Chapter 1290: Heavenly Potion Pavilion

"The complete Earth’s Tear."

The effects of the Earth’s Tear potion were remarkable. It was exceptionally effective for experts at the Eighth Shackle Realm.

The Eighth Shackle Realm focused on enhancing an expert’s physical body to a higher level. During this process, a large portion of the expert’s mana reserves was consumed to strengthen the body. If an expert’s mana reserves were insufficient, their mana pool could collapse if they weren’t careful.

The Earth’s Tear helped reduce the loss of mana reserves, decreasing the risk of a mana pool collapse by fifty percent. It also acted as a secondary reservoir. Whenever the expert’s mana pool was depleted, the stored mana within the Earth’s Tear would replenish it.

That was the potion’s primary effect.

Of course, experts below the Eighth Shackle Realm could also consume the Earth’s Tear, but its effects were far less pronounced. After all, the potion had been created specifically to assist Eighth Shackle Realm experts.

"Let’s test it."

Isabella smiled as she picked up the bottle and uncorked it.

Then, she drank the entire contents in one gulp.

Gulp!

Isabella drank the potion in a single swallow.

She slowly closed her eyes, carefully sensing every change occurring within her body.

The medicinal energy spread rapidly through her meridians before converging toward her mana pool.

A warm sensation bloomed deep inside her.

Without hesitation, she circulated her mana. The mana flowed repeatedly through every fiber of her muscles, bones, organs, and meridians, guiding the medicinal energy throughout her entire body while refining its effects.

Ohm!!

The atmosphere inside the room shifted.

The surrounding mana gathered toward Isabella, forming gentle ripples that spread across the laboratory.

The deep golden energy from the potion continued to merge with her body, strengthening and nourishing it from within.

Several moments later, Isabella slowly opened her eyes.

A satisfied smile appeared on her face.

"It’s even better than I imagined."

The potion had exceeded her expectations.

Not only was its efficacy stable, but its absorption rate was also far higher than her calculations.

Just as she was about to examine herself further, she glanced toward the window.

"Oh...?"

The sky outside had already darkened.

Only then did she realize that nearly an hour had passed since she consumed the Earth’s Tear potion.

"I’ll need to produce several more batches."

She looked at the remaining bottle with a thoughtful expression.

"Unfortunately... gathering the ingredients won’t be easy."

The required herbs were exceptionally rare. Some only grew in dangerous regions. Others appeared once every several decades.

Even with the Heavenly Potion Pavilion’s vast resources, collecting enough materials would take considerable time.

She let out a quiet sigh. fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm

"Erkigal still hasn’t returned..."

Her brows furrowed slightly.

"It’s already been more than two weeks since she left."

As the Pavilion Master, Isabella couldn’t simply leave. Countless matters required her attention every day, and there was currently no one capable of managing the Heavenly Potion Pavilion in her absence.

Her thoughts drifted elsewhere.

"Souta activated the parasite."

A faint smile appeared on her face.

"That means he’s finally back."

Her expression soon turned thoughtful.

"I wonder what happened... It took him several months before he finally used the parasite as a signal."

She gently shook her head.

There was no point dwelling on unanswered questions.

Leaving the laboratory, Isabella walked through several quiet corridors before arriving at the pavilion’s grand audience hall.

A luxurious crimson carpet stretched from the entrance to a raised platform at the far end. Elegant banners bearing the Heavenly Potion Pavilion’s insignia hung along both walls. Magnificent crystal chandeliers illuminated the hall with a warm, gentle glow. At the end of the platform stood an ornate chair reserved exclusively for the Pavilion Master.

Isabella ascended the steps and calmly took her seat.

Her gentle expression disappeared, replaced by the composed dignity expected of the master of one of the Great Shen Empire’s most influential organizations.

Then she summoned one of her subordinates.

After a few moments, the doors to the hall opened.

A graceful woman with long black hair and fair skin stepped inside before respectfully bowing.

"Pavilion Master, you summoned me."

Isabella gave a slight nod.

"I’ve been completely occupied with my research."

She rested her chin on one hand.

"I haven’t had the time to pay attention to the pavilion’s affairs. Tell me what’s been happening."

The woman straightened herself before giving her report.

"Nothing major has occurred, Pavilion Master. Most of the surrounding factions have remained within their own territories."

She paused briefly.

"However, the Nature Pill Association has begun releasing several new medicinal pills in an attempt to compete with us in the market."

Isabella sighed inwardly.

Business affairs had never been her specialty. Her talent lay solely in researching formulas and refining potions. Fortunately, the Heavenly Potion Pavilion was filled with capable subordinates who excelled in commerce and management. Without them, the organization would have been impossible to maintain.

