"That is seriously impressive." Xie Yanlin commented with deep respect.
Meanwhile, Ning Shoukai, who had been quietly listening to their conversation from the sidelines, suddenly grinned mischievously as a wicked idea formed in his mind.
"Teacher Ji, these three people want to become Xifeng’s sparring partners for today!" Ning Shoukai announced shamelessly, pointing directly at his companions.
Xie Yanlin, Xie Jingguo, and Xie Zixin froze, immediately turning to stare at Ning Shoukai in complete, horrified disbelief.
"Sure. You may fight her." Ji Yuan agreed without even a single moment of hesitation.

With heavy hearts, they walked out toward the centre of the training grounds and faced Bai Xifeng directly. Xie Yanlin and Xie Zixin both drew their swords, the blades catching the light, while Xie Jingguo gripped a heavy, imposing spear tightly in his hands, adjusting his stance.
"You may begin now." Ji Yuan stated flatly from the sidelines, signalling the start of the match.
Without wasting a single second, Bai Xifeng immediately pulled out several paper runes from her robes and threw them high into the air. With a swift flick of her fingers, she activated two different elemental runes simultaneously, one carrying the fluid water attribute and the other carrying the volatile fire attribute.
The very instant both runes collided with one another, a thick, suffocating layer of mist exploded outward. The dense white vapour rapidly spread across the entire training grounds, completely disrupting her opponents’ vision and rendering them temporarily blind.
Using the heavy mist as perfect cover, Bai Xifeng swiftly and silently moved around the battlefield. Like a ghost in the fog, she quietly placed additional runes in strategic locations across the stone tiles, laying down a network of hidden traps well in advance.
Xie Yanlin narrowed his eyes, peering intently into the dense mist swirling around them. He knew they were at a severe disadvantage. He needed to disperse this fog quickly before Bai Xifeng gained complete, irreversible control over the battlefield.
He raised his sword high and channelled his qi into the blade continuously, the weapon humming with energy. Once he felt enough spiritual qi had gathered, he swung his sword downward with forceful precision, instantly summoning a heavy, localised rain across the training grounds. The falling torrent rapidly washed away and cleared the surrounding mist.
The moment the fog vanished, Xie Jingguo immediately spotted Bai Xifeng’s exposed figure and made his move without a shred of hesitation.
He swung his heavy spear violently toward the ground, channelling his earth qi. The stone tiles beneath them groaned loudly as a series of jagged earthen pillars burst upward, surging forward in a straight line toward Bai Xifeng, attempting to box her in and restrict her movements completely.
At the exact same time, Xie Yanlin manipulated the falling rainwater, redirecting it to thoroughly soak the muddy ground surrounding Bai Xifeng’s feet. The moment Xie Jingguo noticed his ally’s setup, he immediately seized control of the wet earth, hardening the mud into makeshift shackles in an attempt to restrain Bai Xifeng’s legs in place.
However, Bai Xifeng’s fingers moved in a blur of motion. She swiftly plucked two specific runes from the stone tiles beneath her feet, and with a smooth, practised flick of her wrist, she sent them flying outward. They soared through the air and attached themselves directly onto the approaching earthen pillars.
