"I know." Marco Lordon felt an awkward sense of being humiliated, but he didn’t let it show, and instead admitted: "Yes, Zevaney said it wasn’t convenient for her to find you, so she came to me asking me to let you know."
Marco Lordon: "Do you have time recently?"
Zevaney Kingsley stood by, looking tense.
She got news from Hansel Kingsley and knew Khendy had unusually not chosen to cooperate with the Kingsley Family this time.
She then wanted to accomplish this to elevate her status within the family.
If she could accomplish this, she could show the family that she actually has abilities not inferior to Nathalie Quinlan, lest there are still a handful of people in the family unwilling to let go of Nathalie, the rebellious direct-line descent, still hoping to recognize her back...
