Xu Chongshan hauled Yun Hao to his feet and asked.
Yun Hao gritted his teeth. "I’m fine."
The instant he spoke, Xu Chongshan shoved the bicycle into Yun Hao’s hands, his tone composed. "Then that’s fine. Hurry up and take my sister away!"
He really couldn’t take it anymore. He felt humiliated for every additional second the two of them lingered here.
Village Chief Xu glanced at his bicycle, his heart aching. If he’d known Yun Hao would manage to fall off a bike, he never would have lent it out yesterday.
Resisting the urge to demand his bicycle back, he waved them away, urging them to leave quickly.
Xu Wenwan bit her lip, tears shimmering in her eyes. She hadn’t expected it to be this humiliating.

’She was married to Yun Hao now; he was her man. If he was being mocked, didn’t that mean she was being mocked too?’
Chen JianShe glanced at the small, shallow depression on the ground. Any random pothole in the village was bigger than this. It was a special kind of talent for Yun Hao to fall over it; anyone else would have had trouble falling there even if they’d wanted to.
Utterly humiliated, Yun Hao quickly got on the bike and pedaled away.
Snowflakes danced in the air, and Yun Hao wasn’t moving very fast, so everyone immediately followed behind him.
The wedding procession was incredibly boisterous. It seemed like everyone in the village who was able to had shown up.
Xu Wenwan was absolutely livid, still demanding her system find a way to immediately undo the plot changes she had made earlier.
’That humiliating scene just now was bad enough. If there’s more to come, I’m seriously going to lose it.’
