Chapter 4240: Unfettered Capture

Arastia’s voice flared with a ferocity and power as she struggled to contain the blindingly bright red energy that spewed from her body. She was at her strongest, having taken this operation at the peak of her cycle, and that meant that the power of her blood was much stronger than normal, causing it to be difficult to control when she wasn’t used to using it that much.

Very few people could even come close to getting her to go that far.

RUMBLE!!!!!

She drowned the hapless black-furred homoarachnoid in the blood of her plasma.

The battle should have been over then and there.

And certainly, it would have been.

Had she not been interfered with then and there.

Her senses detected the ambush just a moment before it reached her.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

She barely managed to defend herself from the attack, redirecting her plasmic blood away from —oo—oo to protect herself from a very familiar attack.

An attack of blood.

Around her, several red-haired women formed a perimeter, making it impossible for her to escape easily.

From above, the leader of the ambush rushed down at her with extreme speed and momentum, blasting her with a powerful attack that she barely managed to react to.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The sheer force with which the tsunami of blood crashed into her suggested an attack that had been charged and accrued with power.

And yet, Arastia held on. The power of her blood plasma burned the blood that attempted to touch her, completely fraying the matter around her. Her shining blood-red eyes shifted towards the perpetrator of the ambush.

"Tsk, couldn’t get it off in one shot, could I?" He muttered with a hint of dissatisfaction. "But oh well."

He grinned at Arastia with blood-red eyes filled with madness and desire.

Arastia’s expression crumpled into one of intense ferocity and anger.

"You."

Her voice was filled with weight and power.

Blood Lord Saron grinned at her. "Miss me, my dear?"

"Do not call me that, you disgusting human being," she snarled at him. frёewebnoѵēl.com

"Ah, but that’s the thing, isn’t it?" He smiled at her cruelly. "I’m not a human being. A hemosapien. The human beings that you love so much are inferior to us. Comparing them to me is the true insult."

The blood around him grew denser and thicker as he drew closer and closer to her. Arastia’s expression crumpled with disgust at his words. It was precisely the madness of his ideology that made his very existence intolerable to her.

The Blood Cult had made life miserable for the Blood Humanist Society in the past thirteen years. After all, it greatly harmed the normalization and integration of hemosapiens into human civilization. After all, it was unfortunately simply inevitable for the other half of a race to bear suspicion and discrimination as a consequence of what the other half did. Blood humans like her had to deal with a tremendous amount of discrimination out of fear and suspicions of them being connected to the Blood Cult.

"Arastia," Blood Lord Saron had the audacity to speak to her gently. "I will make my offer one more time."

His eyes sharpened.

"Become my wife. Bear my children. And help our race elevate above all of human civilization and atop the greatest throne in human civilization."

Her expression grew even more disgusted. freēwēbηovel.c૦m

But disgust made way for anger and bloodlust.

"Die."

The plasmic blood she was surrounded in, giving her almost an godly aura, exploded forth, rushing towards the hemosapiens.

And yet, they were prepared for it.

The Blood Cult had gathered a tremendous amount of information on just how powerful she was and what her abilities. She was indeed the strongest hemosapien, and she was indeed at her peak. But with enough preparation and contingencies, Blood Lord Saron knew she could be taken down.

"Better. Get. Away. When. I. Can."

She had no idea why the two red human aliens were fighting, but the homoarachnoid could care less. She simply undid her domain as she retracted her space-time webbing, unveiling the tremendous conflict that ensued between the various red humans.

She rushed away, lowering down from the high stratosphere as she redirected her focus to more meaningful pursuits. She knew that she could go on to attack and inflict grave damage on the outsiders who had invaded this outpost world. However, she knew that her mother wasn’t too concerned with mere insects fighting for a patch of the land of the vast world.

What she was more concerned about was the target that the Divine Mother thought had sent for her in the first place. She had been sent to hold off Arastia while -o—o-o and Oo—o- acquired the target, since the in-fighting between humans clearly took over her job, she could very well simply take over the main job herself so that the mission could end as soon as possible.

Her six eyes scoured the battlefield even as she descended from the stratosphere, shifting her gaze across the entire battlefield. She had only just been brought up to speed on the outsider aliens, having been told tentatively that they could fight the homoarachnoid species head on.

But having seen it for herself, she realized just how strong the outsiders were. Their individual combat power was truly astonishing, especially considering that it didn’t seem to derive from the presence of powerful esoteric substances.

Then she spotted her target.

What she saw stunned her.

Oo—o-’s bloody and busted body on the ground, while a female human stood over it, panting heavily. The two of them were separated from the rest of the conflict, making them easier to discern.

—oo—oo’s six eyes lit up with ecstasy.

"Found. You!"

The creature rushed forth towards Ria, threatening to crush her alive.

In the blink of an eye, she arrived before Ria. The wounded body of the teenage girl was hunched over, barely reacting with shock because of how tired she was. Her face was covered in blood, both blue and red, while numerous wounds checkered her body. Ria’s amber eyes widened with shock at the sudden emergence of a black-furred homoarachnoid.

And yet, it was too late.
