Chapter 2406: Chapter 2405: Burial in the Nether Earth

The Chaos Beast listened to Long Fei’s words, went back to Terra King Star alone, and left Long Fei on Netherworld Star.

This guy really loves to wander.

Long Fei chuckled as he found the largest piece of Nether Earth near Ying’s Mansion.

This place originally should have been a huge basin, but after gathering Netherworld Water, it became the largest Yin gathering place on Netherworld Star.

The soil here was black, and because of the extremely low temperature difference, everything was surrounded by a hazy fog.

"This is it!"

Long Fei stepped inside, and just upon entering the depths, he heard a muffled shout, "Who is disturbing the peace of the ancestor here?"

"Is there someone here?"

Long Fei raised his eyebrows and shouted below, "Are you the Ying Clan ancestor?"

After a moment of silence, a shriveled large hand suddenly burst out from underground, reaching up to grab Long Fei.

This shriveled large hand, filled with sinister Yin Qi, could turn an ordinary cultivator into dense water with just a touch.

Come out and speak!

Long Fei grabbed this shriveled wrist and lifted it fiercely, causing the ground to rumble loudly and crack open.

Inside, a hairy monster was violently pulled out of the ground by Long Fei.

It let out a surprised screech, and another hand suddenly drew a sword.

The Sword Qi extended three thousand miles, contained the power of the Celestial Venerable, and slashed towards Long Fei’s arm.

This person, surprisingly, already had the cultivation level of a Celestial Venerable.

Long Fei raised his hand, his palm transformed into a black vortex, blocking the descending Sword Qi.

His hand grabbed the monster’s longsword and shook it fiercely, splitting the sinister longsword into two halves.

"Who are you? Why do you trouble me?"

The Celestial Venerable, realizing Long Fei’s power, spoke with a much more polite tone.

Long Fei imprisoned him within the palm imprint, and said coolly as he stared at him, "Just like you, I wish to find some peace here. Who are you? Are you the ancestor of the Ying Family?"

"The Ying Family, I wish I could kill every one of them. They imprisoned me here, who knows how many years it’s been."

The hairy monster seemed to recall some unbearable past and shivered from anger.

"Is that so?"

Long Fei released him, letting him fall from the air to the ground.

He looked at Long Fei, surprised, "You’re not going to kill me?"

Long Fei shrugged, "The enemy of my enemy is a friend, maybe we can become friends."

The monster calmed himself, slammed the ground with both hands, and said, "Friends, it’s the word ’friends’ that got me harmed."

He slammed the ground again, taking a while to calm down.

Long Fei didn’t have to ask; the monster began to speak to himself, "My name is Xuu Fu, I was once as close as brothers with Ying Zheng, the young clan leader of the Ying Clan. I helped him become a sovereign, helped him cultivate, helped him become immortal, but he sealed me in this Nether Forbidden Land for a hundred thousand years. Tell me, how unfair, how unkind is this Heavenly Dao?"

"Ying Zheng?"

"Xuu Fu?"

Long Fei almost dropped his jaw, confirming the names with the weird figure several times.

His historical knowledge seemed somewhat lacking.

These two figures, after all, were familiar historical characters to him, but the time was off by too much.

Seeing his reaction, the monster grew curious, "You seem to have heard my name?"

Long Fei nodded, "Maybe, maybe not you. The Xuu Fu I know was an alchemist under Ying Zheng, who went to Dongying to seek the elixir of immortality, and never returned. Ying Zheng became an emperor, yet seemingly never became immortal, right?"

Xuu Fu laughed bitterly, "Is this how they wrote about me in later generations? What a joke, an enormous joke!"

He went completely mad, rolling and jumping crazily in front of Long Fei.

Long Fei found him too noisy and smacked him unconscious.

This guy was too disruptive to Long Fei’s peace, so Long Fei threw him out of the area temporarily.

With the Witch God Flags guarding, it wouldn’t be easy for this guy to get back in.

Long Fei stepped down into the Nether Earth and buried himself underground, taking over the place.

Yin Qi surged from all directions, quickly reacting with the Yang Qi in his bloodline.

The Black Tortoise Bloodline in his body reacted, continuously devouring the surrounding Yin Malevolence Qi, restoring the balance of Yin Yang Qi within him.

Once the blood Qi in his flesh calmed down, Long Fei began to peacefully cultivate his soul.

He closed himself off and lost track of time.

Days broke, East left, autumn came.

Yin Yang changed, Heaven and Earth revolved.

When Long Fei regained consciousness, there was already muffled thunder in the void, the Heavenly Tribulation was approaching.

He awoke from the confinement of Yin Qi, stepped out of the Nether Earth, and with one breath, swallowed the Essential Qi from thousands of miles around into his mouth.

The world before him had become unfamiliar.

On Nether King Star, it was transparent.

The sky was blue, the clouds were white.

The breath he just took caused all vegetation within thousands of miles to wither instantly.

Long Fei coughed dryly, like a child who made a mistake, coughing twice dryly, not intentionally swallowing these beings’ Essential Qi.

He thought the outside would still be filled with sinister Yin Qi; little did he know it had changed so drastically.

The Netherworld Star seemed less like a Netherworld Star and more like a paradise.

He withdrew the Twelve Witch God Flags and could no longer find the monster who claimed to be Xuu Fu.

Because of him, the restriction here was already broken.

The monster was nowhere to be found, long gone from this world.

Sword light flickered throughout the void.

This world now surprisingly had new cultivators.

They gathered and surrounded the borders of the Nether Earth domain, each discussing, "What happened to this forbidden land?"

"Don’t know! Just now, it seemed like there was a thunderbolt explosion, and all the surrounding vegetation suddenly withered."

"Could there be Demons reappearing?"

"No way! The Demon Race had been extinct for thousands of years in our Nine Domains, right?"

"..."

Long Fei got the gist that these young folks took this area as a forbidden land, and it seemed the Demon Race was extinct?

How many years had passed?

Long Fei didn’t have time to think further, as he vanished from the domain, preparing to find a quiet spot in the void to undergo his tribulation.

He had gambled wisely this time, balancing Yin Yang, first suppressing True Immortal Flesh, then cultivating the soul.

Doing so greatly increased his cultivation level, breaking through to the Mahayana Realm in one fell swoop.

After passing the Heavenly Tribulation, he formally entered the Celestial Venerable Tribulation Realm.

This realm was truly just a step away from True Immortal.

With massive thunderbolts, Long Fei feared affecting the balance of the Nine Domains and traversed the void with his flesh, moving out of the Nine Domains and into a dead star area in a neighboring Star Domain.

In the universe, there are many such regions large and small.

Though there are stars, life has not evolved, only enormous galaxies circle and operate, continually evolving down the river of time.
