Chapter 174: Shooting The Promotional Video

"It’s okay. I already told Anita in advance," Owen said while glancing at Bruce.
"Really? Miss Anita won’t be angry, will she?" When Bruce heard Owen say so, he turned to look at Anita and whispered again.
Owen said nothing and shook his head.
"Does this mean she’s angry or not?" Bruce was extremely puzzled when he saw Owen act like this.
"Bruce, what are you talking about? Is Miranda here?" Anita asked when she saw the two of them whispering by the door.
"Uh, nothing... nothing," Bruce said nervously as he listened to Anita’s question.
"It’s okay. Miranda is already downstairs and filming the promotional video. Do you want to take a look?" Owen ignored Bruce’s nervous look and smiled at Anita.
Actually, the two of them had already communicated before Miranda came. He also knew that Miranda had fallen out with Eric and had completely kicked Eric out of their music community.
Moreover, Miranda had made it clear to him that she had no idea that this song was written by Anita, so after this matter, she had also suggested meeting Anita to talk.
Whether Anita wanted music rights or compensation, she was happy to give them to her.
The two of them could have met and talked at a better time, but today, Anita suddenly came to the office, so she should definitely see Miranda.
Instead of hiding this, he thought it would be better to tell Anita directly. It would be a good opportunity for the two of them to meet and talk. What Miranda said would be more convincing than what he said. He also hoped that Anita could understand Eric’s unknown side better from Miranda.
"Which floor?" Anita asked after a moment.
"On the 19th floor. She’s probably not done yet. How about you take a break? I’ll go down with you later," Owen said while glancing at Anita.
"Okay, I’ll wait a while." Anita nodded and sat on the sofa.
Owen wanted to call out to Bruce and ask him to get two cups of coffee, but unexpectedly, after he turned around, he realized that Bruce was no longer in the room.
"Bruce, send two coffees in." After walking to his desk, he picked up the internal phone and dialed.
"Yes, CEO. Is Miss Anita angry?" Bruce asked softly through the phone.
"You worry quite a lot. Where did you run off to just now?" Owen said while listening to Bruce’s question.
Hearing Owen’s words, Bruce suddenly felt a little guilty. He had indeed run a little fast just now, because he had sensed the awkwardness between President Owen and Miss Anita. He was afraid of getting implicated, so he slipped away early.
"Okay, hurry up and get the coffee," Owen said again when he saw that Bruce didn’t say anything for a long time.
"Yes, CEO. I’ll go immediately." After Bruce heard Owen agree, he hung up.
"Anita, I don’t want you to be angry about Miranda. If you have anything you want to ask, you can ask me directly," Owen said after he thought about it and glanced at Anita. freeωebnovēl.c૦m
"Did you not expect me to come today? If I didn’t come, did you have any intention of telling me that Miranda came to the office today?" Hearing Owen’s words, Anita finally looked up at him.
"Yes, I really didn’t think of telling you that Miranda would come to the office to shoot today, but I did plan to arrange for you to meet Miranda, so I didn’t stop you from coming to the office today."
"But I don’t want you to be angry about it. If you have any thoughts, you can ask me after you meet Miranda later." Owen listened to Anita and took two steps to sit beside her.
Anita didn’t say anything when she heard Owen say that, although she was a little angry after knowing on the way here that Miranda was coming to the office today.
But there had been too many misunderstandings between the two of them because they didn’t trust each other, so she didn’t want to have some doubts about Owen again without any evidence.
"Miss Anita, this is your coffee." Bruce was fast. He knocked and placed their coffee on the table.
"President, Miss Miranda’s filming is almost done. I just told her you were going over. She said she would be waiting for you downstairs," Bruce said to Owen as he put down his coffee.
"We’ll go down now." Owen nodded at Bruce.
"Let’s go," Owen said again after glancing at Anita.
