Chapter 130: Something Big Tonight

What he had to say tonight was more important. Owen didn’t delay and turned off the computer. He picked up his jacket from the stool and walked out with Bruce.
"President, the car is already parked downstairs," Bruce said while following Owen.
Owen nodded. The two of them took the elevator down to the lobby of the first floor. Without any delay, they got in the car and drove to Xiyue Restaurant.
"Bruce, what are you doing?" Bruce had been either looking in the mirror or tidying his clothes or fixing his hair since he got into the car. Owen finally couldn’t take it anymore.
"Ah, CEO, I just feel that my clothes and hair seem a little messy," Bruce said shyly as he turned around to look at Owen.
"Bruce, what I’m thinking is that your attire and hairstyle today are the most striking they have ever appeared in years," Owen said while glancing at Bruce again.
"President, is what you said true? Do I really look striking today?" Bruce heard Owen and couldn’t help but secretly feel pleased. fɾēewebnσveℓ.com
"So, CEO, do you think Miss Miranda’s eyes will light up when she sees me today?" Bruce continued before Owen could say anything.
Owen winced at Bruce’s words. It was only then that he realized why the guy was dressed up to the nines today. He was dressed in a suit and had a haircut. So it was for Miranda.
"I don’t think Miss Miranda will be impressed if she sees you. After all, she’s seen too many handsome men," Owen said to Bruce.
"President, can you not snub me? After all, not everyone is as handsome as you," Bruce said sadly while listening to Owen.
Owen glanced at his expression again. Finally, he couldn’t help but pat him on the shoulder. "Don’t be sad. If Miss Miranda doesn’t want to give you her autograph, then I can give you my autograph."
When Bruce heard the first half of Owen’s words, he thought he was going to help him ask for Miss Miranda’s autograph. Instead, he was going to give him his autograph.
For a moment, he was stunned and didn’t know how to react. In the end, he said speechlessly, "CEO, thank you. I see so many signatures from you every day. I really don’t lack your signature."
Owen saw that the expression on Bruce’s face wasn’t as nervous as it had been just now. He smiled and said nothing more.
He had said these words to ease Bruce’s nervousness. Bruce looked too serious.
He had been with Bruce for so many years and he knew his personality. That was why he had used this method to ease his nervousness just now, because he knew that this was the most suitable method for Bruce and also a method that he wouldn’t mind.
"Miss Miranda, we’ve arrived at Xiyue Restaurant," the driver said to Miranda after parking his car in a special parking space.
Miranda nodded and was about to open the door and get out of the car, but just as she got up, she was pulled back by her manager, who was sitting beside her. "What’s wrong?" Miranda turned back to her manager and asked in confusion.
"Miranda, you have to be careful with your words later. You have to know that your resources now are no longer as abundant as before, especially since Eric has been pestering you. There are a lot of scandals on the Internet every day. Do you know how many fans you have already lost?" Miranda’s manager said quietly.
Miranda didn’t want to listen to her manager nagging her, but she had to. After all, without her manager, she couldn’t do anything.
So she sighed helplessly and continued to quietly listen to her manager instruct her.
"Later, listen to what Owen is going to tell you. Take the opportunity. Owen is a very low profile person, but just because he’s low profile doesn’t mean he’s not powerful. Their family is famous for having high-quality men. They’re rich and wealthy."
"Their company rarely looks for celebrities for endorsements, but since he was willing to look for you for an endorsement this time, he must have done some in-depth research. If he asks about the rumors online, you’re not allowed to admit anything. You have to pay attention to your image." The manager knew that Miranda was very impatient, but she still insisted on saying these words.
Miranda nodded.
"You have to be careful when you talk later," Miranda’s manager reminded Miranda one last time.
Seeing that her manager didn’t continue, Miranda hurriedly pulled open the car door and said, "I understand. I’ll pay attention. Don’t worry."
"Miranda, I’m serious. Remember this, or don’t blame me for not reminding you in the future," her manager said while holding Miranda’s hand.
