"Okay, let’s go," Owen said while grabbing the clothes the waiter had packed and then taking Anita’s hand again. fɾeewebnoveℓ.co๓
It wasn’t until they were out the door of the mall that Anita realized how quickly Owen had prepared all her gear for playing golf the day before.
When they got back to their hotel room, Anita was still in high spirits. Neither of them mentioned the unhappiness from last night.
After washing up and lying on the bed, the two hugged each other intimately.
Anita glanced at Owen and couldn’t help but lean in to kiss him. "Owen, thank you."
"What are you thanking me for, silly? It’ll be exhausting golfing tomorrow. Go to sleep," Owen said gently to Anita.
"Well, good night." Anita smiled at Owen and nodded, then closed her eyes.
The next morning, the two of them woke up, washed up, went to the restaurant for breakfast, and took the hotel’s tour bus to the golf course.
Bieber had been waiting there. He smiled as soon as he saw Owen and Anita get out of the tour bus.
"Mr. Bieber, why are you here so early?" Owen got out of the car and walked toward Bieber with a smile.
"I can’t help it. I don’t get that much sleep when I’m older." Bieber reached over and shook Owen’s hand while smiling.
"You must be Anita. You can call me Mr. Bieber." Bieber smiled at Anita.
"Hello, Mr. Bieber. I’m Anita. It’s nice to meet you." Anita reached out to shake Bieber’s hand and smiled.
"Good... good. I’m happy to meet you too," Bieber said with a smile.
"Oh yes, Owen, look who this is? Do you know Joan?" Bieber said as he pulled the girl behind him.
Hearing Bieber’s words, Anita quickly looked up in Joan’s direction.
"Joan, you really are Joan, aren’t you? You’ve changed so much," Owen spoke first.
Hearing Owen’s words, Joan smiled in embarrassment and took two steps forward. "Owen, I just came back from studying in England. Speaking of which, we haven’t seen each other for many years." freewёbnoνel.com
"Yeah, I really haven’t seen you in years. Especially now that you’ve become so beautiful, I’m going to have trouble recognizing you." Owen glanced at Joan again and smiled.
Hearing Owen’s words, Joan smiled and said, "Then do you want to welcome me back to the country?"
Owen laughed at Joan’s words and took two steps forward. They both reached out with their left hands and high-fived each other with their right, then hugged.
Anita looked at the two of them and didn’t say anything. After all, if the two of them had known each other since a long time ago, there was nothing wrong with hugging.
The two of them hugged for a moment before letting go. Then Joan quickly took two more steps toward Anita and held out her hand. "Hello, Miss Anita. I’m Joan. I was hoping you wouldn’t mind just now. This is the way Owen and I celebrated back then."
"Hello, Miss Joan. You’re worrying too much. It’s understandable for old friends to do so after not seeing each other for a long time." Anita also reached out to shake Joan’s hand.
"Alright, since we all know each other, let’s not talk anymore. Let’s start playing," Bieber called out to them when he saw that they were still standing there.
"Mr. Bieber, you’re in too much of a hurry. Doesn’t Joan usually play with you?" Owen said with a smile.
Bieber smiled. "Take a look at Joan. It’s just her. Ask her yourself. Her golf skills are embarrassing enough."
"Daddy, how can you say that?" Joan couldn’t help but pout at Bieber’s words.
"Okay, okay, I’m wrong. Owen’s here today. Let him teach you later," Bieber begged.
"Okay, Joan, don’t be mad. Mr. Bieber didn’t mean it. I’ll teach you later." Owen looked at Joan and smiled.
Anita, who had landed a few steps behind them, suddenly felt a little disappointed. She felt as if she was an outsider out of place and was completely unable to join them.
As a woman, her intuition told her that Joan was hostile towards her. Although she didn’t know where the hostility came from, a woman’s intuition was usually very accurate.
"Anita, what are you doing? Come here quickly," Owen said while turning to look at Anita.
"I’ll be right there." Anita heard Owen call out to her and hurried after him.
The group of people soon arrived at the basketball court.
"Anita, here’s your cue." Owen stood next to Anita and started giving her pointers on how to get the cue.
"Owen, why can’t I do it properly? Can you teach me?" Joan said as she stood beside them with her cue stick.
