Chapter 215: Chapter 215: A Complicated Situation
With a roar, the wooden houses collapsed to the ground.
One evil pirate after another lay in pools of blood, their fates unknown. Marines walked up to them one by one, locked Seastone handcuffs onto them, and took them into custody.
"How scary..."
"One wonders who did all this..."
Borsalino, one of the Three Admirals of the Marines, code-named Kizaru, landed on the Sabaody Archipelago by riding a cannonball and only then arrived late at this street filled with pirates. Looking at the pirates scattered across the ground, confusion filled his eyes. He seemed to be wondering whether another admiral had already come here before he reached the Sabaody Archipelago.
"Reporting to the admiral, this was done by the recently famous pirate hunter, Jovian of the Sky-High Pillar!"
After hearing Borsalino’s question, a Marine soldier immediately came before him and answered respectfully.
"Oh? You mean Jovian, the one Morgans called a danger to women far surpassing the Four Emperors, the so-called Fifth Horndog?"
Borsalino had heard rumors about Jovian as well. As for Jovian’s day-and-night activities, he admired him greatly. An old man like him needed daily multivitamins and joint supplements just to keep going. He could not possibly play around with all those flashy things Jovian did.
"That should be him..."
The Marine soldier looked a little awkward. To be honest, as Marines stationed on the Sabaody Archipelago, they had a great deal of recognition for Jovian’s existence. After all, Jovian had truly suppressed the entire archipelago’s crime rate like a deterrent force.
Those great pirates who usually ignored the Marines, with bounties in the tens of millions or even over one hundred million, had all restrained themselves on the Sabaody Archipelago now, afraid of being recognized and drawing that plague god Jovian to them.
"That guy is a monster too. So scary. So scary."
Borsalino kept saying how scary it was, yet there was not the slightest hint of fear toward Jovian in his expression.
"Speaking of which..."
Borsalino suddenly noticed something, and his originally calm eyes trembled faintly.
"Isn’t that guy on the stretcher Red Flag Drake?"
Borsalino pointed at Drake, whose bleeding had just been stopped by the Marine soldiers and whose wounds had just been bandaged, and his heart immediately ached.
"Correct! That’s the damned traitor!"
An unnamed Marine glanced at the stretcher, nodded hard, and shouted viciously. Judging by his attitude, he seemed to despise the conduct of Drake, that fallen rear admiral.
"Huh?"
"This is really troublesome."
Borsalino scratched his cheek and smiled bitterly.
No one understood Drake’s actual situation better than him, because he was the direct superior of the fallen rear admiral Drake.
Drake had not betrayed the Marines. Instead, he had joined a secret Marine organization and was carrying out an extremely classified undercover plan. The plan was to cause a major incident, then infiltrate the forces of Kaido of the Beasts, who currently showed faint signs of being the strongest individual pirate alive, in order to undermine Kaido’s power and prepare for the Marines to capture Kaido in the future.
Of course, aside from Kaido himself, the rest of the Beasts Pirates were more or less unimpressive. In terms of group strength, they were far inferior to the Whitebeard Pirates and the iron-walled Red Hair Pirates. They were even weaker than the united Big Mom Pirates. Among the current Four Emperors, they could be called dead last in team battle strength.
In the eyes of the Marines, the Beasts Pirates were basically Kaido plus a bunch of sneaky bastards. From the Marines’ point of view, one Drake would have been enough to undermine or even turn those sneaky bastards. At least, that had been the Marines’ original plan.
"Hoo..."
Borsalino looked at Drake, who was lying there like a corpse and barely surviving thanks to the powerful recovery ability of his Zoan-type Devil Fruit. He took a cigarette from his pants pocket, silently lit it, and began smoking. At this moment, Borsalino really needed a cigarette to calm down.
"This is troublesome..."
Borsalino sighed repeatedly as he blew out smoke.
At this moment, Borsalino was truly convinced by this sneaky bastard Jovian. Seriously, if you want to clean up crime, fine, but how did you end up cleaning up our undercover agent too?
After thinking for a long while and failing to come up with any solution, Borsalino decided to stop thinking about it. He would let Mr. Sengoku worry about this.
He would just go find Straw Hat Luffy and play around.
"Garp’s grandson, I’m coming to find you."
Borsalino was an extremely smooth operator. He knew whose grandson Luffy was, and he also knew that as a Marine admiral, after a Celestial Dragon had been attacked, he had to go over and put on some kind of show. Otherwise, the Celestial Dragons would keep pestering him for accountability, and that would be very annoying.
