Chapter 431: Chapter 253: Maisy Edwards_2

Sunan squinted his eyes, but soon waved his hand.

"Never mind, it doesn’t matter at this point in time."

The sensing abilities of the Eye of the Star are not omnipotent, after all. It is helpless against Wizards who excel at concealing energy particle fluctuations.

Anyway, the plane barrier will be completely repaired in no more than a year. By then, the Star Alliance will be fully revealed to the many Wizard influences, and leaking information a bit early won’t affect the big picture.

"There’s one more thing," Lize suddenly showed a peculiar expression, "Amy’s owner has come over."

Sunan was stunned for a while before reacting: "Amy’s owner?"

"Fleming and Haylin encountered a woman, suspected to be from the Outer Plane. She claimed to be on the Starlight Continent seeking a lost magical pet, whose characteristics and name happen to match Amy perfectly."

Lize recounted the events.

After listening, Sunan couldn’t help but feel a bit astonished.

Since the person could mention Amy’s name and golden bell, it’s very likely she indeed is Amy’s owner.

Sunan just didn’t expect Amy’s owner to come before the Dark Throne made a large-scale invasion of the Starlight Continent.

Having said that, she can actually enter the Starlight Continent?

Sunan frowned in confusion.

But he thought again, the person probably left a waypoint on Amy.

"Where is she now?"

"Near Flash City, Fleming and Haylin are monitoring her. Without your permission, they wouldn’t dare bring her into Dragon Forest."

Sunan pondered.

According to Amy, her owner is a True Spirit Descendant, and at this point in time, she has most likely been promoted to be a True Spirit Wizard, or at the very least a Level 3 Crystallization Wizard.

With her power, destroying the Star Alliance wouldn’t be difficult.

Although Sunan can fight beyond his level, he wasn’t arrogant enough to think he could defeat a Level 3 Crystallization Wizard.

Especially since the other person is a True Spirit Descendant, whose trump cards and methods are probably no less than his.

The reason she patiently waited for Fleming and Haylin to report, rather than forcibly breaking into Dragon Forest, was probably out of regard for the Star Alliance adopting Amy.

Nonetheless, Sunan didn’t intend to let her enter Dragon Forest.

It’s always wise to have some caution.

However, meeting the person in person was necessary.

Sunan’s eyes flashed with a ghostly light, having connected to the Eye of the Star network, he quickly found Amy’s whereabouts.

In a flash, he disappeared from his original position and reappeared at Amy’s side.

The little creature was lying on the Hidden Dragon’s back, sunbathing. When it suddenly saw someone appear, it got startled. But upon recognizing the newcomer, it happily called out.

"Meow, Sunan, why are you here?"

Sunan smiled slightly: "I came to tell you some good news."

"What good news, meow?"

"Your owner has come."

Amy was stunned for a while before understanding Sunan’s meaning, then it widened its eyes with joy.

"The owner has come? Really, meow? The owner really came to find Amy, meow?"

The little creature was so excited it almost slid off the Hidden Dragon’s back.

"It should be true." Sunan reached out to catch Amy, "To verify, you can just come with me to meet her."

"Let’s go right now, meow!" Amy eagerly jumped onto Sunan’s shoulder.

After two thousand years, it was finally seeing the owner it had been yearning for, and it was now too excited to know what to say.

Seeing this, Sunan didn’t delay, and immediately took Amy from Dragon Forest to the teleportation array spot at Flash City, then flew towards the destination.

At full speed, in less than two minutes, one person and one cat arrived at the destination.

Upon seeing Sunan, Fleming and Haylin immediately bowed respectfully.

"Lord Sunan."

Before Sunan could respond, an excited and thrilled shout came from beside him.

"Owner!"

Following that, the weight on his shoulder lightened as Amy instantly traversed space, rushing into the woman’s embrace, hugging her tightly.

"Woo woo... owner... Amy missed you so much, you’ve finally come, meow!"

The woman showed a gentle look, reaching out to softly stroke Amy’s fur, and said quietly, "I’m sorry, Amy, for leaving you alone on the Starlight Continent for so long. But now that I’m back, I won’t leave you behind anymore."

