Chapter 647: Divine Battle — Part 3

From within Elysia’s magic circles, a completely black sphere emerges. I feel time magic — a dense, dangerous magic. The collapsed time inside the sphere gives off a pitch-black, gray-ridden tone.

From my own magic circle, a "slash" is fired. It is the [Chaos Blade of Perdition], a Doom Element spell that generates a massive red cut with the power to erase any form of Mana.

Our attacks collide almost instantly. But because her sphere is time magic rather than a Mana-based attack, my magic doesn’t slice it in two. The collision releases so much energy that the color of the sky shifts entirely, as if Mana were an intense pigment staining the heavens a pale red with gray clouds.

In the end, my attack loses out. The time sphere remains stable, while my magic, which had far fewer circles behind it, loses stability and is destroyed.

The sphere is too fast. It catches my torso. To protect the baby, I use spatial magic to "send" my uterus into a parallel dimension temporarily, dodging the blow while keeping it connected to my body.

The moment the sphere touches me, half my torso is obliterated. Elysia seizes the opening, closing the distance far too quickly. She immediately follows up with a fencing technique, slicing through my entire body with thousands of cuts, shredding it into impossibly tiny pieces.

’Good thing I protected my baby’s little room.’ I’ll return my uterus to its proper place later. Thanks to spatial magic, it’s still connected to my body, so leaving it elsewhere isn’t an issue.

"..." My body begins to regenerate. Black blood extends outward, snatching up the pieces and reconnecting them in a grotesque fashion, reassembling my body as if it were a toy made of building blocks. Elysia’s face twists into pure disgust as my body fully restores itself.

"Killing me isn’t that easy, you whore." I point at her, activating another magic circle. She mirrors the movement. Physical blows won’t kill either of us for now — we both have far too much magic to heal ourselves.

We’ll have to wear each other down until recovering from physical damage is no longer possible.

’If I keep attacking her with magic, I think she’ll do the same since we’re evenly matched, and this battle will come down to versatility.’

"Good. If you broke too quickly, I couldn’t punish you for existing in the same universe as me," she says with sheer arrogance. Both of our magic circles unleash an extreme initial wave of magic.

But because I started first, I switch tactics. I use my fists and start violently punching my own magic circle. This sends countless tiny energy beams hurtling toward Elysia, catching her completely off guard.

Each beam unleashes a different element, and at my speed, so many beams of such varied magic are fired that Elysia can’t defend against the absurd variety.

I’m literally punching my magic into the circle — a brutish tactic, but one that produces a high volume of rapid attacks. However, due to the steep cost, it lasts only a few seconds before I deactivate the magic circle.

I see Elysia riddled with holes all over her body, clear through from one side to the other. Strangely, the blood leaking from inside her is golden and doesn’t smell like blood.

’No... that’s not blood...’ Fury erupts within me the moment I realize what this shit is. The giant eye behind me shifts, its pupil turning an intensely dark red.

"YOU FUCKING WHORE, YOU SENT A COPY AT ME?! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!" I charge at this thing without any caution before it can recover, grabbing its head. With zero gentleness, I shove it against my stomach, force it into my mouth, and chew.

Throughout the entire fight, I avoided biting Elysia. Not because it wouldn’t work, but because as a goddess, devouring her is far too dangerous. I don’t know what passives or abilities she possesses that could be extremely lethal, so letting her this close to the inside of my body was a risk I wasn’t willing to take.

But a copy? This whore used a fucking COPY! I deliberately tear her body apart, dismembering and ripping off pieces while methodically chewing to keep this thing alive as I listen to her screams.

"A-Agh, you bitch!" A pained voice reaches me, and I take a punch to the chest. The real Elysia appears, sinking her hand into my mouth and pulling out everything she can. She quickly casts a spell that releases a massive shockwave, shoving me backward while she holds the pieces of her clone in her hands.

The clone immediately begins to be absorbed into Elysia’s body in a soft golden glow.

"..." I stare at Elysia, who’s bleeding in a few places. As I suspected, for a clone to have that much power, it would need to share the same power source — in this case, it would especially need a direct connection to the real one.

"What do you think of that, you WHORE? Did you enjoy receiving a soul resonance, you worthless cunt?" I spit the horrid golden blood from my mouth as I glare at this piece of shit who thought a clone would be enough.

