Chapter 52: Hitching a Ride
The line slowly continues to move as I ponder on the backup plan more than the current one. It feels like it would be safer to just hitch a ride instead of taking our chances at the gate.
I take one more look around before looking down below where I notice boats going towards an opening.
So that’s exactly what Morrigan is talking about with hitching a ride but won’t it be noticeable? Eh, it doesn’t matter. I’m sure it’ll all work out if we do decide to go with that plan.
We’d just have to quickly make our way down there before anyone notices what we are doing. freewebnoveℓ.com
That shouldn’t be too much of a challenge since I know we can definitely get around without being spotted. At least Lia and I can since we did it during the attack in Ariel.
I’ll probably have to help Amelia but Morrigan will probably be fine.
"Morrigan I think we should go with the backup plan instead," I whisper to her.
"Why the sudden change?" Morrigan asks with a bit of curiosity.
"It’d be a lot less risky if we did it. If we get rejected at the gates then appear inside... It’ll give us a bad look instantly," I respond while keeping my voice down.
"Fair enough. Let’s tell Lia and Amelia about the plan then," Morrigan says while moving over towards them.
After informing the two of them about the plan we quickly get out of the line and make our way over to the side of the bridge. The path down is kind of rough but it is completely doable for us.
So I gesture for Amelia to come over to me and I have her climb on my back. After that we all begin to scale down the side of the cliff.
Rocks fall past as we make our climb but I quickly realize we need to move under the bridge itself or people will see us. Without speaking I gesture towards the others to move under the bridge.
I mostly winged it with that gesture but it seems they understand what I’m saying which is the important part. Now to keep moving until we reach a spot that we can stop.
A ledge close to the bottom would be the most ideal spot for us to get to but so far I’m not seeing that at all.
At the bottom near the water it mostly slopes down into the water as if there is no real spot to get off. It got me thinking about what we could do instead here.
We’ll have to wait for a boat that’s close enough for us to jump onto. I don’t know if that’ll show up for us or not, but there are definitely plenty of boats around.
"What are we doing Dante?" Amelia whispers into my ear.
"Waiting for a boat," I respond quietly.
"Can Lia and Morrigan hold on long enough for that?" Amelia questions.
"Yes. It won’t be that long," I respond with confidence.
About five minutes pass before a boat finally arrives that is within enough distance for us to jump to it. One look over at the girls tells them that this is the opportunity we are waiting for.
Hyup!!!
I push off the side of the cliff and find myself hovering over the boat for a moment before I finally land on the back of it. It was luck that helped us today with this backup plan, but we made it.
Amelia climbed off my back and we all cautiously found a spot to hide so that we wouldn’t be seen. It ended up being a place for all of us to hide together...
"So what now?" Lia asks with a curious expression on her face.
"We are just going to wait till we dock inside," I respond while taking a seat.
"Alright. I guess that is easy to do," Lia says while taking a seat next to me.
"Just stay on your guard," I reply while keeping one hand on the hilt of my sword.
I don’t really want to make too much of a scene regardless... But I know there’s always a chance we’ll get into a fight here. Humans are too curious, especially when they think something is up.
Luckily this ship wasn’t going away from the capital and people weren’t towards the back of it either.
I do hope it isn’t like this going forward though. I don’t really want to sneak around all the time, unless it is absolutely necessary for us to do.
Just not all the time. This will do for now since we are looking to deal with the hunters here. The dragon also shouldn’t pose a problem now that we are basically inside.
Without thinking I end up closing my eyes briefly as we wait for the ship to make its way to the docks. Everything starts to vanish around me as I start to see the cabin forming in the distance.
It seems I’ll be taking a small trip down memory lane.
[Two Months in the Cabin. The past]
I can’t believe I followed her all the way out to this cabin in the middle of nowhere. At least it is kind of cozy inside of this place, but there is definitely a lot to be on guard about.
She told me her name is Mel and she knows my name as well now so I guess it is time to move forward with whatever is happening here.
"Honestly I didn’t expect to see a vampire in the flesh. It is kind of rare nowadays, especially with all the hunters around," Mel said as she took a seat.
"We don’t really go around making ourselves known," I replied before finding a seat myself.
She just smiled for a moment before taking a seat next to me.
"So you haven’t really fed on humans much, have you?" Mel questioned with a curious look in her eye.
"Not really. We tried to avoid it for the longest time," I answered without any hesitation.
She leans forward, her breasts getting harder to ignore as I looked down. I didn’t really expect to be able to see much nor was I looking originally.
Mel is quite the attractive girl and I didn’t expect any of this to happen in the first place.
"That is kind of unique. Most vampires are bloodthirsty when it comes to blood," Mel said as she brushes up against my arm.
"Ahem. Uh, why save a vampire?" I asked with a nervous tone.
"Something about finding one feels lucky. So of course I’m going to save my good luck charm," Mel responded as she stands up from the couch.
She walks away for a moment before making her way back over to me.
Everything feels quite clear on what was going to happen here but I didn’t really expect it. Mel just met me at the time and we weren’t all that close yet.
In that very moment she sits down on my lap and moves closer to me.
"Wouldn’t you say this was quite a bit of luck for you?" Mel whispers in my ear in a seductive like manner.
I could feel myself getting worked up over this a bit and it was quite obvious how I was feeling about her sitting on my lap in the moment.
"I’d say so," I respond with a calm tone in my voice.
Before I knew it she started to trace her fingers along my body before reaching my pants where she quickly unzipped them.
Of course I wasn’t going to deny such a thing as I haven’t really gotten any sort of pleasure since leaving the manor. In fact this is probably the first time I’ll really experience anything.
The moment I feel my pants come undone I feel warmth and look down to see her head moving up and down along my shaft.
I couldn’t help but enjoy the feeling as she continued sucking; it wasn’t something I ever felt before. Of course it didn’t end there since it was only just beginning.
She stood back up and quickly pulled down these white laced panties she was wearing before climbing onto my lap once again.
Except now I could feel an entirely different sensation compared to her mouth from moments ago. It was a nice tight feeling mixed with a bit of warmth as she started to ride me.
Her moans started to fill the cabin as she moved and I couldn’t help but lean forward a bit. Within moments I found myself gripping onto her ass as the pleasure got stronger between both of us.
"Dante?" A voice calls out.
My train of thought starts to shift away from the memory as I realize everything is slowly disappearing around me. In mere moments I find myself back on the boat looking at Lia in front of me.
"We’re docking now," Lia says quietly.