The woman’s cool voice seemingly contained some sort of strange power, causing those listening to feel at peace. Amy gradually regained its composure, sniffed, and then remembered Sunan beside it, hurriedly tugged the woman’s robe, raising its paw to point at Sunan.

"Owner, that’s Sunan. Ever since I woke up, Sunan has been taking care of me. He’s really nice, meow."

The woman looked up at Sunan, nodding slightly, "Thank you for taking care of Amy."

"You’re welcome."

Sunan subtly observed the woman.

The energy particles enveloping her were extremely thin, resembling those of a Wizard Apprentice.

Even if a Level 1 Wizard were here, they probably couldn’t see through the woman’s real power.

Yet Sunan could faintly sense the deep, unfathomable spirit aura emanating from her, akin to a dark abyss.

He understood secretly.

"Owner, listen to me..."

Amy chattered away with the woman about Sunan.

Upon hearing that Sunan is a Level 2 Crystallization Wizard and also the one who single-handedly founded and took control of the Star Alliance, the woman’s gaze upon him finally changed, showing a hint of surprise.

Subsequently, the woman introduced herself:

"My name is Maisy Edwards."

"Sunan Yanest," Sunan replied, while adding silently in his mind.

This is an arrogant woman.

Although Maisy seemed gentle in character and very pleasant in demeanor, Sunan could still clearly perceive one thing: behind this gentleness and humility lurked a subtle hint of condescension.

This isn’t to say Maisy is insincere or pretentious, but rather because she is a True Spirit Wizard.

A True Spirit Wizard might be courteous to ordinary Wizards, but can one really expect her to show respect to them?

Such condescending humility signifies cultivation, demeanor, or politeness, but certainly not respect.

Sunan was well aware of this and had nothing to complain about.

After all, when facing those Wizard Apprentices from the Star Alliance, he and Maisy weren’t much different.

Perhaps it was the combination of his Level 2 Wizard status and his experience in founding the Star Alliance that made Maisy look at him differently, as evidenced by her rare initiative to introduce her name.

"Amy is my most important magical pet."

Maisy gently stroked Amy’s head, making the latter display an expression of enjoyment.

"At the time, I was in crisis. To prevent Amy from being implicated, I had it hide and enter slumber, intending to pick it up after resolving the crisis. But by the time I extricated myself, the Starlight Continent’s plane was already sealed, and it wasn’t until today that I was able to return to the Starlight Continent."

"Amy has a naïve and simple nature, surviving alone on the Starlight Continent surely brought many hardships, thanks to your care, it was able to live peacefully."

Maisy looked at Sunan, sincerely expressing her thanks once more.

"I am very grateful for your help with Amy. As repayment, if you have any requests, I will do my best to fulfill them."

Before she finished speaking, Amy impatiently chimed in.

"That’s wonderful, meow. Owner, can you help Sunan deal with those bad guys from the Dark Throne?"

"The Dark Throne?" Maisy’s face showed surprise as she glanced at Sunan, quickly understanding, "The Dark Throne has begun invading the Starlight Continent prematurely?"

"Yes." Sunan didn’t hide it, "They started invading more than ten years ago, and since then, we’ve clashed several times."

"Sunan even destroyed two Wizard Towers of the Dark Throne!" Amy said with pride.

Maisy’s gaze at Sunan acquired an additional touch of amazement.

"You actually have your own Wizard Tower?"

"It’s just a small Wizard Tower," Sunan said calmly. fгeewebnovёl.com

"That’s still impressive."

Maisy knew well how difficult constructing a Wizard Tower was, especially on the Elemental Desert of the Starlight Continent.

The young Wizard before her was even more exceptional and outstanding than she had imagined.

Maisy’s insight and experience were unmatched by ordinary Wizards, with a brief thought she comprehended the current predicament of the Star Alliance, her eyes flickered slightly.

"Perhaps I can help you," she said softly, "I forgot to mention earlier, I come from the Wisdom Code."
