"Human boy, why did you choose to help those devilkin return to the Demon Domain? Haven't your kind always hated devilkin the most?"

The Great Devil's phantom fixed its gaze on him. "Tell me, who gave you your Void Eye?"

"Of course." Ling Feng shrugged. "I met a devil empress named Ke Weili in a sealed place. I agreed to some of her conditions, and she granted me the power of the Void Eye."

"So it was Empress Ke Weili."

A trace of respect flickered in the Great Devil's eyes. It nodded slowly. "Very well. Since you are someone chosen by her, I will do you a favor. As a human, your Void Eye should not be able to advance further. Today, I will use the remaining power in this Great Devil Core to help you raise its level."

Ling Feng stared at it in disbelief. Since when had devilkin become so reasonable?
