Chapter 14: Chapter 14: Mana-Binding Ritual (18+)

The heavy obsidian doors sealed shut. The deep thud echoed behind them.

Inside the manor, the silence was absolute. Warm violet light radiated from the crystal chandeliers. Luxurious dark carpets covered the floors. It was a palace hidden in hell.

Seraphina exhaled a long, shaky breath.

She dropped her heavy glass greatsword. It clattered against the polished stone. The adrenaline from three days of endless combat finally left her body. Her knees buckled.

Kaelen caught her instantly. His arm wrapped firmly around her waist.

"You did well, Vanguard," Kaelen whispered.

"I’m covered in filth, Master," she murmured, leaning heavily against his chest.

"So am I," Kaelen said. He unbuckled his tattered leather vest and let it fall. "Take the armor off, Seraphina."

She didn’t hesitate. With trembling fingers, she take off her borrowed chainmail. It slid off her shoulders and crashed to the floor. She stood before him in only a torn, sweat-soaked white tunic. The thin fabric clung tightly to her curves.

Kaelen led her deeper into the manor.

They walked down a wide hallway and entered a massive bathing chamber. Smooth, dark marble lined the walls. A sunken pool of crystal-clear water steamed in the center, heated by dormant thermal runes.

Kaelen stepped into the hot water. He didn’t bother taking off his boots or trousers. He pulled Seraphina directly in with him.

The heat was euphoric. It washed away the grime and the bone-deep chill of the Chasm.

Seraphina let out a soft moan of relief. She sank into the water.

Kaelen reached out and grabbed the hem of her ruined tunic. With a swift tug, he pulled the soaking fabric over her head and tossed it aside.

She was completely bare before him.

Her physique was breathtaking. Flawless, pale skin wrapped around a terrifyingly strong, toned body. Her heavy breasts rose and fell rapidly. The cold air hardened her peaks perfectly.

Seraphina crossed her arms, a lingering habit of Church modesty.

"Don’t hide from me," Kaelen commanded softly, pulling her arms down to her sides. "You are mine now. Every inch of you."

"Yes, Master," she breathed out. Her golden eyes fluttered, leaning into his touch.

But Kaelen was analyzing. He activated his Abyssal Aura.

His violet eyes pierced through her physical flesh to see her raw mana circuit. What he saw made him frown. freēwēbηovel.c૦m

Faint, sickly yellow veins of holy magic still clung tightly to her heart and lower stomach. The Church’s indoctrination was incredibly stubborn. It was actively fighting his void magic, fracturing her core from the inside out.

"Your circuit is still damaged," Kaelen observed coldly. His gaze dropped to her lower abdomen.

"It hurts," Seraphina admitted softly. She waded closer, wrapping her pale arms around his neck, pressing her bare breasts firmly against his chest. "The holy magic rejects the dark, It feels like burning needles."

"You were a Level 85 Saintess," Kaelen said. His hands traced her spine, moving lower to grip her soft hips. "The Church poured twenty years of light into your soul. Surface-level kisses will not erase that."

"Then what will?" she asked with desperate loyalty. Her breathing hitched as his fingers brushed against her slick center beneath the water.

"A complete overwrite," Kaelen answered darkly. "A true Mana-Binding."

He tilted her chin up, capturing her lips in a deep, punishing kiss.

Seraphina gasped against his mouth, and Kaelen took absolute control.

He backed her against the smooth marble wall of the pool. He lifted her easily by her thighs, knowing that Seraphina reacted instantly. She wrapped her long, bare legs tightly around his waist to anchor herself.

Kaelen violently opened his own mana circuit. He created a massive, vacuum-like pull.

He guided his rigid length to her wet entrance. She was incredibly slick, begging for his touch. With one smooth, powerful thrust, he buried himself entirely inside of her.

Seraphina threw her head back and screamed.

"MMmh!!"

The intimacy was overwhelming. It was the complete, violent intertwining of their souls.

Kaelen felt the sickly yellow magic inside her womb. He ordered his void magic to attack it. Every time he pulled back and thrust deep inside her, a surge of pure abyssal energy flooded her core.

The dark magic ruthlessly hunted down the Church’s indoctrination. It ripped the holy light from her heart and devoured it entirely.

"Kaelen!" Seraphina sobbed with pleasure. Her fingernails dug deep into his shoulders.

The pain vanished. It was instantly replaced by the scorching, euphoric heat of his void mana filling her empty spaces. It felt like liquid fire melting her from the inside out.

He set a brutal, relentless pace. The water sloshed violently against the marble walls.

"Give it to me," Kaelen growled against her neck. He bit down gently on her collarbone. "Give me your strength."

"Take it!" she cried out, her body trembling uncontrollably. "It is yours! I am yours!"

Kaelen pushed deeper, hitting her deepest spot. He triggered the absolute peak of the [Stat Devourer] skill.

"Kyahh..!" Seraphina climaxed violently. Her inner walls clenched around him with terrifying, superhuman strength. A muffled cry escaped into his mouth. Kaelen followed a second later. He poured his hot seed and pure void mana directly into her core, completely sealing the bond.

The system interface exploded with golden notifications.

Kaelen broke the kiss. He threw his head back and roared.

The physical backlash was monstrous. His bones cracked and reshaped. His muscle fibers rapidly tore and rebuilt, becoming infinitely more dense. He had just permanently absorbed the raw physical strength of a Level 85 Paladin. ƒreewebɳovel.com

The water in the pool boiled violently. The pressure of his new stats caused the marble floor to spiderweb with deep cracks.

Slowly, the heat faded. The boiling water calmed.

Kaelen opened his eyes. His body felt packed with explosive kinetic energy. If he punched a boulder right now, it would turn to dust.

He looked down at Seraphina.

She panted heavily against his chest. Her skin was flushed a beautiful crimson. The sickly yellow veins were completely gone. Her golden eyes glowed with dark, predatory lust. She was fully bound to him.

"My King," she whispered softly. Her absolute submission was undeniable.

"You are clean," Kaelen stated. He brushed a wet strand of hair from her face.

He withdrew from her and scooped her up into his arms. Her dense, muscular weight felt entirely insignificant now. He carried her out of the bath, water dripping onto the obsidian floor.

They moved to the master bedroom. Kaelen laid her gently on the sprawling, silk-lined bed. The exhaustion of the ritual claimed her. Seraphina fell into a deep, dreamless sleep instantly.

But Kaelen did not sleep.

He pulled the silk sheets over her bare body, then sat on the edge of the bed. He opened his system interface, his strength stat was monstrous. He had an impenetrable base and a loyal Vanguard.

But they had a massive problem.

Kaelen checked the resource tabs. "The Core provides shelter and monsters," he muttered to the quiet room. "But it doesn’t provide food, steel, or basic supplies."

It was a fatal flaw. They could not eat goblin flesh forever. Seraphina needed a weapon forged by a master blacksmith, not a chipped piece of glass. A kingdom could not survive without a supply line.

Kaelen looked toward the ceiling. Thousands of feet above them was the capital city of Aethelgard. It swarmed with Vanguard Templars and Inquisitors who thought Kaelen Vance was dead.

A dark, dangerous smile spread across his face. He closed the interface.

"I need to disguise," Kaelen whispered to the dark. "Tomorrow, I’ll climbed up."
