Chapter 403: Chapter 274: So This Is the Zombie God? Not Bad at All

It was a humanoid monster over thirty feet tall, its body a twisted mass of flesh and frost. It raised its hands high and brought them crashing down onto the ground covered by the Array.

BOOM!

Countless gray threads formed a large net, attempting to block the attack from the dwarf-controlled monster. However, the instant they touched the monster’s fists, they were frozen solid before shattering into dust.

The entire ground shook. The immense impact instantly obliterated all the gray threads that had just appeared.

Fu Ming’s expression tightened at the sight. ’The Array is broken!’

’These two guys are starting to use their full strength, holding nothing back.’

The moment the Array shattered, the heads on Huai Du’s back roared. The massive sound wave generated a powerful thrust, and Huai Du’s twenty-foot-plus frame vanished in an instant.

A terrifying force warped the very air.

Huai Du’s figure appeared before Yang An in a flash, and he lashed out with a backhand punch.

However, a final layer of gray threads still enveloped Yang An. The first punch shattered them completely, and another immediately followed, aimed straight for Yang An.

BOOM!

But the punch never landed on Yang An. Just as it was about to make contact, a mass of tentacles intercepted it.

The countless tentacles formed a thick, unyielding wall, completely halting Huai Du’s terrifying blow. It absorbed the full might of the impact, not allowing the slightest shockwave to escape.

Behind Yang An stood another figure, also over twenty feet tall.

Its face was obscured by a distortion, making its features impossible to discern. Through the shimmering haze, however, a hollow, single eye was visible.

On its forehead was a tiny face: Fu Ming.

Countless tentacles cascaded down from the creature’s back, forming the very wall that now protected Yang An.

Fu Ming’s eyes blazed with murderous intent, as if he were beginning to lose his mind.

The tentacles surged up, instantly coiling around Huai Du’s arm. They burrowed into his flesh and forced their way into the mouths of the heads on his body.

Huai Du tried to fight back, but the tentacles held him fast. No matter how much he struggled, he could do little more than tremble, unable to land another blow.

The heads on his body began to spew flames in an attempt to set the tentacles ablaze.

At the same time, however, Fu Ming’s own body burst into a raging inferno, the fire instantly surging along the tentacles.

RUMBLE!

The two massive torrents of fire slammed into each other, but Fu Ming’s flames overpowered Huai Du’s, forcing him back step by step.

Amidst the violent waves of gray flame, Fu Ming struck out with a palm, sending Huai Du’s massive frame flying.

It all happened in a flash. Huai Du slammed into the dwarf’s monster, and the two colossal creatures staggered backward in unison, gouging deep furrows into the earth.

Before they could regain their footing, Fu Ming was on them. A massive tentacle shot out, skewering them both.

It pierced through Huai Du’s body and then straight into the larger monster behind him.

Instantly, countless writhing tentacles sprouted from within the bodies of Huai Du and the monster, like seeds taking root. They erupted from their skin as grotesque tumors, frantically devouring their flesh.

The monster roared and Huai Du shrieked in agony. An instant later, a violent flame erupted from within their bodies, detonating all the fleshy tumors.

BOOOOOOM—

A torrent of blood created an explosive field, annihilating everything within it and coalescing into a giant, gray fireball.

Two gray shadows shot out of the fireball, fleeing rapidly into the distance.

Several breaths later, the flames finally vanished. The scene left behind was one of utter devastation. Bloodstains, burned to a dark gray, were everywhere. Shreds of flesh had melted into the soil, leaving behind a massive crater.

Fu Ming’s body began reverting to its normal state, but he coughed up blood as the severed tentacles retracted back into his body.

He stared into the distance, confirming that the last attack had, for the moment, robbed Huai Du and the dwarf of their ability to fight.

He glanced back at Yang An. Seeing that he was completely unharmed, Fu Ming finally let out a sigh of relief.

"Junior Brother, you need to be a little faster. If more people show up, I might not be able to hold on for much longer."

Spitting out the last mouthful of blood, Fu Ming forced his body back to its normal state. freeweɓnovel.cøm

’In that state, my sanity wouldn’t last long. If I lost control, I’d end up like Wild Forbidden and the others—lost to madness for a long time.’

Wild Forbidden and his men had been caught in the crossfire. Originally restrained by the Array Fu Ming had set up, they were then used as human shields during the fight. Now, though they had all returned to their normal forms, they were unconscious, lying scattered across the ground.

Fu Ming paid them no mind, simply walking over to the bonfire and sitting down.

Despite the ferocious battle, the bonfire still burned steadily. It hadn’t been extinguished and continued to cast a gray, fiery glow. freēwēbnovel.com

The moment Fu Ming sat down, his body began to tremble uncontrollably. Countless tiny, maggot-like tentacles erupted all over him, and he began to spit up blood once more.
