Chapter 940: Chapter 967: Bidding Farewell to the Old and Welcoming the New (1)
Koa Jackson lowered his gaze and glanced at her.
After a moment, he said to Caiden Ward, "Change clothes."
Caiden Ward smiled slightly, raised his hand to rub Maeve’s hair, and the three of them went together to change clothes.
Quickly came out.
For men, a pair of swim trunks will do.
But—
The three walking in the sunlight were really quite eye-catching, and Mia Ginger’s gaze remained glued to Koa Jackson. As he approached, she wrapped her arms around his, saying, "If I’d known, I wouldn’t have changed clothes."
Koa Jackson: "..."
Mia Ginger pouted, "A lot of people are looking at you."
Koa Jackson was tall, even slightly taller than Caiden Ward, with wide shoulders, a narrow waist, long legs, and a composed, handsome face and sharp, clear eyes. No matter how you looked at him, he seemed somewhat out of place here.
Even wearing swim trunks, he looked entirely serious, which was a bit of a cute contrast.
Mia Ginger clung to his arm with both hands, scratching intermittently, feeling quite restless.
Koa Jackson lowered his gaze again to look at her, unable to help but laugh. He said, "Let’s go."
"What should we play?" Mia Ginger leaned forward to ask Caiden Ward.
"Maeve isn’t tall enough, so the options are limited. There’s a few of us, maybe we should start with the floating river?"
The floating river winds its way around the entire water park. Visitors ride float tubes to enjoy the scenery along the way, a relaxing and comfortable activity, with no danger involved, suitable for both adults and children.
The group naturally agreed immediately.
They took two float tubes, Koa Jackson and Mia Ginger used one together.
The sunlight poured onto the water’s surface, creating shimmering waves. Mia Ginger lay in the front groove, drifting downstream, her heart suddenly skipped a beat, and she let out a sharp scream.
"I’m flying!" Maeve came from behind her, stretched her arms like a bird, and slid past her eyes.
Mia Ginger snapped back to reality and laughed heartily, holding onto Koa Jackson’s hand.
The cool river water splashed, quickly wetting the ends of her hair, which softly adhered to her delicate neck, making her skin appear even more white and jade-like.
The sunlight illuminated her smiling face, Koa Jackson watched her, thinking that smile was even more beautiful than sunflowers.
"Brother Jackson."
"Mm."
"Brother Jackson."
"Mm."
"Brother Jackson!"
"Boring."
When Mia Ginger called out the third time, Koa Jackson responded lightly with a scold, making her laughter explode in a burst of joy.
Laughter and chatter resonated both near and far.
The sun climbed higher, and time flew by.
After playing the floating river, the group split into two. Caiden Ward and George Davis took Maeve to play the family slide and the small speaker, which were children’s activities, while Koa Jackson accompanied Mia Ginger to try a couple of quite thrilling adult rides.
Among them was a slide, entirely enclosed for eight meters inside. As Mia Ginger entered the darkness, she turned and kissed Koa Jackson.
The moment light broke through the darkness, Koa Jackson held Mia Ginger’s arm, listening to her scream, feeling as if his mind and body were completely reshaped.
They went crazy for more than three hours. After bathing, Koa Jackson checked the time, realizing it was already past one in the afternoon.
Caiden Ward and Maeve were still playing inside.
Mia Ginger dried her hair and came to his side, and Koa Jackson pinched a cotton swab to clean her ears.
The warm sunlight shone on them, Mia Ginger tilted her head, resting on his thigh, with her eyes slightly narrowed, like a lazy cat.
Koa Jackson carefully helped clean her ears, and softly asked, "Still uncomfortable?"
