Chapter 2: Chapter Two:The missing son
At a restaurant
It went off without a hitch
What was that sound? This city seems cursed.
Neil leaned back in his chair and asked in a low voice, A drink please.
I looked at him in surprise: You drink?
He shot me a
cold look
“None of your business.
I raised my glass with a smile I know, but you shouldn’t do this alone... I’ll join you.
Neil let out a sarcastic laugh: Fine, another drink then!” Then he looked at me with sudden seriousness: Tell me,
are you looking for comfort here? Don’t make me laugh... You’re in Malisora, the city
of forbidden energy users.
A pungent odor wafted from him, and it seemed the alcohol had completely taken control of him.
I asked, puzzled: Forbidden energy? What do you mean?
He whispered in a low tone, his eyes glazed over
You’ll find out soon.
Neil staggered to his feet: I’m going home... I’m not okay, I drank too much.
I watched him in silence, my face etched with confusion.
Neil stopped at the door and let out a hysterical laugh that shattered the calm of the room: Malisora is dangerous at night... no, at all times. Then he shot me one last terrifying glance: Don’t follow me.
I nodded, watching him walk away: “You’re crazy I’m not going to follow you and leave this food behind; I’m going to finish my meal and yours too But those questions kept gnawing at my mind.
In the streets of Malisura, shrouded in darkness.
the cold air hit me, and my questions multiplied in my head: Forbidden energy? What is that boy hiding?
I threw my exhausted body onto the bed and sank into a sleep interrupted only by the sound of rain the next morning.
Today I will wrest the truth from Neil... Malisura is not just a city, and there is a secret behind that energy he mentioned.
I opened my umbrella and stepped outside, the rain washing the streets heavily.
At the end of the street, a black, unmarked car was parked. As soon as I stepped out, the car moved with lightning speed to block my path. Unidentified men pounced; my attempts to resist were futile; they covered my face with a suffocating mask.
My vision vanished... and my breath grew shallow under the weight of the mask. I tried to call for help, but my consciousness was slowly fading, and the world around me was sinking into darkness.
Until it was completely dark.
Sir, the mission is complete. We have the boy.
Good... Bring him here immediately.”

Deep within the city of Malisora, in a place shrouded in pitch-black darkness, where terror lurked in every corner,
the echo of quiet footsteps reverberated through the hall. Ghaib stood, bowing respectfully, and called out in a low voice,
filled with awe and fear: Ancient King, then uttered the name that made the place tremble: Azrad.
Ghaib’s eyes widened as he scanned the depths of the darkness, and a tremor seized his stammering voice:
I have obtained the organs of one child. Those mercenaries, those money-grubbing dogs, they have carried out the mission.
He hadn’t even finished speaking when a chilling murmur rose up, as if supernatural dark forces were seeping through the cracks in the room.
And in the depths of that terrifying silence, the voice of Azrad, the ancient king, boomed. It was so terrifying that Ghaib could not stand on his feet.
Why are you telling me this nonsense? Do you think the remains of a single child are an achievement worth mentioning?
You know very well, Ghaib, what we are seeking. I have sent my most elite men, the most skilled in the forbidden arts of energy.
to spread across every inch of this land. You, Zaroth, and Jin, I have entrusted you with your mission in the southern part of the city of Malisora.
Azrad’s gaze fell upon Gheb with a dead stare, and suddenly a wave of energy surged through Gheb’s body.
shaking his entire being, causing his body to compress and crack. Blood poured out, and he couldn’t even try to stop it. He remained bent over, motionless, blood dripping from his body.
Azrad continued:
“And in every direction I have placed three of my strongest men: north, west, east, and in the very heart of the city itself.
Do you dare to face me with scraps that won’t even feed or satisfy the hunger of my dogs?
I granted you power and opened the gates of Hell for you to walk upon its flames as a master,
and now you bring me a shame worthy of pity.
Azrad paused for a moment, then added with a gaze devoid of any trace of mercy, causing Ghaib’s chest to tremble:
“Know your place, you fool.
You know full well that I am searching for my missing son, the sole legitimate heir to the Red Ash clan.
So be sure of your target before you harvest any teenager’s organs.
Ghaib muttered the words haltingly, as terror consumed him:
Yes... I’ll match his DNA with yours. I’ll search everywhere for him... your son... we’ll bring him back alive.
In that moment, Ghaib was swallowed by a whirlpool of dark thoughts. Now he understood the secret
behind the extermination of the Red Ash Clan.
This man is the sole survivor, and he is searching for his missing son—who may already be dead—to turn him
into nothing more than a tool for the organization’s project.
This is madness in itself. With his rare lineage and overwhelming power,
He seeks to fuse the organs of teenagers with the blood of his clan, using black magic and forbidden, excessive energy, to create deadly monsters.
He wants his son to be the eternal source of these monsters, because his power consumes his lifespan.
The only clan capable of this ability is the Red Ash Clan, and his son carries the clan’s blood.
As Ghaib was lost in his thoughts, a pale hand suddenly appeared out of nowhere and rested on his shoulder.
A voice whispered in his ear:
Hello... I wonder what you’re thinking about?
Gheeb jumped as if stung, leaping backward into a defensive stance, his eyes brimming with fear at the sudden presence.
A mocking laugh burst from Regin as he said, Hold on, hold on, there’s no need for all that fear.
Ghaib spoke to himself in shock: Where did that come from? He’s terrifyingly fast. I didn’t sense his presence
or his aura of forbidden energy until he touched me. How did he conceal that so perfectly?
From behind the throne, a cold, feminine voice rang out, standing beside King Azrad:
“Stop your nonsense, Regin.
The first step was in the darkness, but the second was right in front of Regin.
Ghaib was stunned, and the blood froze in his veins: What? Where did she come from? Are these humans or demons?
Ghaib felt a terrifying pressure from them: Damn... who are these people?
Regin laughed sarcastically: Hold on, hold on, I was just joking with him. No need to intervene.
Maya replied with a sharp glare: “Don’t bother Azrad with your childish behavior.
Do you understand me?
She looked at him with a merciless gaze.
Regin sighed in resignation: “All right, all right.
Azrad’s voice once again filled the hall, his pale eyes bearing the shadow of death within them:
You know what you must do, Gheib. If you return to me empty-handed again, you know what your fate will be, don’t you?
Ghaib replied, fear weighing heavily on his heart: “Yes... I know.
Azrad spoke dismissively: “Then leave, you fool.
Ghaib left, dragging the tails of failure and terror behind him, his steps unsteady.
Ghaib sighed, saying, I sensed a terrifying force that didn’t approach me, lurking in the darkness. As soon as his
feet touched the street, he pulled out his phone with a trembling hand,
and called Zaroth and Jen, speaking in a firm tone
We’re leaving immediately.
