Qiao Qiqi gave the little monkey another acupuncture treatment, and the little monkey fell asleep.

The three hurried to catch up.

Qiao Qiqi was tall but very slim, so carrying a big bag and a little monkey alone looked quite exhausting.

Tong Yue didn’t seem upset when she declined. Instead, he was excited because Qiao Qiqi didn’t ignore him!

In the afternoon, Liu Yang shared his food with the other two, leaving him with none. He had already requested someone to send him more, but they hadn’t arrived due to him keeping pace with Qiao Qiqi.

"Stop saying that. Miss Qiao isn’t that kind of person. What she said makes sense; she doesn’t have any extra," Tong Yue retorted, displeased, and glared at him.

Liu Yang frowned, "You’re the one begging!"

Failing to secure help and getting angry – what kind of person is that?

Wang Ming realized he had spoken out of turn, but he was too hungry.

Qiao Qiqi heard their words clearly and felt speechless. Liu Yang had shared his food with them and gained nothing in return; Miss one meal and you’ll survive. Besides, can’t they find food on their own? Relying on others even for meals? Might as well die!

Qiao Qiqi felt no sympathy for these people. Of course, if they were genuinely about to die, she wouldn’t stand by and do nothing.

But things hadn’t reached that point yet.

The little monkey was injured and afraid of the cold, constantly snuggling into Qiao Qiqi’s embrace, seemingly treating her as its mother.
