Chapter 41: The game of hearts begins

Then he began to move. He started with a slow, steady rhythm, pulling out almost all the way before sliding deep back inside. Her moans grew louder and more frantic. Each time he drove into her, a sharp jolt of pleasure shot through her body, making her cling to him even tighter.

Her hands tangled in his hair as she pulled him closer, every inch of her yearning for him, every heartbeat echoing the hunger neither could deny. The feeling built up until it exploded.

Her orgasm was so intense that all she could do was cling to him and moan his name. Julian felt the powerful wave hit him too. With a deep, final thrust, he groaned her name, his body tensing, and spilled his hot, thick seed deep inside her. He didn’t bother pulling out.

Julian collapsed against her, burying his face in her neck. Lyvana lay still, her heart hammering against her ribs.

Then he shifted to his elbows to look down at her. Her hair was messy, and she looked completely dazed.

Then she shifted slightly under him, her skin sliding against his. Suddenly, his body tensed. He felt his arousal increase again, a sharp, sudden heat that took him by surprise.

His jaw tightened as he forced himself to stay still. He had to restrain himself, fighting the urge to take her all over again right then and there. But he knew she was exhausted, and as much as his body demanded more, he didn’t want to break the peaceful spell between them.

He gently brushed a damp strand of hair from her forehead.

"You’re mine, Lyvana." It wasn’t a question. It was a territorial claim that left no room for her to say no.

"I am," she whispered, the words coming from deep inside her.

He leaned down and kissed her forehead, then the tip of her nose, before settling back against her.

"Don’t forget it," he murmured against her skin.

He pulled the covers up around them, tucking her head under his chin.

When morning came Lyvana awoke still in Julian’s arms. She smiled softly. She loved the feeling of being in his arms.

She knew there was no going back after what happened last night. She had to start trusting Julian at some point and tell him everything that has happened.

As she tried to move out of his arms, his grip instantly tightened, pinning her back against his chest. He opened his eyes and a lazy smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth. He leaned in and kissed the tip of her nose.

"Where do you think you’re going, sweetheart?"

He moved closer, kissing her cheeks. He couldn’t believe how beautiful she looked so early in the morning, even with her hair a messy tangle on the pillow.

He reached up, his fingers tangling in her hair to tilt her head back so he could see her eyes clearly. To him, she was perfect like this.

He wasn’t ready to let her get out of bed yet; he wasn’t done worshiping her.

Slowly, he slid the covers off her body. She gave a shy giggle trying to cover herself, but he didn’t let her move. He gently pinned her wrists above her head, his eyes dark with desire.

"Not yet," he whispered, looking at her body in the morning light. He didn’t say a word, he just let his gaze travel over her, tracing every curve and every flush of her skin.

His hands gripped her thighs, spreading them wide, and he just looked at her for a moment.

"Still sore from last night?" he asked. freewebnoveℓ.com

"A little," she admitted, blushing.

"Good," he murmured. "I want you to feel me for days. I want it to be the only thing you can think about."

His mouth found her inner thigh, kissing slowly.

"Julian..." she breathed, as a wave of heat rushed through her.

"Say my name again."

"Julian..."

He devoured her then, like a starving man, his tongue working expertly, finding every sensitive spot with devastating precision.

Lyvana couldn’t hold back. Her body went stiff, and her breath caught in her throat as a wave of heat exploded inside her. She cried out his name, her fingers digging into his hair as she arched her back off the bed.

The feeling was overwhelming, shaking her from head to toe. She couldn’t think or move. Every muscle in her body tightened as the climax washed over her.

"Look at me," Julian said, rising to position himself at her entrance. "Tell me who you belong to."

"You," she choked out, her head tossing back against the pillow. "Only you."

With that he pushed into her in one deep, slow motion.

Lyvana gasped, her eyes widening as he filled her completely.

The breath left her lungs, and she wrapped her legs around his waist, pulling him even closer. It was a heavy, overwhelming feeling that made her heart race.

He didn’t move for a moment, letting her body adjust to his size. He leaned down, his forehead resting against hers, his breath hot on her skin.

Then, he began to move, his strokes slow and powerful, reclaiming her all over again in the quiet morning light.

....

Julian’s scent still lingered on the pillows.

He had kissed her forehead an hour ago, whispering that he had urgent business to handle in person, but promised to be back within two hours.

Lyvana didn’t stay under the covers for long. Her phone had been buzzing incessantly on the nightstand.

Now, she sat on the large bed with her tablet, the morning light streaming through the windows. She was on a conference call with Lucille, Sarah and Bertha, and they all sounded excited.

"I can hardly believe it!" Sarah said over the phone.

It turned out that the white bodysuit Lyvana wore in Singapore was now a huge hit. Everyone wanted one. This morning, their inbox was flooded. Fifty two different boutiques had sent in large orders, asking for the bodysuit in every possible color.

"We are officially trending," Lucille added, her voice full of joy.

Lyvana smiled as she typed on her tablet, feeling a rush of pride. "We need to send in at least half of the orders by the end of this week."

Suddenly, the door flew open and a very elegant woman walked into the room.

Lyvana quickly ended her call and stood up from the bed wondering who this woman was.

"Who are you?" she asked.

The woman took a step forward, her expensive jewelry catching the light.

"I should be asking you that," she replied coldly. "What are you doing in my fiancé’s bed?"