She lightly waved her hand.

"Continue."

The woman nodded.

"Eilan traveled to the nearby Tonghe City to participate in the Great Martial Arts Tournament hosted by the Fire Cloud Sect. Judging by the schedule, she should return in about two days."

"Eilan..." Isabella gently massaged her temples.

A trace of helplessness appeared on her face.

She could already imagine Eilan causing trouble wherever she went.

Eilan was obsessed with becoming stronger.

He trained from dawn until dusk and constantly sought out powerful experts to hone his skills. It was only natural for people to desire greater strength, but Eilan’s obsession had reached the point where it was damaging his own body.

He pushed himself so relentlessly that every training session left him more battered than before.

Isabella knew that Eilan had recovered some of his memories. Eilish’s death had broken something inside him, and the effects were far from good.

’I’ll bring him to Souta later. I think only Souta can bring him back to his senses,’ she thought.

During the great battle several months ago, Eilan had been one of the few survivors of the demons’ attack. Erkigal had saved him, and when Isabella met the two of them afterward, they decided to stay together.

Recalling the great battle from several months ago, Isabella couldn’t help but sigh.

That battle had been a tragedy.

Too many lives had been lost.

Not only on their side...

But on the enemy’s as well.

...

Five days passed in the blink of an eye.

Blood Realm.

Inside a vast crimson castle, an old man sat upon an imposing throne. His sharp features and dignified bearing exuded the majesty of a king. Even while seated, an immense aura quietly radiated from his body, causing the surrounding space to tremble ever so slightly.

He was Tasman Everlasting, the King of the Everlasting Kingdom.

Following his agreement with Souta to stand together against the coming calamity, Tasman had brought the elite forces of the Everlasting Kingdom into the Blood Realm.

There, he had accepted the Dark-grade artifact, [Nightmare Mask].

Through it, he established a connection with the Blood Realm’s core, allowing him to gain the legendary Dream Power.

His cultivation had advanced considerably over the past few months.

More importantly, his understanding of the Dream Power had deepened with each passing day.

Tasman slowly rose from his throne and walked toward the towering windows overlooking the crimson landscape beyond.

His gaze swept across the endless blood-red sky.

"It’s been five days since the battle in the Depths of Banquet..."

His voice echoed softly through the empty throne room.

"The gathering will begin soon."

This assembly would be unlike any before it.

Since the Blood Realm’s creation, it would be the largest gathering ever held. The realm had finally stabilized. Its expansion had ceased, and the world itself had become far more complete than before. At the same time, many new members had joined. Some of them possessed strength that even surpassed his own.

As the King of the Everlasting Kingdom, Tasman would have been lying if he claimed he wasn’t concerned.

Powerful individuals often came with powerful ambitions.

Whether they could truly coexist peacefully remained to be seen.

Even so, his worries only lasted for a moment.

A faint smile appeared on his face.

He looked toward the distant horizon.

Tasman had witnessed Souta accomplish great feats. Against overwhelming odds, the young monster had always found a way to prevail. Because of that, he had complete faith in him.

The only thing left to do now...

Was attend the gathering and see what kind of future Souta intended to forge for the Blood Realm.

"Those people aren’t weak."

Tasman folded his arms as he gazed into the crimson horizon.

"They ruled powerful territories before their lands were conquered by force."

A thoughtful look crossed his face.

"Their circumstances are quite different from mine."

Unlike him, they hadn’t willingly joined Souta from the beginning.

Some had been defeated.

Others had surrendered after witnessing his overwhelming power.

Whether they had truly accepted their new ruler remained uncertain.

After a moment of silence, Tasman spoke again.

"I wonder if Souta intends to reveal the existence of the calamity."

His expression gradually turned solemn.

The calamity was not something that could be spoken of casually.

Its very existence was a forbidden truth.

A secret that carried an invisible danger. Merely learning of it was enough to corrupt the minds of ordinary beings. Those with weak wills would slowly lose themselves. Some would descend into madness. Others would become twisted beyond recognition. Even powerful experts could be affected if they lacked sufficient mental strength.

Because of that, knowledge regarding the calamity had always been carefully restricted.

Only those powerful enough to bear its burden were allowed to know.

Tasman let out a slow breath.

"No..."

He shook his head.

"Souta understands the consequences better than anyone."

If the secret was revealed recklessly, panic would spread long before the calamity itself ever arrived.

The enemy would not need to destroy civilization.

Its mere existence was already enough to unravel countless minds.

For that reason, Tasman believed Souta would choose his words carefully.

Some truths...

Were simply too dangerous to be known by everyone.
