Chapter 117: Biological father

Daisy did not want to protect Angel to the extent that she did not even get to see the world. There will always be dangers but that did not mean that she would be keeping the little girl locked in the house forever.

’’Little princess, come out, we are going to play.’’

’’Play... play? Raeeel...’’

When Angel heard Ryle’s voice, she stumbled towards him with a few little dresses hanging from both her shoulders. She looked at her mother warily as if afraid that she was still angry and slowly bumped into Ryle’s knees. freewebnσvel.cøm

Ryle did not waste a second in hoisting the girl up in the air.

As she giggled, she raised both her hands as if she was flying and the dresses in her hand started falling on the floor.

But suddenly, Ryle’s vision went dark as something covered his eyes as well. He grabbed the thing and looked at it, only to be greeted by the sight of a black lacy bra.

Daisy woke up from her stupor and snatched the bra from the man’s hand in a split second as she felt her face heating up.

Ryle coughed, ’’Yes, we are going to play.’’

Immediately, the little girl’s emerald eyes sparkled as she laid her head on Ryle’s shoulder lazily and looked at her mother, even swaying her little legs as if she was unafraid.

Daisy did not whether to laugh or cry. Why was the little one becoming more and more sly with time?

Hence, what Daisy thought was a trip of two became a trip of three. She thought that the man had said that they are going to play to coax Angel but she did not expect him to tag along with them for real.

And as if it was a normal occurrence, the man even proceeded to make arrangements to empty the amusement park.

’’What are you doing?" Daisy stopped him.

’’Too much crowd.’’

’’What would she see if the whole place is empty?" What would be the point of bringing Angel out if she was going to acclimatized to the same faces just in a new environment.

Daisy thought she succeeded in convincing the man but when she forgot how stubborn the man seemed to be.

The amusement park was not entirely empty but there were very few people inside. And if one observed more, they would notice that the people inside all were skinny and gentle young ladies, old people, and some little children.

Instead of looking like a real amusement park, it seemed more like a constructed park like kids do in their school projects and even place a few stick figures to symbolize the people in the park.

She felt a headache.

At least, the bodyguards were not following them like little trails. Since she was there, she asked him to not bring anyone if he did not want to. She had made her arrangements. Daisy touched the waistline of her dress and traced the gun.

The group of three explored the place and maybe because the place was not crowded, Daisy felt a lot of gazes on them. She checked her dress twice to make sure that her weapons were not visible but soon, she understood why the attention was coming their way.

She turned to glance at Ryle who was still dressed in the black suit that he had worn to work and coincidentally, Angel also picked a little black dress for herself after a lot of fussing around. The two of them together looked rather eye catching in one frame.

And with Ryle’s aura, his gaze turned murderous any moment someone came too close so it was like wherever he stepped, a path was made.

Daisy naturally excluded herself out of the frame, not realizing that the three of them together looked like a beautiful family.

When they crossed a particular stall, Angel became restless in Ryle’s arms.

Daisy followed her gaze and looked at the balloon pop activity at a little distance. fгeewebnovёl.com

As they approached the stall, they noticed that it was a simple ’balloon pop’ game. Balloons with different numbers printed on them were attached to the sides of a wheel with some distance between them. The shop owner would rotate the wheel and one has to shoot the balloon to get the object or toy with the corresponding number.

Angel’s gaze was unwaveringly fixated on the miniature rabbit and fox couple.

Ryle did not waste any time and proceeded to take out a black card.

Daisy’s lips twitched. "You... Put it inside,’’ They did not seem to have been targeted by anyone in this place so far but with the man’s actions, it would not be long before scoundrels would come drooling for his unlimited wealth.

Ryle was bewildered, ’’Do they not accept cards?"

’’No no, we don’t,’’ the owner waved his hand. Of course, the man did not seem to know the value of a black card.

Ryle’s face turned cold. What godforsaken place was that?

Daisy somehow found his reaction adorable as she watched him getting angry but being unable to do anything as Angel was almost hanging down from his arms like a little monkey to reach out for the rabbit and fox miniature.

She placed a few notes and took the gun but the little girl began wheedling again, asking for the gun.

’’You want to shoot?" Daisy naturally handed the gun to the little girl who could not even hold it properly even though it was as light as cotton.

’’What’s with that look? Are you underestimating her skills?"

Those who did not know better would think he was Angel’s biological father she was an evil stepmother.

Ryle quickly adjusted Angel’s grip and held the gun to support her tiny hand. As the man rotated the wheel, the position of the balloons almost seemed blurry.
