Chapter 95: Chapter 88: Slaying (Part 2)
Light followed the sword.
A streak of white light suddenly tore through space!
The mecha’s Light Saber, struck by the Black Sword, seemed to freeze for an instant before shattering completely!
The terrifying force of Su Xing’s attack sent the entire mecha flying backward like a cannonball. It crashed directly into the ruins of the Dragon Heaven Building, blasting a massive hole through the wreckage.
The mecha the Space High Priest had just summoned was now a wreck. Half of its body was severely deformed, exposing the various metallic structures condensed from sequence energy. Electricity arced and sparks flew; it looked ready to explode at any moment.
Inside the mecha, the Space High Priest couldn’t help but spit out a mouthful of blood. A look of disbelief filled her eyes as she muttered:
’How is this possible?!’
’So weak?’
Su Xing couldn’t help but remark.
It wasn’t that the Space High Priest was weak. In fact, she was definitely one of the stronger Tier 4 Sequencers.
It was just that a Martial Artist with fully maxed-out stats was simply monstrous. Now that Su Xing had entered Tier 4, there were very, very few who could contend with him at the same level.
Only true, top-tier geniuses had any chance of lasting a few rounds against Su Xing at the same tier.
As Su Xing’s sword sent the Space High Priest flying, the Sparrow Sword at his side shot toward the remaining Spiritualist Followers.
The Spiritualist Followers were stunned. They never imagined that the renowned Space High Priest, one of the two most powerful High Priests in the Spiritual Sect, couldn’t even withstand a single clash.
The fear that had previously dissipated swept over them once again.
But this time, they were given no time to escape.
In an instant, the Sparrow Sword cut down all the Spiritualist Followers.
A shower of blood and gore rained down. Heads flew through the air amidst countless wails and screams.
"Damn you! Your opponent... is ME!"
A furious roar suddenly exploded. Su Xing turned his head to see the half-shattered mecha hurtling toward him with all its might. This time, it wasn’t using any Space Sequence abilities—it was a pure, physical ram of machine against flesh!
Caught off guard by such a primitive attack, even Su Xing couldn’t just stand there and take the savage charge head-on.
Su Xing felt himself being pinned and driven backward, his feet lifting off the ground as he was slammed heavily into a nearby wall.
BOOM!!
A tremendous crash echoed as the entire wall behind Su Xing shook violently. The impact left a massive crater in the reinforced concrete.
Su Xing gritted his teeth and kicked the mecha in front of him with all his might!
BOOM!
The Space High Priest felt an overwhelming force wash over her, powerful enough to topple mountains and overturn seas. It forced her two steps back as intense pain shot through her body.
The moment the Space High Priest retreated,
Su Xing reacted instantly. Gripping the Black Sword, its edge swirling with white light, he swung it in a sharp, upward arc toward the mecha’s head.
With a loud CLANG, the Black Sword, which had always been unstoppable, seemed to get stuck. It bit into the mecha’s armor and abruptly stopped.
A cold sweat broke out on the Space High Priest’s brow. She was suddenly relieved; she’d always worried the head was a weak point and had reinforced it countless times. Now, it had become her sturdiest defense.
The mecha’s head was harder than Su Xing had imagined. Gripping his sword with both hands, he let out a roar. With incredible strength, he lifted the entire four-meter-tall mecha into the air and slammed it onto the ground. Following the momentum, he plunged the Black Sword deep into its chassis!
A profound terror, the feeling of imminent death, instantly enveloped the Space High Priest.
Intense fear propelled her to act. At lightning speed, she tore open a spatial rift from within the mecha, her body appearing outside just in time to escape the fatal blow.
Before she could even catch her breath, she was sent flying by the mecha’s explosive shockwave, crashing into the building ruins once again!
「...」
Several kilometers away from the Dragon Heaven Building, a series of gasps and shouts erupted.
An unknown number of people stood there, holding binoculars, watching the scene unfold at the Dragon Heaven Building with expressions of shock or excitement.
Many people took out their phones, zooming in hundreds of times to record, but because of the great distance, the recorded footage was somewhat blurry.
But it was enough to excite them, and more and more people, hearing the sounds of explosions from the battle, began to flock to the area.
"Holy crap, is that a mecha? Is that tech, or is it Extraordinary?!"
"Dude, it’s gotta be Extraordinary! What kind of tech do we have that can build a mecha?"
"Who can say for sure!"
Many people discussed animatedly while looking at the somewhat blurry battle scene. They were far from the Dragon Heaven Building, and their earlier fear had dissipated with the distance, replaced by boundless curiosity and anticipation.
"Holy shit, that guy!"
"What kind of insane strength is that? He actually lifted such a huge mecha and smashed it to pieces! Is he even human?!"
Hearing this person’s shocked voice, a man nearby, holding his girlfriend, recalled the scenes he had witnessed inside the Dragon Heaven Building and said with a complicated expression:
"He’s not human."
’He’s a living demon.’
He didn’t say the second part out loud, his gaze remaining fixed on the distant battle.
His girlfriend had already taken off the collar from her neck. Still draped in his clothes, she wrapped her arms around his neck, her gaze also fixed on the distance.