So, in order to avoid being harassed by the Celestial Dragons while also avoiding offending Garp, his senior, Borsalino decided to go find Luffy, put on a show, kick him a few times casually, and then quietly wait for someone else to come save Luffy.

After figuring things out, Borsalino kept both hands in his pockets while his body transformed into countless points of light and vanished into the sky.
Elsewhere, Jovian arrived before a brand-new Supernova.
"You’re Bege, captain of the Fire Tank Pirates, right?"
"Ah, you really do look like a tank..."
Jovian stood with both hands in his pockets, looking at the pirate in front of him who had transformed into a massive castle tank. He yawned, his expression incomparably calm.
"You really are arrogant!"
"Then I’ll just crush you flat, bastard!"
Bege was furious at Jovian’s arrogance. He drove the tank he had transformed into and charged straight at Jovian.
"You’re so annoying, bastard."
Facing Bege, who had transformed into a massive tank, Jovian remained calm. He lightly threw a punch, slicing through the air and striking Bege’s body.
Boom!
With a thunderous roar, the tank Bege had transformed into was instantly blown apart.
"Cough, cough..."
A mouthful of blood suddenly sprayed from Bege’s mouth. His eyes rolled back, and he changed from his castle state back into his ordinary human form, lying on the ground as he twitched nonstop.
"Another Supernova."
Jovian stood in place, looked at the Supernova he had defeated, and spoke calmly, not feeling the slightest surprise.
"You guys, calculate the price for me. I want my money."
Jovian waved at the Marines nearby who had been watching the show and asked for money directly.
"Captain Kid, bounty of three hundred fifteen million Berries. Gang Bege, bounty of one hundred thirty-eight million Berries. Massacre Soldier Killer, bounty of one hundred sixty-two million Berries. Red Flag Drake, bounty of two hundred twenty-two million Berries. Magician Hawkins, bounty of two hundred forty-nine million Berries. Apoo, bounty of one hundred ninety-eight million Berries. Mad Monk Urouge, bounty of one hundred eight million Berries. A total of seven Supernovas have been captured! Total bounty to be paid, one billion three hundred ninety-two million Berries!"
The Marine holding the bill and reading it aloud had his forehead covered in dense beads of sweat. This was the first time he had ever paid out such an enormous bounty to a pirate hunter. This was more than a billion. Nearly one point four billion in total. Even in the New World, this was no small amount.
"The one billion three hundred ninety-two million Berries are all here!"
The young Marine handed Jovian an enormous sack. This time, he really was carrying money in a sack.
"Thanks."
Jovian opened the sack, looked at the countless ten-thousand-Berry bills inside, and nodded in satisfaction. Then he hoisted the enormous sack full of more than a billion Berries over his shoulder and set off on his journey.
"Speaking of which, where is Straw Hat Luffy?"
Jovian suddenly remembered something and asked the Marine beside him.
"You don’t need to worry about Luffy. A Marine admiral has already gone over!"
The Marine immediately waved his hands when he heard Jovian ask about Luffy, indicating that Jovian did not need to earn Luffy’s bounty, because Admiral Kizaru, Borsalino, had already gone to deal with him.
As a Marine, he had absolute faith in the power of his side’s top fighting force, the Marine admirals. If even an admiral could not deal with Straw Hat Luffy’s crew, then there was no one in this world who could.
The young Marine was extremely certain of his own reasoning, because the Marine admirals symbolized the peak fighting power of this world. They were monsters capable of contending with the sea emperors.
"What?!"
The moment Jovian heard that Kizaru had already gone over, his heart tightened. Carrying his money on his back, he immediately flew into the air.
After flying for a while, Jovian ran back again, looked at the Marine in front of him, and asked, "Where is Straw Hat right now?"
"Uh..."
The Marine froze at first, seemingly not expecting Jovian to care about Straw Hat so much.
"He should be in that direction!"
Still, the Marine pointed the way for Jovian, extending a finger toward the direction Admiral Kizaru had gone earlier.
"Got it!"
Jovian nodded, and his figure instantly disappeared before the Marine’s eyes.
"Did he really need to be in that much of a hurry?"
"The problem is, the admiral has already gone. No matter how much of a hurry you’re in, you probably won’t be able to get the bounty now."
The Marine looked at Jovian, who pierced through the clouds, and scratched the back of his head. In his eyes, Jovian intended to deal with Straw Hat Luffy before Borsalino could take action. As for whether Jovian was looking for Luffy because of some other reason, the Marine soldier did not think of that at all.
