Mr. Jiu was getting into it, groping her with gusto, when he suddenly felt a chilling aura wash over him. An intense discomfort settled in, as if some force was sucking the warmth from his body.
Startled, Mr. Jiu was about to let go of Xu Wenwan’s hand.
But just then, Xu Wenwan squeezed his hand back, her voice tinged with an indescribable shyness.
"Mr. Jiu, as long as you don’t make me pay, I’ll do anything. You know my family’s situation. I don’t have any money left."
Mr. Jiu’s heart skipped a beat as her delicate fingers caressed him. Lust clouded his mind, and he no longer cared about the strange chill. He simply pulled Xu Wenwan into his arms.

The men outside had been straining their ears to hear what was happening inside, but after a while with no shouting, they saw Xu Wenwan suddenly run out, clothes in disarray, and immediately started to jeer.
Xu Wenwan shot them a glare and dashed outside.
Liu Zi, the one who had spoken to Xu Wenwan earlier, and his companion exchanged a look and gave chase.
Outside, Xu Wenwan had barely gotten far when Liu Zi and his companion caught up to her.
