Chapter 247: Chapter 247: Tell me what you need

Silas looked at her for a long moment, something fierce and possessive rising in his chest.

"He only comes out for you," he said.

Eve’s breath caught.

He kissed her throat...slowly, feeling her pulse jump against his lips. Her hands came up to his shoulders and helding on.

"Silas," she breathed.

"Still here," he murmured against her skin.

He worked his way down slowly....her neck, the hollow of her throat, her collarbone....taking his time because he finally had time again.

Eve arched slightly beneath him, and he felt the movement all through his body.

"You’re doing that on purpose," she said, her voice already going breathless.

"Yes," Silas confirmed.

She made a sound that was half frustration, half want, and Silas smiled against her skin.

He lifted his head and looked at her properly. Flushed, hair spread across his pillow like dark silk, eyes heavy-lidded and fully present.

Three weeks. He’d held everything together for three weeks, and she was here now, looking at him like that.

"Tell me what you need," Silas said.

"You," Eve said simply. "Just you."

He captured her mouth again, and this time the kiss went deeper, hungrier. His hands found the hem of her shirt and pulled it up and off, and then he was exploring newly exposed skin with his mouth and hands, relearning the map of her body.

Eve’s hands worked at his shirt, and he helped her, shrugging it off and tossing it aside without breaking contact.

"I need you," Eve said against his mouth, her fingers digging into his shoulders. "Silas, I need..."

"I know," he said, his hand sliding down her body to work at the button of her pants. "I know, love. I’ve got you."

He stripped her slowly, deliberately, pressing kisses to every part of her body he unclothe until she was bare beneath him and trembling with want. His own pants followed, kicked aside impatiently.

Silas braced himself above her, looking down at her flushed face and kiss-swollen lips. "Eve."

She opened her eyes, meeting his gaze directly. "Don’t hold back," she said. "Not tonight. I want all of you."

Something in him snapped.

He pushed inside her in one smooth, deep thrust that made them both cry out. She was tight and wet and perfect around him, and for a moment Silas couldn’t do anything but feel it....the overwhelming rightness of being connected to her again. ƒгeewёbnovel.com

Then he started to move.

The first few thrusts were measured, controlled, but Eve wrapped her legs around his waist and pulled him deeper, her nails raking down his back, and Silas’s careful control shattered.

He set a hard, driving rhythm, each thrust deep enough to make Eve gasp. Her head fell back against the pillow, exposing the long line of her throat, and Silas bent to mark it with his teeth....not hard enough to hurt, just enough to make her whimper and clench around him.

"Fuck," Eve gasped. "Silas, yes...."

"Mine," he growled against her neck, punctuating the word with a particularly deep thrust. "Say it."

"Yours," Eve breathed, her voice breaking on the word. "Yours, always yours...."

"Damn right."

He shifted the angle, hooking one of her legs over his shoulder, and the new position let him go impossibly deeper. Eve cried out, her back arching off the bed, her hands scrabbling for purchase on the sheets.

"Look at me," Silas commanded, his voice rough.

Eve’s eyes opened, hazy and dark with pleasure.

"There you are," he said, never breaking his rhythm. "Stay with me, love. I want to see you when you come."

"I’m close," Eve managed. "Silas, I’m..."

"Not yet." His hand slid between them, finding her clit with practiced ease. "Build it higher. I want to feel you come apart around me."

He worked her with his fingers while maintaining that relentless pace, driving her higher and higher until she was shaking, until every nerve in her body was pulled taut with need.

"Please," Eve sobbed, and the desperate sound of it sent heat straight through him. "Please, Silas, I need..."

"Now," he said, pressing down with his thumb just as he thrust particularly deep. "Come for me. Now."

Eve shattered.

Her whole body went rigid, inner walls clenching around him in waves as she screamed his name. Silas held her through it, working her gently to draw out every aftershock, and only when she’d stopped shaking did he let himself chase his own release.

He pulled out carefully, ignoring her noise of protest, and flipped her onto her stomach in one smooth motion.

"Silas?" Eve’s voice was dazed, sated. freёwebnovel.com

"Not done with you yet," he said, his hands gripping her hips and pulling her up onto her knees. "Not even close."

He slammed back inside her from behind, and the new angle made them both groan. From here he could go deep, could hit that spot inside her that made her see stars, and he set a punishing pace that had Eve clutching at the sheets and making sounds she’d probably be embarrassed about later.

"God, yes," she gasped. "Right there, don’t stop...."

"Not stopping," Silas promised, his fingers digging into her hips hard enough to leave marks. "Going to make you come again. Going to make you feel me for days."

He meant it. Three weeks of missing her, of sleeping alone, of feeling the bond stretched thin across too much distance, all of it was pouring into this, into the way he was claiming her, marking her, reminding both of them that this was real and solid and theirs.

His hand snaked around to find her clit again, and Eve made a high, desperate sound.

"Too much," she gasped. "Silas, it’s too much...."

"You can take it," he said against her spine. "You can take everything I give you. I know you can."

He worked her expertly, fingers circling her clit while his hips maintained that driving rhythm, and within minutes Eve was shaking again, climbing toward another peak.

"That’s it," Silas encouraged, feeling his own orgasm building at the base of his spine. "Come with me this time. Together."

Eve came with a cry that might have been his name, her whole body convulsing around him, and Silas followed a heartbeat later with a groan that seemed to come from somewhere deep in his chest. He held her hips steady as he emptied himself inside her, the pleasure rolling through him in waves that left him shaking.

They collapsed together onto the bed, both breathing hard, both trembling with aftershocks. Silas carefully withdrew and pulled Eve against his chest, pressing kisses to her shoulder, her neck, anywhere he could reach.

"Fuck," Eve said eventually, her voice wrecked.

"Good?" Silas asked, though he could feel the answer through the bond....satisfaction and pleasure and deep contentment humming between them.

"So good," Eve confirmed. She turned in his arms to face him, her eyes soft and warm. "I love you."

"I love you too," Silas said, tucking a strand of sweat-dampened hair behind her ear. "Missed you so much."

"I’m here now," she said, echoing her earlier words. "Not going anywhere."

"Good." He pulled her closer, until they were pressed together from chest to hip. "Because I’m not letting you out of my sight for at least a week."

Eve laughed softly, the sound tired but happy. "I can live with that."

They lay tangled together as their breathing slowly returned to normal. Silas traced idle patterns on her skin, memorizing the feel of her, the warmth of her, the solid reality of her presence.

After a while, Eve’s breathing evened out into the steady rhythm of sleep. But Silas stayed awake, feeling the weight of her against him, the bond between them settled and warm and quiet in a way it hadn’t been in weeks.

Somewhere in his mind, Silas registered that tomorrow there would be things to discuss, Damian’s loaded look in the corridor promised that. Decisions to make. The shape of whatever came next beginning to form on the horizon.

But not tonight.

Tonight Eve was home and breathing against his chest and the bond was whole again. Tonight the distance that had defined the past three weeks had finally, blessedly ended.

Silas pressed his mouth to the top of her head, breathed in the scent of her, and closed his eyes.

For the first time in three weeks, he let himself sleep.
