’’I agree,’’ Lu Xian looked at her deeply, ’’I agree to this deal but you have to agree to my conditions as well.’’

’’Oh? What are your conditions?"

’’Don’t forget your words later. You said that your target is Ryle only and I want Daisy. I don’t care about what you do to Ryle once you get your hands on him but Daisy is entirely mine. I don’t wish for her to be harmed in any way.’’

The woman looked at him thoughtfully but Lu Xian spoke again, his voice more resolute this time, ’’If you are reluctant about this then we can call this deal off right this instant.’’

’’Of course not,’’ the woman placed her palm on his chest as she leaned in towards him, her fingers sliding inside his robe, ’’Why would I be reluctant? I have nothing to do with that woman. You can have her all you want. But before you get to her, can’t we have some fun?"

Lu Xian’s face darkened. He held her hand and pushed it away lightly, ’’This is a deal. You cross me and I won’t let you go.’’

’’Oh my!" the woman giggled, ’’I don’t want you to let me go as well,’’ she reached her hand towards him again.

But Lu Xian’s eyes darkened, ’’Daisy can sleep with Ryle. Can’t you have some fun before you get to her? You are boring,’’ the woman sighed, ’’But anyways, happy partnership.’’

She turned to leave but suddenly she paused in her tracks, ’’Don’t give her any shares from the Lu Corporations no matter what.’’

Lu Xian looked at her, ’’You are not in the place to talk about those things. What I do with my company, my shares are none of your business. You talk about your plans and that will be better for the both of us.’’

The woman turned to look at him, ’’Since you won’t listen to me, you can transfer your shares to her but make sure to keep her under your control. She is not a foolish woman, nothing to be trifled with.’’

Lu Xian did not respond to her words. He did not need to know from others what kind of person Daisy was. All this time, every moment he had spent in her presence, he had gotten to know her more and more. And the more he knew, the further he was obsessed with her. It was not that he had not come across beautiful women before but nobody entranced him the way Daisy did. The way she looked, the way she talked, the way she thought, everything about her fascinated him.

’’What do you plan to do?" Lu Xian questioned the woman, ’’And when are you intending to start?"

’’Hmm,’’ the woman sighed, ’’Think about the one secret that you have kept from Daisy all this time. We will start from there.’’

When Lu Xian heard that, his face changed. It was not a major secret but he had never told Daisy about it. He had just dropped a clue once and left her guessing about it. He did not expect anyone to know about the matter.

The woman waved her hand at him and walked away slowly, sashaying her hips while Lu Xian stood there, dumbstruck at everything that transpired. No matter how he thought, he could not fathom how the woman seemed to know of everything that transpired around them.

Back in Chen Mansion.

Daisy did not have a single about the events that were transpiring behind her back.

After disconnecting the call with Lu Xian, she rolled on the bed for some time. Then, she took a shower and freshened up.

She checked her phone and responded to a few work related emails before going out.

’’Mommy...’’ Angel rushed towards Daisy and hugged her knees as soon as she spotted her.

Daisy squatted and picked up the little girl, hugging her tightly. The past few days, even the weeks, she had been so busy that she barely got some time with Angel. It was not an abnormal thing but for a person like her who was initially away from her child and then got to spend every waking hour of her day in the presence of the little bundle of warmth, Daisy felt rather reluctant.

’’What did you do while Mommy was sleepy?" Daisy snuck a peek around the living room but did not find Ryle anywhere.

The television was still on and Angel was playing in the presence of the servants. When she looked towards Butler, the old man had a huge smile on his face as he pointed both his palms towards the kitchen.

’’Bweakfaast... Raeeel play play... Snow snow,’’ Angel pointed her tiny fingers towards the television.

Daisy looked back in the direction once again and noticed that snow white was playing on the television.

’’Go, watch,’’ Daisy placed her down and rubbed her hair.

’’Mommy watch...’’ the little girl looked up at Daisy with twinkling eyes.

Daisy squatted on the floor and kissed the little girl’s forehead, ’’You go watch... Mommy will join you some time. I will go check up on Ryle.’’

Angel bobbed her head up and down like an obedient doll and wobbled back to the television.

’’Is he in the kitchen?"

The butler nodded, ’’Yes. He was initially feeding little miss but after feeding her, he decided to go to kitchen,’’ the butler awkwardly scratched his neck suddenly as if he had no idea about how to explain the further scenario.

Daisy’s brows tugged together. She had slept for a few extra hours but why did it seem like she had missed some important detail while she was sleepin?

When she went to the kitchen, she realized why the Butler had that weird expressions.

Ryle’s elite bodyguards were all standing in a queue looking at the man with reluctance. The main cook and the assistant cooks of the mansion were all sweating as well, trapped in the huge crowd. They seemed to feel like their moves were being tracked and lastly, Aunty Lu was also panicking.

’’Master, I will do it. You can just instruct me. It will be the same as you doing it,’’ Aunty Lu insisted.

Ryle turned the woman down with the raise of his palm.

Daisy could understand the scenario. Usually, Ryle also cooked back in his mansion but he usually cooked before Aunty Lu’s arrival. After Aunty Lu came, she did not let Ryle or Daisy step inside the kitchen.

As for the guards, they were probably concerned about Ryle’s safety since it was an unfamiliar place. Even though they might trust her, but there were many unfamiliar servants in the Chen Mansion so it was only natural for them to doubt their intentions.

’’You all can leave. I will help him,’’ Daisy spoke up.

Hearing her voice, all the people looked towards Daisy, including Ryle.

The cooks also looked up at her with their eyes almost tearing up just at the sight of their Elder miss. They felt like they had seen their messiah.

Ryle’s elite guards also retreated.

Aunty Lu hugged her and greeted her since she was seeing her after a long time. She had arrived yesterday but Daisy was not around and when Daisy came back, Aunty Lu had been sleeping.

After exchanging a few pleasantries, Aunty Lu also left.

’’What are you doing?" Daisy finally approached the man who was standing on the other side of the kitchen counter and glanced at the strawberries in front of him.

’’I was planning to make some strawberry cupcakes,’’ he dipped his finger in the batter and brought it to her mouth.

Daisy gave him a look but in the end, she opened her mouth.

Following that, Ryle did not waste a second in putting his finger in her mouth.

Daisy’s face turned a little red.

’’Taste it. What are you blushing for, naughty girl?" Ryle reprimanded softly as his finger moved a bit in her mouth.

Daisy nodded, ’’Good.’’

’’Let me taste it too,’’ the man grabbed the back of her neck and captured her lips. His tongue slid inside her mouth but just as she wrapped her arms around his neck, he pulled back, ’’Very very naughty. I was just tasting how it is.’’

Daisy’s jaw dropped slightly as the man pulled back and went back to focus on his cupcakes.

Ryle acted as if he did not see the sulking woman.
