Chapter 4238: Emerging Saboteurs
WHOOM
In the depths of outer space, a spaceship emerged out of seemingly nowhere, slowing down from extreme speeds. The spaceship was merely a frigate.
That, too, a stealth frigate. It made the spaceship all the more suspicious, yet the vessel remained hidden from most radar and sensors. It didn’t give out a thermal signature, nor did it interact with electromagnetic radiation. It didn’t even warp space and time that much.
"We have arrived, Your Excellency."
At the center of the command room, a gargantuan man stood at the very center, overseeing the relatively smaller crew as they managed the ship. He wore a blood-red cloak that garbed him from head to toe; his eyes and hair were of the same color.
On the chest of the cloak were the symbols of the Blood Cult embroidered cleanly, marking his allegiance.
Lord Saron studied the radar data that the ship collected with its senses, sharpening his eyes. "The Strehegeld Star System appears to be relatively empty. Do they truly have nothing here? What about the planet in question?"
"Planet Amadeus III is currently giving off a lot of thermal, electromagnetic, and gravitational energy and radiation, My Lord," one analyst remarked, transmitting him the relevant data. "Right now, we’re seeing multiple conflicts emerging on the surface of the planet as well as what appears to be a broader war. Additionally..."

A hologram of the planet emerged in front of him, projected mid-air. it featured several points that were marked as points of human presence, mostly spaceships of adventurers, mining enterprises, and explorers. They orbited the planet with an unusal amount of distance, as if too afraid to get close to the planet.
The reason revealed itself to the leader of the Blood Cult fairly quickly.
"There appears to be a native species within the planet that appears to be able to launch attacks from the surface of the planet," the analyst head informed him. "From what we have managed to gather from our radars and from the broadcasts of the spaceships in this star system, they have dubbed this species homoarachnoid, based on its strange resemblance to a human, a spider, and a scorpion."
Blood Lord Saron studied the creatures with equal parts disdain and curiosity. He didn’t have an appreciation for alien life. After all, the Blood Cult’s ideology was fundamentally exclusionary. It was also fundamentally antagonist to those who were different. From a single glance, they appeared to be primitive. Their stingers could release special webbing, based on the fact that they were somehow intact despite being launched into outer space from the surface in a rather shocking fashion.
They barely covered their bodies in it, revealing some degree of clothing. That made him lose interest all the more.
Until more information about their power was soon revealed by the intelligence team.
"Sir, a large group of homoarachnoids and human pathwalkers appear to be engaged in conflict with each other," the tone of surprise from the analyst was visible. "And... it appears to be the Blood Humanist Society. Somehow, the homoarachnoids appear to be able to hold their own against pathwalkers of our race."
"What?!" Blood Lord Saron’s blood-red eyes widened with shock as he leaned forward, studying the gathered data. "Impossible. You’re telling me that some primitive alien species is able to go toe to toe with our misled brothers and sisters?!"
Even though half of hemosapiens that were part of the Blood Humanist Society were brainwashed in the eyes of the Blood Cult, they had no belief that their opponents were weak in combat. Regardless of which side a hemosapien allied, there was no changing the fact that they were a hemosapien and thus was extremely powerful.
The fact that a humanoid alien monster species was somehow engaging them in battle was proof of the fact that they were dealing with something extraordinary here.
"It appears, based on our long-range surveillance, that they are able to engage with pathwalkers at all ranges, and even overwhelm them in combat," the stunned analyst said. "Not just lesser pathwalkers but even our own brethren. And not just any of our brethren. Look, My Lord!"
She pointed to a fuzzy image featuring a distant dot whose appearance had hemosapien features. frёewebnoѵēl.com
Features that they were vaguely familiar with.
"Is that Schoel?" Blood Lord Saron’s eyes sharpened. "He’s a fool who thinks hemosapiens are the equal of the other races, but he is without a doubt an elite blood warrior. How are these alien creatures possibly holding their own against him?"
"Their web fluid, based on spectrographical analysis, appears to possess large amounts of esoteric matter within them," the analyst readily supplied the answer. "It appears that this is a species that has managed to integrate esoteric matter into its physiology, producing powerful outcomes."
This was not a surprising phenomenon. In fact, it had occurred for most of the lifeforms within the Panama Continent.
Homo martialus, the primitive genetic ancestors of homo hemosapien, was among the few species that hadn’t integrated esoteric matter into their body to the extent that other species had. When species absorbed powerful esoteric matter into their body, they often gained extremely powerful abilities and biological functions that made them extremely powerful based on the properties and traits of the esoteric matter.
"More than anything else, sir, we have detected an extremely intense and powerful space-time anomaly on the other side of the planet," the analyst spoke with a serious tone of voice. "It appears that some phenomenon is warping the very fabric of space and time to such an extent that it is almost impossible to discern what is happening in this region."
The projection before him shifted to show the anomalous space-time readings that had been captured by the gravitational sensors that the stealth frigate was equipped with. The phenomenon was so powerful that it covered half the planet.
"What... what is this?" Blood Lord Saron’s eyes grew grim. "You’re telling me that this phenomenon is also being caused by a native alien monster? Are you telling me that they have entities that are so powerful that they can create such powerful space-time phenomena?"
"Not only does that appear to be true, but we have also detected the target biological signature of the target of this mission within the space-time phenomenon," the analyst remarked with a heavier tone. "We have found what we are looking for, Your Excellency."
His eyes lit up as the hemospectrographical sensor showed a red fog with a biological signature that could only belong to one person. It was so red, powerful, and vast that it by itself narrowed down the possibilities greatly.
The Blood Empress.
