While Louis’ group was about to encounter the king’s nest, Zhen and Mika faced off against each other.
"Let’s finish this up quickly and hurry to their sides." Mika said in a serious tone as the air around him started to change.
"I know. That’s why I will go all out from the beginning." Zhen replied with his body getting covered in flames.
Mika put his entire weight on his legs and pushed himself off the soil.
He was now in his unsealed state as he was about to swing Excalibur at Zhen.

The ground around Zhen was ablaze as he stretched his palm towards Mika.
He let out a fire blaze from his palm but Mika effortlessly neutralized the attack by cutting through it with Excalibur.
"?"
Zhen, who was surprised, unconsciously let his guard down for a moment, which Mika used to his advantage by swapping out Excalibur for his spear.
Now, standing only a few inches away from Zhen, Mika swung the spear, slapping Zhen in the face.

Zhen slightly stumbled to the side.
However, Mika did not stop and threw the spear at him.
The throw was evaded by jumping aside.
"Interesting." Zhen stated quietly.
He began to run towards the still-standing Mika.
"Enlarge."
"?"
Mika was already jumping away when his spear extended its length and came shooting from the woods, where it was originally thrown.
"Shrink." Mika ordered after he grabbed the spear.
The spear returned to its original size.
Now, Mika was the one to dash at Zhen.
"Enlarge."
And as he swung the spear from a wide distance, it extended its length again.
"..."
Zhen was able to catch the spear and held it tightly with his arms.
"This could have been my win by now..." Mika muttered apathetically.
If he had commanded the spear to increase its width greatly, then Zhen, who was choking the spear with his arms, would blow up, or at least his upper body would.
However, as this was not a match to the death, Mika refrained from doing that and opted for a different approach.
Lightly, Mika jumped.
"Shrink."

While being midair, the spear changed its length back.
And Mika, who was also holding the spear, was pulled towards Zhen.
Noticing that Zhen let go of the spear and was about to move away, the spear began to shine brightly and in Mika’s hand, Excalibur was about to reappear again.
Then, the spear dispersed completely.
Mika, who was in striking zone, swung the now fully-manifested Excalibur at Zhen.
Zhen, however, ducked.

And when he got up, Zhen flipped backward and landed a kick on Mika’s chin.
He followed up with a knee to the stomach while holding down Mika’s right arm so that he could not swing Excalibur.
"Ugh...!"
Then, Zhen placed his right foot behind Mika’s right foot. He grabbed Mika’s neck and pushed him down.
Zhen was about to hammer his fist down on him but Mika suddenly let out lightning sparks around his body, making Zhen distance himself from Mika.
Mika took deep breaths after he got up.

Zhen blinked only once.
And then, Mika was right in front of him.
Instinctively, he put up his arms but Mika swung Excalibur down from behind Zhen.
He turned around and tried to dodge but he could not evade the incoming attack, leaving him with a cut across his upper body, which was not too deep.

Sweat rolled down his cheeks.
However, it was not time yet for him to relax.
After all, Mika appeared beside him in an instant and this time, he wielded the spear again.

"Enlarge."
Mika thrust the spear towards Zhen, who was jumping away from him but as the spear extended once again, the spear managed to drill through a part of his side.
After landing on his feet, Zhen immediately surrounded himself with flames, preparing himself for Mika’s next attack.
However, Mika did not move from his spot this time.
"Shrink."

Mika could activate the ability ’Time Manipulation’ for just 10 seconds. After that, he had to wait for 50 seconds until he could reactivate it, meaning that he was able to use the ability three times in 3 minutes if used wisely.

Mika looked in the direction of the location, where Louis’ group was confronting the king and its subordinates.
"I will finish this with the next attack." Mika declared.
During the fight, Mika managed to land some attacks on Zhen, despite them not being fatal.
Aside from the fact that there was an opportunity to defeat Zhen, Mika chose not to end it as it would have ended badly.
Meanwhile, Zhen only landed some kicks and punches on Mika, which were not heavy enough to deal great damage to Mika.
Thus, the fight should have been far from over but with Mika only having roughly 2 minutes left until his powers were sealed again, he wanted to decide the winner with the next attack.
Zhen felt the same way.
He, too, wanted to decide the winner now as he did not want to let Louis wait for his backup any longer.

Zhen widened his eyes after Mika spread his white wings and flew into the air.

Mika retracted his arm, preparing for another spear throw.
[How will you explain to the others that you created another crater again?]
"I’ll cross that bridge once I come to it." Mika replied.
The flames around Zhen got absorbed into his palm.
Not only that but the area around him, especially the vegetation started to get dried out.
"Hm?"
Mika squinted his eyes.
Zhen’s right hand, which was already engulfed in flames, started to appear strange.
The once orange-red flames began to change color.

But before he could come to a conclusion, he and Zhen sensed the presence of multiple monsters heading their way.
The two ceased their attacks and looked in the same direction.
The earth was rumbling and the sound of roaring monsters as well as their trampling was heard louder with every passing second.
It would not take long anymore until monsters, who were previously ordered by the king of the jungle to head to both Zhen and Mika, emerged from the woods.
"What the hell..." Mika muttered taken aback, seeing different kinds of monsters riding on two rhinos, who were as big as elephants.
Above the trees, eagles with traits similar to humans flew to Mika and Zhen.
Zhen sighed while putting his hand on his face.
"Let’s end our fight for now." he suggested disappointed.
"Yes. It would be better to take care of them instead." Mika replied.
"And after that, we will head over to the others. I have a bad feeling about this..."
Zhen noticed something strange when the monsters appeared.
Considering the composition of the monster group and their coordination, it meant that they were sent by the king.
However, the king should have been occupied with Louis’ group.
If it was true that they were sent by the king, then it must also mean that the king was confident that it did not need numbers to defeat Louis and the others.
The monsters let out a roar again after those, who rode on the back of the rhinos, descended.

Mika pointed with his finger at the eagles and as signaled, light arrows came shooting down from the sky combined with thunderbolts, which also struck some monsters on the ground.
Zhen followed up with a quantity of fire pillars, turning the middle-ranked monsters into ashes.
Mika threw his spear at one of the rhinos. But the spear got barely stuck on its back.
And yet, Mika did not care.
"Enlarge."
A short scream filled with agony. And a bloody rain.
"Shrink." Mika commanded after one of the rhinos got obliterated due to the spear’s sudden increased size, which led to it getting blown up.
Zhen dashed towards the other rhino while dodging the attacks of the panthers and the stones thrown at him by the monkeys hiding behind the rhino.
He burnt down one enemy after another effortlessly.
Not even high-ranking monsters could touch him.
"..."
Mika took a moment to recognize Zhen’s skills.
But the eagles, who were wounded from the arrows, were still alive and flew towards Mika.
He dodged the punches of the bulky eagles.
And after the spear returned to his hand, Mika constantly thrust it at the eagles while repeating the command for the spear to extend its length.
The eagles were filled with multiple holes, where blood leaked out, and then dropped down lifelessly.
"So he’s also done, huh?" Mika murmured after turning his attention back to Zhen.
The burnt corpses of monkeys, panthers and snakes were scattered around, leaving only the rhino as the remaining enemy.
But the rhino was child’s play for Zhen.
It charged at Zhen, aiming to pierce him with its horn.

Zhen stood still and just lowered his lower body.
And the next thing the rhino knew was that it received a straight kick to the nose and its horn, which led to it being torn off.
It let out a loud roar until Zhen put his arm deep inside its throat.

Thus, the rhino fell on his side without moving anymore.