’I didn’t notice her approaching... what annoying stealth...’ I should have swallowed it immediately — that would have dealt irrecoverable damage to her soul. This little shit still managed to save the fragment of her soul before it was destroyed.

I figured she’d have an immense range of abilities, but that clone was far too well-made. How frustrating.

"Hahaha, why stare at me with such hatred? Didn’t like getting bitten?! I also HATED seeing you underestimate me like that." I smell her blood — real blood this time. It dangerously sharpens my instincts as I form a large katana.

"You’re a true plague, Pandora. An inelegant, disgusting, ill-mannered plague." The real Elysia’s gaze is far colder and more centered, nothing like that clone’s. She appears in front of me instantly, so fast I don’t have time to react as she slices off my arm.

I try to kick her, but she pivots extremely fast, cutting with her sword while firing off spells. I fire spells back at hers, creating a spear and defending against a sword strike that would nearly split me in two.

"Got a little mad, did you?" I say mockingly, coating my fists with [Mercurial Hunter] and beginning to pummel her using my martial arts. She blocks everything but is forced backward.

Each punch makes the entire dimension tremble. I don’t know where Mom and Azraelith are, since I can’t sense them, but even so, the fight is growing frantic. This dimension is insanely durable.

Because my fists are coated in my divine weapon, they can collide against her weapon without my hands being completely destroyed. Each punch pushes her further away as I keep pressing her with everything I’ve got.

"You’ll pay dearly for trying to humiliate me like this, Elysia." I grab her blade and pull, attempting to land a blow on her, but she suddenly twists the blade and impales my hand. I feel something being injected into my body, which makes me leap backward in retreat.

"U-Urgh?" Something strange courses through me, and then my body begins to shrink. Suddenly, my body loses its true form, reverting to its normal humanoid shape. I look at my hands in confusion, then at Elysia.

"Surprised? Your whore of a mother transforms too, and so does that abomination of a sister of yours. You think I haven’t learned that trick?" I see a black liquid dripping from the tip of Elysia’s blade as she speaks with a mockery that infuriates me.

"Do you like it? It’s made from your mother’s blood. Perfect for dealing with a little abomination like you." She heals herself with magic, mending the damage as she points her sword at me.

’This is... unexpected... I didn’t think I’d lose my true form...’ I put some distance between us, assessing my body. My power remains nearly the same. I’ve only lost my true form, which will affect my magic output and regeneration. Before, I could regenerate even if I were shredded to bits. Not anymore.

’Even my uterus, which I preserved in another dimension connected to me via spatial magic, was affected...’ Without giving me time to think, Elysia advances. Now we’re at the "same" height, but this humanoid body isn’t so disadvantageous.

I create a sword just like hers and block her attack. However, with my new size, I use only one hand on the sword, redirecting hers and punching her in the face, pushing her back.

I use my tail to shove her and fire flames at her face. She dodges, but I use temporal magic to appear right in front of her, kicking her face at eye level.

CRACK.

I appear behind her, using my sword to run her through from one side to the other, destroying her spine. But as I do, I notice that her body is strange inside — very different from what I expected, considering she’s the goddess of humans.

"!!!" A slash decapitates me. Blood, now red instead of black, pours out. But using my regeneration and Mana, I solidify the blood and pull my head back into place while firing a massive amount of magic at her, violently shoving her upward. freёwebnoѵel.com

’For now, thanks to my immense amount of magic, losing my head isn’t instant death... but it’s still dangerous...’

The attack caught Elysia so off guard that she was hit with no chance to react. As I put distance between us, flying to the opposite side, I touch my neck to assess the regeneration.

"My regeneration is slower... System, can I access how many abilities Elysia has? Just a quantity assessment, not what they do." I use my own version of the system to try to analyze, tapping into the true system.

"[According to free system data, Elysia has over 560,000 passives, 289,326,362,632,531 actives, and 9 trillion spells, though 95% of that does not affect goddesses.]"

’5% of what she has poses a danger to me... far more than I expected.’ 99% of my system spells are useless, so I understand. A lot of things don’t affect goddesses, and that’s exactly why I’m so focused on using the Doom element.

"D-Dammit! I got distracted!" I see an immense white beam coming at me from very far away. My body bristles at the danger. I’m certain — this is an elemental attack of the [Sky] element. A threat to my life. And without my true form, I don’t have as much regeneration as I’d like.

I think fast, searching for a solution to defend against an attack that has already been launched, since I don’t have time to dodge or block with another attack.