After all, Jovian was a pirate hunter, and he was a ruthless man who always hit pirates as hard as possible. If he could kill them, he would never merely cripple them. If he could cripple them, he would never settle for severely injuring them.
"Straw Hat..."
"A Marine admiral ahead, and the world’s strongest bounty hunter behind..."
"Tsk, tsk, tsk."
"Your future looks completely dark to me now."
The Marine kept shaking his head. To be honest, he now felt that Straw Hat Luffy was rather pitiful. Being targeted by two monsters at the same time was truly terrifying.
Elsewhere...
After the Straw Hat crew joined forces and defeated a Pacifista, they finally met that monster head-on, Admiral Borsalino of Marine Headquarters, Kizaru.
"He’s a Logia..."
The Straw Hat crew looked at Kizaru before them in despair, yet they could do nothing. They had absolutely no ability that could touch a Logia, especially when this man’s element was light.
If it were magma, ice, sand, snow, or something like that, they could still consider using an opposite element to cause some degree of damage to those Logia ability users. But what was the opposite element of light? They could not figure it out at all.
In other words, to them, the man before them was an invincible existence.
"You people really are too annoying."
Borsalino instantly knocked Roronoa Zoro to the ground. Then he raised his foot and held it suspended above Zoro’s body. That sole, flashing with dazzling light and releasing terrifying energy, would without a doubt cripple Zoro instantly if it landed on him.
"Damn it!"
"No matter what we do, we can’t hurt him..."
"This is awful..."
Brook gripped his blade and kept stabbing toward Borsalino’s chest, but without exception, Brook’s sword passed straight through Borsalino’s body and missed completely.
"Goodbye, green hair."
After keeping his foot suspended in the air for several seconds, Borsalino finally decided to slowly lower it toward Zoro.
Zzt, zzt.
Before Borsalino could make his move, two red-golden beams cut across the sky and stopped him from attacking.
"Hm?"
Borsalino raised his head in confusion and looked at the man falling from the sky.
Boom!
Amid a burst of dust and smoke, Jovian landed between everyone.
"Bounty hunter..."
"Why are you stopping me from killing this man?"
Borsalino looked at Jovian, who had fallen from the sky, and calmly kicked Zoro aside without changing his expression.
"They’re my prey."
Jovian looked at Borsalino and calmly declared ownership over the Straw Hat crew.
"Hey, hey, hey..."
"You can’t interfere with Marine work for money."
Borsalino looked at Jovian helplessly, as if he were very dissatisfied with Jovian’s behavior.
Elsewhere...
The Straw Hat crew all let out breaths of relief when they saw Jovian descend from the sky.
"We’re... we’re saved..."
"I don’t know what’s going on, but it looks like those two monsters aren’t on the same side."
Usopp wiped the sweat from his forehead and looked at Jovian and Kizaru, who seemed faintly locked in a standoff. At last, his constantly anxious heart relaxed.
"Let’s use this chance to run."
Nami had already been scared out of her wits. At this moment, she did not want to stay between these monsters for even one more second.
"Straw Hat crew..."
"Where do you think you’re going?"
Just as Luffy and the others were discussing their escape, a crisp yet dignified voice sounded beside them.
"That’s..."
When everyone heard the voice, they all froze. In the next second, they cast shocked looks behind them and saw a towering man holding a Bible, who had arrived behind them at some unknown point.
"A robot?"
Usopp looked at the man in front of him and asked in confusion. He thought it was another Pacifista.
"No. This is the real one."
Sanji and Zoro exchanged a glance, then stepped in front of Usopp and the others, facing the monster before them directly as they spoke coldly.
"So that means this is a real Seven Warlord of the Sea?!"
When Usopp heard that, his body trembled in fear.
"This really is lively."
"With so many strong people gathered here, let this old man join in too."
Just as Usopp’s whole body went weak from fear, and Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji decided to stake everything on one final fight, an elderly voice sounded beside everyone.
"Wow..."
"How rare."
"I never expected that even the legendary man himself, the Pirate King’s right hand, Dark King Rayleigh, would come and get involved."
"Scary. Truly scary."
Borsalino looked at the old man who had arrived and spoke in a mocking tone.
At the same time, with the arrival of a Marine admiral, a pirate hunter, a legendary pirate, and a Seven Warlord of the Sea, the entire situation grew more and more complicated.
