Chapter 977: Chapter 977: Astonishing Everyone

The camera dropped, and the whole room erupted in thunderous applause.

Just moments ago, they only heard Summer Monroe directly call out the answer; though shocked, it didn’t compare to the impact of watching Summer solve the problem right before their eyes.

"This is insane! I’m losing it! How did she come up with this solution so quickly?"

"A genius is a genius, and Summer is certainly a genius. Clearly, there’s a gap between me and geniuses!"

Victor Ford was about to burst into tears again.

"Boo hoo, maybe I should bow to her to express my gratitude for being in the same class as me."

Holly Holloway smirked: "Aren’t you exaggerating?"

Victor shook his head: "No! From now on, Summer Monroe isn’t just my big shot; she’s my dad! Mr. Monroe, I bow to you!"

Saying this, he really did bow towards the stage.

The people nearby were amused by Victor, but Willow Grant couldn’t manage even a smile.

Her expression was worse than crying; her face turned from green to white, and she could no longer maintain her composure. She stood up, stepped over the legs of the person to her right, and dashed towards the auditorium door.

If she didn’t vent, she felt she would truly go mad!

In the parents’ section, Mrs. Grant’s face was also grim.

She wasn’t foolish; after that answer, she finally realized she had underestimated Summer Monroe.

Yet she couldn’t comprehend how a country bumpkin could withstand pressure and mentally calculate Mio Osborne’s question.

Could it be that Susan Stone might really abandon Willow for that country girl?

It wasn’t an impossible thought.

Mrs. Grant was just about to ask Susan Stone what she thought when she looked up and saw Willow running past her.

"Willow?" Mrs. Grant was stunned and quickly chased after her.

Susan looked at the mother and daughter’s backs, shook her head without expression.

If you are inferior in skills, you must accept defeat.

Luckily, Summer didn’t disappoint her.

Otherwise, she might’ve been the one rushing out in anger.

It seemed the lucky coin she lent to Summer really worked.

Two students ahead were heard discussing: "From now on, remember to pay respects to Summer before exams. She’s beyond an academic god; she’s a genius! The term academic god doesn’t even suit her!"

Susan relaxed her brow, patted the student speaking, and asked: "Classmate, I heard you say earlier that the first two quantum mechanics problems were the hardest. Why are you reacting more to this one?"

The student enthusiastically clarified: "Well, Auntie, this third question wasn’t as difficult as the first two, but even as a math major, I couldn’t think of a second method to solve it. Yet, the goddess wrote out three methods immediately; I’m completely out of my league, which is why our reaction is so intense."

Having not dealt with advanced mathematics for years, Susan asked: "Using three methods, is it difficult?"

"Of course it is! I can guarantee that even our advanced mathematics professor couldn’t think of a third method. Solving advanced math with elementary math, it’s practically at a mathematician’s level."

A mathematician...

Susan’s throat tensed, and for some reason, she started feeling excited inside.

Just then, her phone suddenly rang.

Susan glanced at the caller ID, looking puzzled.

Why would Ah Yeh call her now?

Susan answered with a bewildered face: "Hello?"
