Chapter 937: Chapter 964: To Swim or Not to Swim, Second Update (1)
The two of them returned to the KFC.
They remained hand in hand.
Koa Jackson ordered chicken legs, fries, and ice cream cones, and turned to Mia Ginger, "What would you like to eat?"
"I don’t want anything." Mia pressed her lips together, looking at him, foolishly smiling and shaking her head, just feeling that just looking at him was enough, she didn’t need to eat anything, watching him was enough to satisfy her.
"Nothing?" Koa couldn’t help but smile, raised his hand and lightly touched her nose, and said to the cashier, "Add another ice cream cone."
"Alright." The cashier was a young girl, her face flushed and heart racing just seeing him, especially the intimate little action, along with that tender smile at the lip, she handed over the ice cream cone cautiously.
"Thank you." Koa expressed his gratitude, carrying a paper bag with one ice cream cone in one hand and holding Mia’s hand in the other, they walked out the door.
"So handsome!" As soon as they walked out of sight, the girl who ordered with them couldn’t help but exclaim, gossiping, "Thought he looked handsome in photos, but didn’t expect him to be even more handsome in person, especially being this gentle."
"Isn’t he a celebrity?" The girl who came to her senses had doubts.
"He’s indeed not a celebrity, celebrities can’t compare with him at all."
"Huh?"
"Do you know who he is? Cody Jackson’s grandson, the doctor well-known from the fourth hospital during the earthquake rescue, his identity was revealed online some time ago, just like the girl beside him, Aurora Cooper’s daughter, don’t they make a perfect match, simply the epitome of a golden couple."
"How come I didn’t know?"
"The photos disappeared after two days, someone probably handled them."
"Do you have any secret stash of photos? I didn’t dare to take pictures just now."
"I’ll give you some after work."
The two cashiers whispered two sentences together, quickly separated, and the two who had already gone out naturally knew nothing about it.
The bright sunlight shone, and it became even hotter.
Mia Ginger’s hand was held by Koa Jackson, and her other hand held an ice cream cone. She ate a bit, and the ice cream began to melt and dripped onto the back of her hand. In a hurry, she bent down and licked it away, hearing Koa’s low and pleasant laughter.
Mia glanced at him, her cheeks turning red, feeling a bit embarrassed.
"Get in the car first."
Koa helped her pull open the car door, walked around the car hood to the driver’s seat, and handed his things to Caiden Ward.
As soon as Caiden took over, Maeve took a big bite from the ice cream cone, sucking in air, "So cold, ooh."
"Why are you in such a hurry?" Caiden scolded impatiently, his gaze fell on Mia and he smiled, "Are you okay? You should watch your step when walking, that was dangerous just now."
"It’s not my fault, the car was driving too fast, that’s why it stopped so suddenly." Mia bit her lip in rebuttal.
Caiden scrutinized her for a moment, then asked, "Did you think of your cousin?"
He and Koa have always been close, and Mia, having known early about their matters, when seeing the spontaneous scene between them, could pretty much guess about it.
Mia softly replied with a "Hmm."
"Well, this trip was worth it." Caiden’s alluring eyes curved with a smile.
Mia finished the ice cream cone, wiped her hands with a tissue, as the car arrived at the parking lot.
Maeve just began to munch on a chicken leg, while Caiden followed holding her hand, the two walked in first, meeting George Davis who arrived earlier.
Mia waited for Koa.
Koa parked the car, then turned his head to see her.
His girl wore a white dress, tilted her head and watched him closely, her gaze glued to him, behaving adorably well.
