Chapter 694: Think About It Carefully.

The eyes of Monarch Bull Strength lit up with excitement as she said, "Please tell me that you want to take the medium world."

The shadowy figure from the Nexus of Truth Sect shook his head and said to Monarch Bull Strength, "Are you blind, or have you forgotten that this is the guy who killed six pursuers and used their Divine Metacs to gain four Divine Positions?"

"Just look at his holy flame, and you will see four Divine Positions in there. Do you have four Divine Positions to contend with him, or are you just suicidal?"

The shadowy figure said all of these to discourage her from fighting, but the more she heard, the brighter her eyes became.

Her eyes were shining as she said, "So that’s him. The new Golden Body has broken the record for how many Divine Positions a rank 6 cultivator has. I want to fight him even more."

Then she said to the shadowy figure, "The fact that he has four Divine Positions doesn’t mean he can use all of them. I doubt he can combine all four of them for an ultimate move. He probably can only use one Divine Metac at a time, so he is no better than I am."

"Plus, there are five of us and only one of him. We have all the advantages here, so we should be able to beat him."

But Monarch Talisman Paper shook his head and said, "His six pursuers also had the advantage in numbers, and he was limited to one Divine Position, too. Yet, they still died."

The last divine being among them, Monarch Thousand Cuts, said, "All six of them died. None of them could escape. Do you know how difficult it is to achieve something like that?"

Loki remembered this last divine being because he had killed him two timelines ago during his hunting spree. Now that he saw his prey again, he couldn’t help but remember the fond memories of the hunt and the loot that he gained after the hunt.

This made him grin as he said, ’It seems I will enjoy this.’

His grin put an end to the discussion among the divine beings. They looked at him warily as they stepped away from him.

Monarch Astral Body rolled her eyes at him and said, "Do you really want to take this medium world? Before you answer that question, I want you to know that the sect will punish you for stealing from them by taking some of your divine merit points."

"You should know the sect, so you should expect that the sect will surely take far more than the normal value of the medium world from you. You should expect to lay around 2,000 divine merit points for it."

"If you don’t have that many divine merit points, don’t even think about taking this medium world, or the sect will strip you of your Divine Positions and enslave your soul to repay the debt. Seeing as you’re still at rank 6, I am willing to o bet that you don’t have 2,000 merit points."

"So think about it carefully. Do you still want to take this medium world?"

Loki nodded in reply and said, "Yes."

In response to what he said, she threw her hands up and said, "Well, I give up. If you want to do, go and die. I would have preferred it if you had picked an option that wouldn’t involve me, but I guess you’re strong enough to be willful about how you want to die."

"Anyway, have it your way. As for me, I will not be a part of this."

This was the last thing she said before she turned to leave.

She wasn’t the only one to leave, though. Nearly everyone left the scene. Only Monarch Bull Strength remained.

She remained because she wanted to fight him, not because she wanted to stop him from taking the medium world. As someone who thought that the hype around the new Gold Body was inflated and wanted to prove her point by fighting Gold Body to a standstill, this was a good opportunity for her to do so.

Unfortunately, she too lost her courage like everyone else. She decided not to fight him because he was clearly someone who was suicidal or sick in the head.

She didn’t know which of these three reasons was why he wanted to take the medium world, but she knew that she wasn’t crazy enough, or suicidal enough, or had enough of an extraordinary plan to pull it off.

These are aspects that she was willing to concede defeat in. Since she had already conceded defeat in three areas, conceding defeat in one more area and admitting that Gold Body might be stronger than her wasn’t such an unbearable thing.

So after thinking about it, she decided to give up. She flew away too quickly, even though she would be punished later for abandoning her post.

Loki watched them go with a hint of amusement in his eyes. After the last one left, he said to himself, ’They are lucky that they are not my main goal, and I don’t want any delays or distractions. If not, I might consider killing and eating them.’

As he spoke, he stepped up to the crystal shield of the medium world. Then he began punching it.

His two fists smashed into the crystal shield with his full power, so it cracked quickly. The crystal shield had jsir suffered under the onslaught of Monarch Golden Lion, so its structural integrity wasn’t at its peak. This made it easy for him to break it open.

In just three seconds, he had created a gap in the crystal shield for him to pass through. He immediately pushed headfirst into this gap and wormed his way into the world.
