Chapter 473: It was suppose to to bullying

The lunch break continued peacefully.

Well... peacefully for everyone except the people unfortunate enough to encounter Amon.

The five second-year students walked through the Academy’s campus area where most students spent their free time during breaks.

Beautiful stone paths stretched between gardens filled with colorful flowers. Students sat beneath trees, chatted on benches, or simply relaxed while enjoying the pleasant weather.

Amon walked at the front of the group with his hands behind his head.

His eyes continuously wandered around. Marcus noticed it immediately. A bad feeling appeared inside him.

"Are you serious about this?" Marcus asked with a frown.

Amon looked at him.

"About what?"

"Trying to bully juniors."

Amon looked offended.

"I am not bullying anyone."

Marcus stared at him.

"You literally said you wanted to enjoy being a senior."

"Exactly."

"That’s the same thing."

"It is not."

Marcus sighed.

He had forgotten how exhausting it was to argue with Amon.

Beside them, Eliana suddenly giggled.

Actually, this looks fun."

A mischievous smile appeared on her beautiful face.

"Let’s do it!"

Marcus immediately looked at her.

"Why are you encouraging him?"

Eliana shrugged.

"Because it sounds entertaining."

Marcus felt another headache coming.

Seraphina walked quietly beside them. Her golden eyes held a calm look. She already knew there was no stopping them.

Once Amon and Eliana agreed on something ridiculous, everyone else simply had to suffer through it.

Aisha walked behind them with her arms folded beneath her chest.

Her tail swayed lightly behind her flowing skirt.

Unlike the others, she didn’t seem interested.

Or at least she pretended not to be.

Meanwhile, Amon’s eyes continued searching for potential victims.

After several moments, he suddenly stopped.

His eyes lit up.

"There!"

Everyone followed his gaze.

A young woman was walking along one of the stone paths.

She had light brown hair that reached her elbows and hazel-colored eyes.

Her appearance was pleasant and attractive. She wore the first-year uniform. A black blazer with blue lines.

A blue tie and black knee-length skirt. Beside her walked a tall young man.

He had dirty blond hair. Dark green eyes. And tanned skin and strong build.

A confident smile. His arm was wrapped around the girl’s waist as if she belonged to him.

Both were clearly first-year students.

Amon nodded seriously.

"Perfect."

Marcus immediately knew something bad was about to happen. Before anyone could stop him.

"HEY! YOU TWO!"

Amon’s voice echoed through the campus. The two first-years stopped walking.

Amon snapped his fingers dramatically.

"You two! Come here!"

His finger pointed directly at them.

"I am talking to you. The dirty blond guy and the brown-haired girl."

The two students looked confused.

Then they glanced at each other before approaching.

Soon they stood before the group.

The blond young man smiled confidently.

"Hello, seniors."

His gaze swept over the group.

Then stopped.

First on Amon.

Then Marcus.

The he saw Eliana. His eyes widened. The elf princess looked exceptionally beautiful today.

Her platinum-blonde hair sparkled beneath the sunlight.

Her blue eyes looked clear and bright.

Then his gaze moved toward Seraphina.

And he froze again.

She possessed a different type of beauty.

She was elegant, calm and graceful.

Then his eyes landed on Aisha. And widened even further. The wolf beastwoman stood taller than him. Her strong physique and wild beauty made her stand out immediately.

For a moment, the young man completely forgot why he was here. His hand unconsciously slipped away from the brown-haired girl’s waist.

A confident smirk appeared on his face.

"Hello there."

He placed a hand over his chest dramatically.

"My name is David."

His smile widened.

"People also call me the Golden Sun."

Nobody reacted.

David didn’t seem bothered.

"Nice to meet you, beautiful seniors."

His attention remained entirely focused on the girls.

Completely ignoring Amon.

A vein bulged on Amon’s forehead. This guy had looked at every woman in the group. But barely acknowledged him.

Amon sighed deeply. "Oi."

David finally looked at him.

Amon pointed toward the brown-haired girl.

"And you?"

The girl flinched slightly.

"W-What is your name?"

"A-Akane..."

"Oh."

Amon nodded.

Then he pointed at David.

"Is he your boyfriend?"

Akane immediately shook her head.

"He... he is not."

A slight hesitation appeared in her voice.

"We just know each other."

Amon frowned. Marcus frowned. Even Eliana’s smile disappeared. The atmosphere became strange.

"If he isn’t your boyfriend," Marcus asked, "then why was he walking so close to you?"

Akane visibly trembled. She lowered her head.

Meanwhile, David simply laughed.

"We aren’t friends."

He placed a hand on Akane’s shoulder.

"We aren’t lovers either."

His smile became wider. fгeewebnovёl.com

"We are something more... and something different."

Then he leaned closer toward her ear.

"Aren’t we?"

Akane’s face immediately showed humiliation.

Amon narrowed his eyes.

For some reason... This scene felt familiar. Very familiar. As if he had seen something like it before. Or maybe read about it somewhere long ago.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t remember. Then David released Akane again. The girl’s expression looked uncomfortable.

