Chapter 4260: Power

She stretched her hand out, pointing towards Kane.

His green eyes widened as he found himself bound by webs once more. ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com

The webs of his own mind. The webs of the atmosphere around him. The webs of gravity, of space and time itself.

The webs of reality itself.

And yet, it didn’t last very long.

The very next moment, he found himself free.

The webs that bound him turned into water. The atmosphere let him go. The shackles of gravity, of space and time, of the very depths of his own mind let him go as they became as free and ever-changing as water.

He became Water. freewebnσvel.cѳm

Rui calmly exerted his influence upon the information dimension, countering the power of the Divine Mother.

WHOOSH

He grabbed Ria, taking her away as he shot through space and time, activating his Corporeal Realm.

The Divine Mother raised a hand towards him as her stinger unleashed a net of web.

WHOOSH

One that covered the entire planet in the blink of an eye. The webbing spread across the sky in the fraction of a second, altering the geometry of reality itself.

RUMBLE

The web didn’t merely bind space and time in a domain that was entirely impenetrable to lesser beings, but it made it impossible for any kind of teleportation to occur from inside to outside.

"Rghhh!" Kane struggled to activate his corporeal warp drive as the very structure of the sky was fragmented alongside the strands of the web that the creature had created. It was a technique similar to that of her now-deceased black-furred daughter, but scaled up in quality and quantity to consume an entire world within its grip.

The sheer volume and mass of the webbing that the Divine Mother had unleashed vastly exceeded that of her own body.

And yet, with the power of her Webverse, she could vastly outstrip her material limitations, allowing her to capture entire planets within her web like they were mere pebbles.

The domain was overwhelming not just to any attempts at leaving it, but also to any thoughts that even considered leaving it. It didn’t just bind matter and energy; it bound the man in a manner that defied logic.

It crushed the spirit of those who beheld the imprisoned planet, tangled in a shackle of a web.

And yet, it didn’t last very long.

Rui’s hand, loose and open, slowly sharpened straight and flat, before being raised high. A single remark escaped him as he smoothly brought it down in a chopping gesture.

"Realm Cleaver."

RUMBLE!!!!!

The Divine Mother sharpened her six eyes as the technique spontaneously created by the Forge of Creation shattered the domain she had woven on the spot, tearing it apart in a violent and vicious manner.

RUMBLE!!!!!

The very fabric of space and time shook as the constricting domain was shredded with a single gesture. The webs that held the domain together had been cut roughly, as if shredded by a serrated blade.

RUMBLE!!!!!

The technique made use of a special kind of esoteric matter known as chronoplastic condensate. Rui had generated large amounts of it within his body using his pluripotent core. The esoteric matter had the property of making space and time more plastic and less elastic, making it difficult to bend and warp.

His Martialverse pushed on top even further.

Everything was water.

Including the otherwise firm, solid strands of webbing maintaining the domain.

The untangled domain sent ripples across the very fabric of space and time that were so intense and violent that the very planet around them began to experience complete and total destruction.

RUMBLE!!! RUMBLE!!! RUMBLE!!!

Massive fissures emerged across the surface of the planet as the world shattered. The breaking planet roared in agony as the destruction that was wreaking across it literally deformed it from a spherical planet into broken fragments of a sphere.

RUMBLE!!!!!

The shattered landmasses spread apart from each other as the layer of webbing across the inner surface began to stretch tremendously, struggling to hold the planet together. The Silk City that was the basis of homoarachnoid civilization within the depths of Planet Amadeus III became the sole glue holding together the shattered pieces of the planet.

RUMBLE!!!!!

And yet, each and every single conscious being on the surface of the planet, human or otherwise, realized that fragmented Planet Amadeus III was a ticking time bomb.

The Silk City webbing wasn’t just holding the planet together.

It was also preventing the core of the planet, which served as a sun in the hollow cavity of the planet, from exploding with its engineered anti-gravity. It was only a matter of time before the webbing gave out and the entire planet was destroyed.

RUMBLE!!!!!

Even as the world shook violently and in a volatile manner, each and every single living being on the surface of the planet made a run for it.

"Get out of here, everybody!" Arastia roared into her commpad, unclear of whether it could even work in this unstable environment, even as she rushed away from the two Martial Transcendents with gritted teeth. "We need to evacuate immediately! Leave behind all goods and abandon the base! Get to outer space right now!"

Pathwalkers had already begun racing for outer space even before she issued her warning. Most of them were on commission and were simply not going to risk their lives in what was a world that was soon to be completely destroyed.

Homoararchnoids, on the other hand, panicked, drowned in despair and alarm as they tried webbing away into outer space.

The reality was that they were less equipped with the means to fare in outer space. The outpost world was their permanent home, and they simply didn’t have the means to survive outer space on such short notice and on such a large scale.

Their fates were already decided.

Their pincers clashed against each other with deep emotions, only to be drowned by the roaring death throes of a dying planet. The ground beneath their feet shook violently, impeding their return to Silk City.
