleport and attack — it was obvious that it was not far beyond what the elf could react to.
The sorceresses also stopped to watch. All the invading elves were dead. The place was filled with corpses on all sides. Some, sorcerers and sorceresses had fallen in the fight, but most managed to survive.
"Avallac'h, it seems things didn't end very well for you tonight, but they seem like they're going to get worse." Madara began, walking toward the elf at the destroyed wall. "Don't you find it strange that there are no more portals open? As if Eredin had abandoned you..."
Those words made the elf frown. There really were no more portals opening… not when there was still an entire army in the other world preparing to enter.
"Let me tell you something, Avallac'h. I sent a clone to your world with the intention of destroying the army. It seems it worked," Madara mocked.
Madara penetrated the elf's mind at that moment, while Avallac'h could do nothing, feeling Madara beginning to gather everything he had learned in his centuries of life: his experiences, likes, dislikes, knowledge, magic, and secrets.
But suddenly, something emerged in his mind and his genjutsu failed.
Madara's head began to hurt somehow.
"What is happening?" he murmured, not understanding. That was not caused by Avallac'h, and the use of the sharingan even made him kneel.
Seeing a chance to escape, Avallac'h teleported to Imlerith. He was still trying to retreat with Geralt already on top of him, about to try to remove his armor. Geralt was surprised when Avallac'h appeared and grabbed Imlerith, teleporting again and disappearing.
Geralt tried to reach him, but it was too late.
Ciri looked at that, finding it strange, and turned her attention back to Madara, who was pressing his head before kneeling.
Madara, still in pain, looked at his hands, and they began to become transparent.
"What is happening?" he said.
A system message came right after: [Error: existential limit reaching its end.]
"What do you mean by that?" Madara could not understand. Where was that coming from?
"Madara! What is happening?" Ciri grabbed him, while seeing his clones beginning to fall apart all around due to the problems the original was having.
"I don't know," he said. "I can't understand where this is coming from."
At the same time, a glow appeared in the hall, and suddenly, a unicorn appeared before everyone — especially before Madara and Ciri.
"Wait… you are the same Unicorn from my dreams!" Ciri exclaimed, hugging Madara while staring at the unicorn.
"It is good to see you, child. But we do not have much time."
"What do you mean?" Madara raised his head. That was too much of a coincidence.
"Your existence is in danger, young human, because the moment has come when the Child of Destiny will have to make her choice," she announced.
Ciri's eyes widened as she remembered the words she had been hearing constantly over the past months, even if she could not fully remember them or the dreams.
Raccoon Here:
I left Avallac'h alive because I want them to see what happened to their world, they will settle things later, because now the timeskip arc will begin, traveling through worlds after Ciri travels through time, to the destruction of the Uchiha clan.
Would you like to see me posting them going to the worlds or should I just skip 2 or 3 years ahead?