However, David paid her no attention.

Instead, he stepped toward Seraphina. A charming smile appeared on his face.

"Beautiful senior—"

Before he could continue. A hand grabbed Seraphina’s wrist. Amon instantly pulled her away.

Seraphina blinked. The next moment, Amon hugged her from the side protectively.

His glare locked onto David.

"You bastard."

His voice carried genuine irritation.

"Don’t you dare flirt with Sera."

David flinched slightly.

For the first time, he sensed something dangerous from Amon.

Still, he tried maintaining his confidence.

He raised both hands.

"My bad."

Then he smirked. "Didn’t know she was your woman."

Amon’s eye twitched.

Meanwhile, Seraphina simply looked down at the arm wrapped around her. She didn’t seem bothered and uncomfortable about the hug.

David then turned toward Aisha. His confidence returned immediately. "Hello there, wild beauty."

He began walking toward her.

Aisha’s eyes narrowed.

She clearly didn’t appreciate it.

Before she could say anything.

Amon exploded. "BASTARD!"

David stopped.

Amon pointed directly at him. "You are courting death!"

The entire area became silent. "Only I am allowed to flirt with that wolf girl!"

Aisha froze. Her eyes widened. Then her face instantly turned red. "What?!"

She glared at Amon.

Marcus covered his face.

Eliana nearly choked.

Seraphina looked away.

Several nearby students immediately started whispering.

David looked between them. Then slowly nodded. "I see."

Aisha’s face became even redder. "No! You don’t see anything!"

Unfortunately, nobody listened.

David now looked completely convinced. Then he turned toward Eliana.

A confident smile appeared again. "Beautiful senior elf, perhaps—"

This time Amon didn’t try to protect Eliana. Just kept watching.

WHAM!

A kick landed directly between David’s legs.

David’s eyes bulged. The world froze.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"

The young man collapsed onto the ground. Both hands immediately grabbed his groin.

Nearby students jumped in shock.

Some male students instinctively covered themselves.

Eliana stood proudly above him.

Then she pointed directly at Amon.

"HEY!"

Amon blinked. "What?"

Eliana looked offended.

"Why didn’t you protect me too?!" Her pointy elf ears twitched in a cute way.

Amon stared.

Marcus stared with tired expression.

Even Aisha stared.

Eliana crossed her arms."I am a princess!"

She pointed at Seraphina. "You protected her."

Then pointed at Aisha. "You protected her too."

Finally she pointed at herself. "What about me?!"

Amon scratched his cheek.

"Well..."

Eliana narrowed her eyes.

"Well?"

Amon coughed. "I forgot."

Silence.

Eliana hit him on head lightly.

"Ouch!"

Everyone except Amon started laughing. The laughter continued for several moments.

Even some nearby students who had gathered to watch the strange scene couldn’t help but laugh.

Amon rubbed his head while glaring at Eliana.

"Violence is not the answer."

Eliana snorted.

"It absolutely was."

"You injured an innocent man."

The elf princess pointed at David, who was still rolling on the ground while clutching himself.

"He was flirting with every woman he saw."

"That’s true."

"And he was making Akane uncomfortable."

"Also true."

"And you forgot to protect me."

Amon opened his mouth.

Then closed it. Unfortunately, he couldn’t argue against that. Seeing his defeated expression, Eliana smiled victoriously.

Meanwhile, Akane stood quietly to the side.

For the first time since approaching them, some of the tension in her shoulders seemed to disappear.

Seraphina noticed it. Her golden eyes moved toward the first-year girl.

"Are you alright?"

Akane looked surprised that someone had spoken directly to her.

Then she nodded quickly. "Y-Yes."

However, her voice lacked confidence. Aisha glanced toward David and frowned.

"That guy bothers me."

Marcus folded his arms.

"He bothers everyone."

Amon finally stopped rubbing his shin and looked toward Akane. "Listen."

The brown-haired girl looked at him.

"If he keeps bothering you, tell a professor or just come to me."

Akane hesitated before nodding.

"O-Okay."

David somehow managed to sit upright.

His face looked pale.

When he looked at Eliana, fear immediately appeared in his eyes.

The princess smiled sweetly.

David instantly looked away.

Amon almost laughed. For someone who acted so confidently moments ago, he had become incredibly obedient.

"Let’s go," Marcus said.

"I’ve had enough excitement for one lunch break."

"Agreed," Seraphina replied.

Aisha nodded.

Eliana looked slightly disappointed. "Already?"

"Yes," Marcus answered immediately.

The group turned around and began walking away.

As they left, Amon glanced back one last time.

Akane was still standing there. When she noticed him looking, she gave a small grateful bow.

Amon simply waved casually before continuing forward.

Meanwhile, behind them, David remained sitting on the ground while questioning every life decision that had brought him to this moment.

And just like that, Amon’s first attempt at exercising his authority as a senior had come to an end.

Unfortunately for the Academy...

Everyone in the group knew this definitely would not be his last attempt.
