Chapter 813: "Everything Went Smoothly"
After calming down Onyx with hugs and kisses, I already began to feel better. One thing was for certain, the way Jewel taught me to absorb Psionics was busted. I just inhale Psionics naturally. It’s so much easier than what the others have to do.
Onyx hearing my natural buttering up of the hive in my head smiled and finally allowed me to stand up. Afterwards, she wasn’t quite done and was still feeling clingy. "Do we have to go back yet? I want you all to myself for a little while longer~"
Feeling her snuggling up to me, I smiled warmly and began stroking her hair. "Sure. I mean, they are probably worried about me, but we can stay here a while longer. We are in the middle of nowhere; so I doubt Drakoshi will come looking for us. Now, are you ready?"
Onyx looked up at me, her eyes narrowed like a content kitten. "Ready for what, my universe? Hehe~" She asked with an eagerness I knew all too well.
I chuckled and stroked her cheek with the back of my hand as I replied. "For your spanking."
"W-What?" She looked up at me, betrayed.
"Yeah, I made it a fixed point, remember? So brave of you to want to take it now. Remember, I want you to drop all your resistances when I coat my hand in Psionics. You actually need to feel it for the lesson to be learnt after all."
"B-But you were just teasing me right? Reminding me to hurry up? Y-You aren’t going to actually spank me right? Right?" Onyx said, looking up at me with the puppy eyes. Usually they would work, however.
"I made it a fixed point, my love. That means it has to happen. So why don’t you just get on your knees and we will get this over with?" I said calmly with a soothing tone.
Onyx backed up. "Let’s get back! You know how the humans get. So fragile with their emotions. They must be worried sick about you, why don’t we just- please. No- Noooo!"
...
"Yesss!~" Onyx cried out in delight as I finished the last spanking. Guiding her red rear off my lap, I felt dirty. She played me like a fiddle and her punishment ended up being her reward. She then gave me a victorious look before disappearing into my Mindspace.
I would be getting her back for this, I just needed to figure out a way my little stalker wouldn’t get off on being punished.
As I thought that, I could feel her goading me from the Mindspace, so I went petty mode and activated her bondage to the maximum degree, holding her still in place. Even then I knew she would enjoy it, but at least she was incapable of teasing me for a while.
Finding my shirt, I placed it back on before claiming Zircon. I rubbed my fingers slowly across her groove and smiled before whispering. "Just wait till you have a body of your own, what I will do to another hive when I have the opportunity..."
I smirked as Zircon began vibrating and I could feel Onyx lashing out in her bondage at my goading words. I simply chuckled before sending Zircon back into the Mindspace as well and began to fly back, staying as low to the ground as possible.
...
Onyx continued to thrash for a while, feigning anger until she knew Apollo was not ’observing’ her. Once he wasn’t, Onyx looked at her bondage partner and gave the sword a little wink. The plan was always to get Zircon a body. It has been from the start. Teasing Apollo was just fun. She loved his little reactions when she could read him so easily. So she would let him think he ’won.’
’Everything is going according to plan.’
...
The destruction the two groups caused had seriously pissed off the Drakoshi. It was the middle of the night and they were out in mass patrols, sometimes a single patrol being fifty large. It made sense though, we killed a lot of them as well as damaging their stability in the region.
As I approached the burnt woodland where the bunker was located, I noticed a lot of lights within. The Drakoshi were here as well, I supposed it made sense, but I could take no chances at being spotted.
Landing on the ground, I removed my armour and respecced my stats into stealth as I began to traverse the woodland with as much slyness as my tall ass could manage. Fortunately there were no close calls or incidents by the time I arrived at the bunker entrance.
I became confused for a moment as the entrance looked different to the last time I was here. I just presumed it was Rhapso’s doing with her Psionics and proceeded to shimmy my way through the small opening that was present in front of the door.
I then landed before the doors that were shut. I went to brute force my way into the bunker again, but realised there was a square biometric scanner of some type outside. Using my intuition and the fact that Astra could scan us to such an extent she could tell that some of us weren’t fully human, I took an educated guess and placed my hand against the square.
A moment later the doors opened and I hastily entered to make sure no light escaped into the darkness
"Oh you are back, thank goodness." I suddenly heard and turned towards the voice. It was Nerissa
Seeing her on guard I smiled and walked over causally. "Yeah, sorry about the delay. I flew east for a while after playing cat and mouse with them. How did your end of the mission go?"
Nerissa pointed behind herself into the bunker. "They have all been waiting to give you the debrief. But our side was not as eventful. Everything went smoothly."
I nodded my head hearing that. "Good. We don’t want combat to be frequent in these missions."
Nerissa gave me a nod back before focusing her attention back at the door. I gave her a pat on the shoulder as I passed before entering into the rest of the bunker. I returned the Gauss rifle to the armoury before making my way to the kitchen where I could hear conversation.
As I entered though, everything went silent as heads turned to me at which point Tamara smacked Morrgan in the arm, hard.
"See. I told you he was fine. Big whinger." She then took a moment to look me up and down in a surgical manner, nodding as she confirmed her statement.
Morrgan winced as he began to rub his hand. "All I said was that maybe we should check in with him. They all got back much quicker after all."
Tamara looked like she wanted to speak again, but I interjected. "So, debrief. Willow. How did things go on your end?"
Willow then immediately stood up, spilling a drink all over Rhea in the process as she swatted it accidentally out of her friend’s hand. "Perfect Apollo! We snuck in, planted the bombs on the key strategic points that Nerissa Pointed out and snuck back out without the big buggers realising we were there. We even blew up the depot once we were two miles away. We got back roughly an hour before the others did without seeing another Drakoshi on the way."
I smiled hearing that. It was perfect news. I then turned my attention to Rhapso who was fiddling with a plant of some nature. frёeωebɳovel.com
"Rhapso, I know how the mission ended, but what happened to cause the fighting to break out?" I inquired and immediately, she placed the plant down and stood up.
"The mission, much like the other group, was going perfectly. We got in and planted the explosives. I went as far as to send a group of vines down their pipes making their infrastructure to the water they were collecting useless now, but on our way out, the patrols suddenly shifted as a group of silver pauldrons arrived. We were unfortunate to be spotted. Another few seconds and we would have been clear. Still, during our retreat, we blew up the water depot alongside a great amount of Drakoshi. What happened after that you know."
I nodded my head. "Understood. More often than not, things just don’t go our way. I say we should just be thankful that no one was injured and both of our primary objectives for the day were completed."
I looked around the room, everyone was full of smiles. It made me happy to see them happy, but.
"However, let’s not allow that to get to our heads. We are behind enemy lines and outnumbered. I have seen first hand that overwhelming numbers can beat the strength of a few powerful beings. So when we get back out there tomorrow for our next mission. I don’t want these victories to go to your head. We can celebrate tonight, but afterwards. We are right back in the thick of it, our heads locked firmly on the objective. Is that understood?"
Without even a moment to look amongst themselves, everyone suddenly spoke in unison towards me.
"Yes, Sentinel."
