Chapter 338: Chapter 205: Sea of Ultimate Destiny

The three Divine Spirits of the Jade Realm gathered.

Their gazes were all fixed on the vortex in the Golden Giant’s chest.

"My friends."

One of them, an elderly-looking Earth Element Middle Rank God, slowly began to speak.

He stood a full twenty meters tall, clad in green armor with a Divine Artifact Warhammer strapped to his back.

As he spoke, the Earth Rune Magic Ring pulsed faintly with power.

It naturally carried the might of the Rune Magic Ring.

This was a trait that could only be mastered with a 1,000-ring Magic Ring.

To master a 1,000-ring Rune Magic Ring as a Middle Rank God was a clear testament to his formidable power.

"Evil God Zorn vanished in that very spot."

"According to our Divine Kingdom’s records, that spot is supposed to be a vortex passage. It might even contain treasure, but we’ve never been able to open it."

"We don’t know how Evil God Zorn managed to open it, but we can now confirm that he has accessed this trove."

"Next, Evil God Zorn will likely acquire the top-tier treasures inside."

"We absolutely cannot allow Zorn to leave with those priceless treasures."

"I plan to report this to the Ancient Gods and request they dispatch resources and special artifacts to garrison this location and seal off the Golden Giant Statue."

"If Evil God Zorn dares to emerge, we can use these top-tier artifacts to capture him on the spot."

"At that point, all the treasures within will naturally fall into our hands."

The other two Middle Rank Gods readily agreed with this.

However, the Witch·Middle Rank God, who held a Magic Staff Divine Artifact, still looked somewhat concerned.

"But according to our intelligence, Evil God Zorn possesses a powerful means of escape: Resurrection."

"He has used this Resurrection ability multiple times to evade our attempts to strike him down and eliminate him."

"Furthermore, Zorn has already established an incredibly powerful Cosmic Magic Net."

The Witch Goddess paused at this.

News of Evil God Zorn’s Cosmic Magic Net had already spread throughout the Jade Realm recently.

It was a terrifying power, one with an extremely high affinity for the Star Realm Cosmic.

Many Divine Spirits, even if they fell in a perilous land, could use the Cosmic Magic Net to escape any bonds or restraints and then return via Resurrection.

"Even if we manage to stop Evil God Zorn here, if he can just escape through Resurrection, all our efforts will be for nothing."

Upon hearing this, the other two gods’ brows furrowed.

They had learned a great deal about Evil God Zorn’s methods recently. He was an undeniably troublesome foe.

His Ritual Fire, in particular, was something the Jade Realm found difficult to counter.

Furthermore, there were rumors that the terrifying Forbidden Curse Fungus was also linked to Evil God Zorn.

’That damn Evil God has a surprising number of tricks up his sleeve.’

After a moment of thought, the elderly Earth Element Middle Rank God spoke in a heavy tone.

"Since Evil God Zorn possesses the means of Resurrection, then... we shall use an Ancient God Artifact that counters it. We’ll let him ’properly’ resurrect within its confines."

An Ancient God Artifact.

Hearing this, the other two gods’ hearts skipped a beat. They couldn’t help but turn to look at the elderly Earth Element Middle Rank God.

An Ancient God Artifact was a treasure far rarer and more powerful than a conventional Divine Artifact.

Every single one was exceedingly rare.

Most critically, forging an Ancient God Artifact required the sacrifice of an Ancient God, or at the very least, their bones.

Even with the Jade Realm’s profound heritage...

...the number of Ancient God Artifacts they possessed was not large.

As for activating an Ancient God Artifact, the difficulty was likely extraordinary.

"The Ancient Gods will probably not grant their approval."

The Witch Goddess shook her head as she considered it.

"After all... that’s an Ancient God Artifact. It’s one of the Jade Realm’s ultimate treasures."

"Success isn’t guaranteed, but we have to at least try," the elderly Middle Rank God said slowly.

"After all, Evil God Zorn is a crucial factor in the war for the Ancient Divine Kingdom."

"If the great Ancient Gods can foresee the devastation he will cause in the river of time, they might just approve the use of such an important artifact."

"It’s certainly worth a try. Evil God Zorn’s potential for destruction is indeed significant."

The third Middle Rank God, who had yet to speak, also agreed.

"In that case, let’s report this to our superiors as quickly as possible and deal with this Evil God Zorn problem once and for all."

......

Death, silence, darkness!

A dying World of near-eternal, cold silence slowly unfolded before Zorn’s eyes.

This cold, dead World was what lay inside the Ancient Golden Giant Statue.

Gazing into the distance,

he could see tall towers and watchtowers perched atop mountain ranges.

He could see endless cityscapes stretching across the distant plains, along with several magnificent, divine structures.

He could even see the wreckage of floating islands that had yet to fall, hanging in the sky.

All of this testified to the power of the civilization that once thrived within the mysterious Golden Giant Statue.

Yet, this ancient civilization had still withered and died in the annals of time.

There was a deep history here, with much to uncover.

But now was not the time for Zorn to delve into its history.

Zorn carefully extended his senses outward through the Cosmic Magic Net.

The closed portal had greatly weakened the Cosmic Magic Net, and his Perception of distant areas was rather vague.

But Zorn could still sense what was happening nearby.

He could even detect fragments of the conversations between the various Divine Spirits.

After a short while, the tension in Zorn’s brow eased.

A faint, almost imperceptible smile even touched the corners of his lips.
