The semi-transcendental being and the horde of monsters it summoned were staring at Mika and Lily from afar.
"I’m sorry." Mika said after putting Lily down.
He was sorry for so many things.
He was sorry for hiding his identity from her.
He was sorry for ridiculing her dream.
He was sorry for deceiving her all the time.
"M-Mika..." Lily softly muttered, trying to reach out to him.
Based on the shakiness of his voice, she understood the meaning behind his words.
However, Mika, who was too scared of her reaction, could only face her with his back.
[Are you sure about this?]
"Yes." Mika murmured as he walked away from her without saying another word to her.
The talking could wait until the end of the mission.
Right in front of her, Mika changed back to his other form. It was a sight Lily was yearning for all the time.
Aside from hair length and the now-matured body, it was the same sight as back then.
Lily fell to her knees.
And with a smile on her face, she wiped away her tears.
"So you were always there..." she whispered to herself in joy.

"Good. I will start off with a bang then."
Following those words, Mika levitated with his white wings into the air.

The floor boss and its creatures were looking up at Mika, who raised his arm.
"Enlarge." Mika commanded once he threw the Holy Spear down to his enemies.
The ground was trembling for a moment due to the impact. And with its palace-like size, the spear engulfed the entire enemy area.
"Shrink."
The spear returned back to its original size and got attracted back to Mika’s hand.
Now, in the midst of a desert, there was a gigantic crater with no enemies left.
Aside from the floor boss.
Surprisingly, it was more unfazed than Mika initially thought as it casually got back up on its feet.

Mika and the boss were staring each other in the face.
"Enlarge."
The spear was directed somewhere else and expanded its length.

In an instant, the spear pulled back its spearhead.
"Mika?!"
And with the spearhead came Sara and Belian, who were both holding onto it.

Belian did not waste any time and blocked off the attacks aimed at Mika by radiating flames on his sword and slashing the bandages.

Mika and the other two descended down.
"So that’s why you insisted on grabbing the spearhead that was coming out of nowhere...!" Sara realized, facing Belian.
"Yes."
Just a few moments ago, the two found themselves surrounded by the enemies, whose numbers may be infinite, however, it was then that Mika’s spear reached the two of them, waiting for them to grab on.
"Sorry for doing it that way but I need your help here." Mika stated indifferently.
"Hm~ I think I got the grasp on the situation..." Sara stated with a faint smirk after checking the surroundings.
She also noticed Lily from afar but did not say anything.
"The little one is the real floor boss, I assume?" Belian asked.
Mika nodded.
"Alright."
Belian and Sara, who joined Mika’s side, both drew their relics.
[2 minutes left.]
"Don’t focus on anything else besides leaving a lethal cut on that thing, Sara. Belian and I will path a way for you."
"Got it." Sara replied sternly.
"Good. Then, let’s go, guys!"
Thus, the trio charged right into the horde of monsters.
"Enlarge."
Wielding the Holy Spear, Mika changed its overall size when he threw it at the monsters to the left of Sara.

Belian applied fire on his sword and did a sword thrust, burning down the enemies to the right of Sara.
"Fuu..." Sara exhaled deeply as she ran in a straight line.
On her path were a few monsters but she cut them down swiftly.
Surprisingly, the monsters there were weaker and easier to handle than the monster Belian and Sara faced at the beginning.
"There it is..."
Her eyes sharpened at the sight of the floor boss.
From her right, she heard burning enemies and rising flames whereas she heard loud bangs on the other side.
But she did not pay them any more attention and zoned in on the enemy in front of her.
While the boss tried to shoot some bandages at her, Sara turned her water magic black once it got applied to her sword.
"Take this!" she yelled vigorously as she slashed through the bandages.
And as she unleashed a black water slash at the same time, the floor boss got hit across its upper body.
"I did it, guys!" she declared hurriedly.
The two boys glanced over to her shortly while they were still occupied with the others.
"Good. Now- Watch out!" Mika warned her.
"?!"
Sara turned around but it was too late.
Again, bandages were wrapped around her body parts and strangled her.
This time, these bandages came from the floor boss’ body. Those bandages were extended and moved like they were a part of its body.
"Tch!"
Mika made a signal with his hands for light arrows to shoot it and its bandages.
Shortly afterward, those arrows hit them.
"Gah!" Sara gasped as she was finally able to breathe properly again.
Exhausted, she looked over at the creature and the shallow wound she inflicted on it.
"W-what...?"
She was flabbergasted.
The monster stood still as its wound widened. At that point in time, the wound was already so large that a normal person would have died. However, it was still standing there with an open wound, where one could even look in.
"Nothing...?" Belian muttered after inspecting its insides.
There was nothing inside that monster. It was empty inside.
And eventually, the sword cut widened so much that it was torn in two.
The other monsters also ceased their movements.
"Is it over...?" Sara wondered.
"No..." Mika replied vigilantly.
They were facing a semi-transcendental being. There was no way that it would go down that easily.
"?"
Then, around the motionless body, or rather, cover bandages shot up from the sand and formed a ball around it.
And when the ball dispersed, the other monsters moved again.
After all, their leader emerged from that ball completely unfazed.
"Did it regenerate...?" Mika pondered.
[It most likely recreated itself with new bandages.]
Hearing that, Mika took a look at the ground beneath it and noticed that the bandages from the previous boss were still there.

While he was thinking, Belian did not waste a second and ambushed the floor boss.

However, the process only repeated itself with a new body emerging.
"What now...?" Sara asked the other two as they huddled together with their backs facing each other.
The floor boss summoned even more monsters from outside, making the place practically swarm with its type.

Mika pondered.
In comparison to Shira, another semi-transcendental being, this one was lacking in strength as an individual, however, it made that weakness up with its ability to switch over to new bodies and to duplicate itself endlessly.
While Shira was more dangerous, this being was more annoying.
If Belian and Sara were not able to defeat it with their sure-to-kill relics, how else could they beat it?
But Mika dismissed that thought immediately.

The two turned their heads to Mika.

And strangely, those monsters cowered in her presence, going even so far as to push each other away as she came closer.

Quickly, she grabbed the head of a skeleton soldier and threw it into the circle, which began to shine.
"Alright, let’s get this over with." she sighed with her arms crossed.
Even though it was scared, the monster she picked up had no other choice than to fight. For that monster, it was either dying pathetically or dying by fighting.
However, before it could even make a step, it shattered into dozens of pieces.
"..."
Uninterested, the woman took out a small marble as she began to get engulfed in a strange light.
"How long has it been since I’ve seen you, Dugea?" she muttered with an eerie grin before she vanished.
