Chapter 61: An Adorable Sleeping Posture

Editor: Henyee Translations

"Owen, are you guys up? Breakfast is ready," Sylvia asked when there was no response.

"Mom, we’ll be up soon. Wait a moment." Owen hadn’t woken up completely and replied to Sylvia’s words groggily.

Sylvia didn’t say anything else when she heard Owen’s response and turned to leave.

"Did Mom call us?" Anita was also awakened by a knock on the door.

"Mom came to call us for breakfast," Owen replied in a low voice as well.

The two of them had just woken up and were still in a daze, so they didn’t notice how intimate their sleeping postures were.

"I’m sorry. I don’t know why I came here," Owen said nervously while looking at Anita in his arms.

Anita instinctively glanced at herself as she listened to Owen.

It was only then that she realized that she was lying in Owen’s arms, and that they were both under the same blanket. Their postures were so intimate that Annie’s face quickly flushed.

Then, she quickly pulled the blanket up to cover her face and hurriedly moved back.

"Anita, don’t be angry. I didn’t mean to upset you." Owen saw Anita looking so nervous as she moved away from him, and he thought she was angry.

Anita listened to Owen and really didn’t know how to respond. Should she say that she minded, or that she was angry? But no matter what she said, it couldn’t hide the fact that she was lying in Owen’s arms.

Besides, she had slept so soundly in Owen’s arms last night. freewёbnoνel.com

She thought about it and said, "Okay, get up. I want to change," Annie didn’t know what to say.

Owen felt that she didn’t sound very angry, so he was relieved.

"Okay, I’ll go out and wait for you after I wash up," Owen said. Before Anita could respond, he quickly threw back the blanket and got out of bed to go to the bathroom.

To be honest, Owen felt his face flush when he was just in bed. When he went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror, it was true. His face looked flushed.

Owen stared at himself in the mirror for a moment. He couldn’t actually remember what had happened last night. He just knew that as soon as he woke up this morning, he saw Anita nestled in his arms, and her breath brushed against his face.

That feeling made Owen’s heart race. For a moment, he thought that if Anita hadn’t moved back a little, he might have lost control, because Owen really wanted to hold her tight.

Anita lay in bed until she was sure Owen had gotten out of bed and gone to the bathroom. Then she pulled the blanket off her and hurried to calm down.

Then, she got out of bed and hurriedly changed. She had worn a long dress when she came yesterday, and there were no spare clothes here, so she put on the set of clothes from yesterday.

It was just that she was in too much of a hurry to put it on. She caught her hair in the zipper when she wasn’t looking. Anita was anxious to get her hair out, but the more anxious she was, the more she couldn’t.

"Anita, do you need my help?" Owen had already come out, but he still retreated to the bathroom when he saw that Anita was still getting dressed.

He waited and thought she should be dressed already. He just didn’t expect Anita to still be struggling with her clothes when he came out, so Owen asked.

Anita froze at Owen’s words, then said, "Thank you then."

Owen walked to Anita’s side quickly when he saw that she had agreed. The zipper of the long dress was very long, and it reached her shoulder. Moreover, several hairs were caught in it.

Owen didn’t dare to exert too much strength because he was afraid of hurting Anita, so he could only carefully get her hair out little by little before zipping it up.

"Okay, it’s done," Owen said after a moment.

Anita reached out and touched the zipper on her back. It was indeed zipped, so she looked up at Owen and said, "Thank you."

"It’s okay. Go wash up. I’ll go see Mom and the others first." Owen nodded at Anita and smiled.

Anita nodded and headed for the bathroom.

Owen watched as Anita went into the bathroom, then opened the door and walked towards the dining room.

"Good morning, Mom, Dad," Owen said to Sylvia and Jacob, who were already sitting at the dining table waiting for them.

"Good morning. Where’s Anita? Why isn’t she here yet?" Sylvia asked while glancing at Owen.

"Mom, she’s washing up. She’ll be here soon," Owen said as he pulled out a chair and sat down.

"Okay, that’s good," Sylvia said.

"Owen, have you looked at the time?" Jacob said when he saw that Anita wasn’t around.
